The PERFECT ROMANTASY! From the author of the Superhuman Romance series, DESCENDED.This series has it Kings, Captives, Faeries, Warriors, Princes, and Traitors. Even Sasquatch!Evangeline has just met the faeries in their magical Faerie Wood, and is working through an astounding revelation when Sasquatch warn of trouble in the village. She is supposed to stay safe, but cannot stand by and let this world she has come to love fall to the Purists or their traitorous leader. She will do whatever is necessary to help protect her husband, for it’s not the land alone she’s come to love.As Ryor battles enemies from without and within to save Voren and Innovia from the cannibal aliens of Cri’ar, losses are great, but he is surprised by an unexpected ally as new alliances are formed and more traitors exposed.** This book is not a “stand-alone” and should not be read without having read the first two books in the series.
~~ God gave me a passion to write Romance. These books don’t contain explicit sex scenes, but my characters have real desires, struggles and choices to make. A lot of the time they make the wrong ones. No subject is prohibited, but good always triumphs and God is glorified. ~~ In my personal life, He has also blessed me with a wonderful husband and three dynamic children, all of whom are destined to make wide, colorful splashes in this world. Definitely worth a second read! (As is the entire series.) Book three wraps up the saga in a very satisfying way. I don’t recommend reading it as a stand-alone because you will need to read the series in its entirety in order to understand the relationships and plot. However, this won’t be a burden by any stretch because the series is so engaging! I was captivated by book one and wanted more, and thankfully, that happened. All three books are actually just one story flowing together. They are about an Earth woman and her friend who get embroiled in the politics of another world after being captured, but the real star of the books is the romance. Yes, there are some edge-of-your-seat moments, unexpected plot twists, and descriptive battle scenes, but the romance between Evangeline and Prince Ryor is what takes center stage. As you’ll know--because you must read book one and two first--there are some steamy sex scenes for a faith based book, but it is one of the things that sets this author’s work apart. She doesn’t shy away from passion in her stories, while still maintaining a faith based message. That message doesn’t overtake the story, however, and is never preachy or in your face. I loved this entire series and will probably read it again, paying more attention to the wonderful world building and description. On the first read through, I was so enthralled with the story, I might have missed some of these elements!
This is a beautiful ending to a great series. When this series began, I didn't like Ryor but, over time, he grew on me. I love how he grew into a more understanding and loving spouse. I also enjoyed the suspense and intrigue. It was interesting and delightful to see how the author wrapped up some of the questions that I had about several characters. There were a few twists and turns which left me in shock, and made the story more exciting. I want more of this world.
This book was an awesome ending to the story. There seemed to be a lot of character growth and they became like friends. I enjoyed this story and taking part in this journey. Well done to the author!
I loved this series. Strong characters, fascinating world and creatures, and great plot. Excellent writing. Didn't want to put it down or for it to end.
