My name is Tamsin Vale and I’m the only living heir to all of Faerie. It’s still hard to accept that, but given how often people call me “Princess” or “Your Highness” like it’s my actual name, I can’t deny it.
I simply hate that I am.
Yeah, it’s going that well.
The councils’ win might have seemed small, but the ripples from that decision are drowning me at every turn. I can’t endure the bullying and abuse much longer, and I can’t fight back given the situation my people are in.
I’m not sure I care anymore after finding out fairies being awesome was a lie. Most days I struggle to not push them all back in the darkness and live as I want… Because the more of them I free, the more I’m trapped.
Something major needs to change and soon but I don’t know where to start. I can’t get my footing when I’m always at the center of the storm. The hobgoblins are clear that something worse is coming.
I don’t think I have the strength to hold on anymore, and all hope left me after the last tidal wave dragged me under.
Erin is a born Chicagoan who decided to state hop a bit, given she works from home. She currently resides in Georgia with her pup, Lord Vader Flynn. With an eclectic and addictive personality, there isn’t much that doesn’t interest her or she won’t pour herself into if it catches her fancy. She has always been interested in the darker aspects of life and mythologies—especially vampires, shifters, the occult, and anything paranormal.
To date, she has published more paranormal books than she can keep up with the characters for, in different genres with dedicated readers who await each release to her numerous series under any of the three Flynn names she writes.
Does Neldor ACTUALLY have the ability to be likable?!!
I’m going to preface this with two things: 1) I purchase every single book in this series as soon as it’s released because the series as a whole is wonderful. 2)This won’t be a fluffy review to try an convince readers to read the series because if you’re reading this review then you should already know it’s worth it!!
Real quick tho: the redundancy is real 🥴. “I held up a finger/hand” is said AT LEAST 14 times. And it’s usually connected to some phrase resembling ‘when he/she opened his/her mouth to blast me’. This was one of my major issues with the last book and has unfortunately rolled over to this book. Also, ‘You could hear a fly fart’ is said so much that it really loses its dramatic flare.
👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼 Now, most of this review will be about one specific thing that really irked me about this book.
~ I love the strong, witty FMC that Tamsin has always been, but lately, over the last 3 or 4ish books it feels like, the scenes when she’s taking a dominant stand against what (I guess) is supposed to be female oppression are taken too far. Most of my issues with this are when she disagrees or gets into an argument with one of her MATES. •It’s really not fun to read about Tamsin verbally bashing a mate, or multiple mates, when through the entire series we’ve grown to like, or in most cases LOVE, them and their dedication to Tamsin. Because of this, these scenes when Tamsin overreacts and/or assumes the worst about her mates without allowing them to explain, she ends up looking VERY petty and Id even go as far as saying she gaslights them. •She immediately resorts to being the victim and gets unreasonably defensive. Then that turns into her mates completely abandoning their former line of thought while they begin to apologize profusely and beg her forgiveness. Its ridiculously unhealthy, utterly ridiculous, and honestly kind of gross.
For example: &no spoiler content. ~One particular scene Tamsin tells Dean White that she “loses just fine”, whether it be friendly friendly competition or otherwise. Darby, yes sweet sweet loving loyal Darby, simply snorts at that and quickly follows it up by saying “yes well, you say that because you never actually lose, agra” and apparently that makes her “furious” 🙄😒. She starts pointing out all the times she was fine losing to him in scrabble and jeopardy, and whatever else in such a rude and nasty manner, yet Darby immediately starts telling her she’s right and he’s sorry 🙄🙄🙄. He tries to reach for her and she steps away, which makes him “flinch”, and then she tells him “good luck getting laid ANYTIME soon.” Like are you serious? Are couples not allowed to have a difference of opinion? So he thinks she wins so much that she may not have an accurate representation of how she acts when she loses? So what? That sounds like a hell of a compliment to me‼️ She goes on to whine about how she wasn’t trying to be a baby or blow anything out of proportion, but that it really “hurt her feelings that he had this opinion of her” 🙄. I seriously can’t roll my eyes enough at these sort of scenes. She’s always talking about how she’s quick to admit she’s not perfect.. well neither is anyone else! And MAYBE, just MAYBE, you might have taken things out of context and assumed just a little too much. She even points out that he seemed nervous to even say that to her!!! Why do we want mates that are afraid to say certain things around her?!? That leaves no room for constructive criticism. That’s not the kind of romantic relationships I’m trying to read about. I understand there needs to be issues and drama in order to keep us interested, but not at the cost of her mates backbone. She’s petty af to Darby and continuously dismissive and demeaning to Lucca. I understand Tamsin has trauma and ptsd hang ups… but I feel like it’s starting to do more harm than good to the storyline. It doesn’t add up that she can be insanely smart when dealing with arguments with other characters throughout the book, but she ends up being a complete idiot in her relationships.
GOOD NEWS IS‼️‼️‼️—> We FINALLY get more Hudson in this book, which I am allllllllll the way here for!! It’s beautiful to read and honestly one of my favorite parts of this book. In addition, there are a lot of wonderful interactions with the hobgoblin children and even the fae dogs. I LOVE the scenes with Chief 😍😍😍
OH and I’m kind of rooting for Neldor to become more than platonic with Tamsin at some point in this series 🤔. Crazy, i know😳
Brace yourself for that ending tho!! I think things are REALLY about to amp up 😱
I think I've lost track of how many times I've read this series. And I'm not just saying that. I'll like kindle could keep track of how many times I've lived through Tamsins ups and downs, it'd have to be well over 50...yeah, 50 at the very least.
So, please believe me when I say this book has been everything I've been waiting for and more. The trauma we've all experienced reading this series is very real and something I love. This series is so real and you truly feel everything she's going through. Erin is an amazing writer! I'm an avid reader and can easily read 2-5 books a day with how fast I can read. Erin's books may be based in fantasy, but her characters are absolutely rooted in real like. That experience and live through what would really happen. She doesn't shy away from the grit, pain and joy.
In this book, we finally get the wins we've been waiting for! I will not spoil it! A true fan, who has endured all the pain and happiness of 10 books, should experience when reading this one without any preconceived notions. It will be well worth it!
On a side note. Erin, I'm so sorry you lost your friend to covid. I've lost friends and family for the same reason. I just got my first shot however I had a severe anaflactic reaction to it...its been a month and I'm finally over the pneumonia but am still dealing with the other issues it caused. Stay strong! I read this book in 3 hours and it was the best 3 hours I've had in a month. I'm now going to reread the entire series again lol then jump into Team Inez. Don't stop writing! You're books make the world better and gives light, courage and strength to those who read it.
This is the 11th book in a continuing series. You need to read the preceding books in order to understand this one, starting with book 1, Upended Life.
This is one of my favourite Erin R Flynn series, and I think I’m not alone in that. I don’t like academy books so much these days because I overdosed on them when they first became the ‘hot’ trope. This is one of the few series I’ve kept on reading and I think it’s because the academy part of the story is more the background than the main point, especially as it is as university the characters attend rather than a high school, and therefore the students are adults.
This book essentially deals with the incredible amounts of pressure placed on Tamsin’s shoulders. She has pressure from all sides as she tries to free more fairies and at the same time keep them hidden from the supes as they gain an understanding of the world they have woken up to after a 20-year nap in Fairy. The pressure she is under at school and from the councils is growing exponentially and at the same time, she is continuing to fight for equality and justice in both the supe and the human world.
Tamsin spends a lot of this book in tears. She is reaching breaking point, especially with how disappointed she is with the fairies, in particular the Elders and Ancients. As always she can’t be completely happy with all her lovers/mates. There is always one! Apart from the one causing problems her other lovers/mates have been supportive and loving and seem to have finally found a way to try and provide Tamsin with what she needs. She is also coming to a tentative truce with Neldor, aka The Prince of Darkness. I like that this author allows her characters to develop and change in both positive and negative ways. This happens in real life and whilst it is nice and tidy if a character’s emotions and behaviours develop in a straight line, in real life that line dips and soars as triumphs and tribulations affect who we are.
A lot happens in this book, apart from Tams being pushed to breaking point and we see a lot more of the fairies, meeting more individuals. This feels like an important book in the series and is definitely a turning point in the plot. I can’t wait to see what comes next, I’m sure it’s going to be good!
3.5 stars I still like this series, now after Mel, Izzy gets less and less page time. Don't like that. Also her relationships are not stable. Two are set. Two others are ups and downs...
I seriously really don't care what others feel or think about this series, because I'm a Tamsin Vale fan... That is my girl, cause she knows how to write checks and can cash them! She's a true heroine of this series in every way! Now she's figuring it out that she don't have to kick ass on her own anymore and have more people in her life that has her back! I'm so happy for her right now!
On a personal note to the author: Erin, I'm so sorry you're dealing with the loss of your friend because of Covid. You have my deepest sympathy and condolences and I do hope you find some type of peace and comfort during your time of this precious loss..
I'm so happy that the story made a new start! I was so bored reading the last five books🙄 It was always the same sequences: food stuffing, Tamsin arguing with her mates, plotting and lecturing sexist villains, etc. FINALLY! In this book, there was something new! In fact, a LOT happened and it's very promising for the next volumes and the storyline! 😊 Good job👍🏼
I truly love all Tamsin's trials and tribulations.
I did not know or understand that I was being emotionally abused until I read these books. I pushed back because I had the words to use from Tamsin. It was not easy and it is not over by a long shot. But because I now have the words from these books to help me, I can get back on my feet and fight! Thank you for writing these amazing books. will read them over and over again . That are just that good. Blessing be upon you.
Okay this one was okay with the syntax issues (still present but not constant). Imma be honest I was starting to not root for Tamsin after the last book, this authors does something I never realized was a pet peeve of mine: the characters put caveats on everything they say, pre-explain themselves, pre-fix issues, and will put moral judgements on emotions. I don’t know if I’m explaining this well but okay here is a good example: Tamsin will be upset about something and cry, then she will say “sorry I’m crying because I’m upset not to try to emotionally manipulate people, I hate people who cry because they just do it to make people feel bad for them but I’m not like them” and then whoever is like: “oh I know Tamsin you would never cry to manipulate me, people like that are the worst they just show emotion so people do what they want.” 🧐 what!?Anyway, this quality (in Tamsin especially) was starting to grate on my nerves when it accompanied her overly long pontification sessions.
Ha now I’m giving overly long explanations. All that to say, I still enjoyed this book. A lot of things happened plot wise, sometimes so quickly that I was getting whiplash, whereas the previous books were slower paced. I think there is a happy medium there that would fee perfect.
Good lord the stuff with Lucca! Or the not stuff with him. That is so far on the backburner. Woof. Or should I say….grr bear sound.
The fade to black sex scenes were killing me. I’m here for the RH spiciness + plot please. I need both to be happy. We’ve got the plot in spades. Need the spice. Thanks!
4.5🌟Freaking finally!! So glad the world found out she’s a fairy and so many of the stupid people got taken in and got their due justice! 😌 Excited to see how all this change is going to come about with her newly revealed status 👑
I love her relationship with her three men. Can’t wait for Darby to have that soul mate connection like she has with Hunter and Julian!! I love him so much! 😍 She really needs to finally sever the connection with Lucca. Them tryna make it work just cuz they’re mates is not right for either of them.
I’m really starting to like Neldor more and more as the series progresses. He’s been having a pretty good redemption arc. He really sees Tamsin in a way others do not. I hope she comes to trust him more (and that he’s worthy of it) so that their comfortable aquaintance really blossoms into a friendship. We only got small snippets of her relationship with Lageos in this installment but I love that he supports her and is there for her despite his own grief. I love all of their father daughter moments 🥲 That last scene was just so beautiful 😭
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I really enjoyed this installment. I will admit I was worried in the beginning because as much as I enjoyed book 10, I wasn't looking forward to being left again with the sadness and heaviness I felt after reading it. Luckily, that didn't happen. I don't want to spoil anything so I will just say that I loved the plot progression and can't wait to "see" what happens next!
Finally! I was about to give up on this series because of the last couple of book. I was getting disappointed on how slow the series was going. But this book is back on track. I gotta say, the first half of the book, I was disappointed. I appreciate the other side of Tamsin the author showed. The fact that she was so close to her breaking point, it made her seem more real and less perfect. But the first 40% of the book was describing her doing food challenges around the world (which was so boring for me and I simply skipped all of it) or her ranting to the councils. And the rants from Tams…I can’t stand it. No matter how important you are, no matter how right you are. Nobody would just stand there and listen to someone rant like this. Specially where a whole society as one does not agree to what you are preaching. Come on!!! Even when she is doing a press conference she is ranting!! This has to change!!! Please!
I love that the secret is out and that she has more support now to deal with the crazy. I just wish she would stop calling the criminals and corrupt leaders “monsters” all the time. Sounds like such a childish word to use. There are other repetitive phrases that the author uses that has to go. You have used and abused those phrases. Please stop. Those of us that have been paying attention, know what I am talking about.
Luckily the second half of the book got me hocked and I was able to finish it. I love that Hudson made a bigger appearance on this book. I love that their relationship is growing and progressing. I am sick and tired of Lucca and their relationship or lack of. I never liked him from day one. Their relationship has always been superficial and only sexual in my option. They are not true mates and I wish they would just call it quits. However, I do hope that things keep progressing with Tams and Neldor. I think he has been redeeming himself lately and I think they would be a better match than her and Lucca.
I also like that we saw more of Izzy and Chief. I miss the friendships and I hope it shows up more on the future books.
The ending was very emotional and a great surprise. I love her relationship with her dad. I hope the author keeps the momentum of the second half of this book for the future book. I do think that 24 books for this series is WAY too many and hopefully she will revise this.
Please note the following review encompasses books 7 through 12 of the SERIES. As each book depends on the prior books, I am not reviewing each individually to cut down on repetition. Following this review, I will be reviewing the series in batches of 5, with a final end review of the series as a whole.
As always, I will endeavor to minimize spoilers, but please read at your own risk.
OH.MY.GODDESS.
I am practically speechless right now. I just closed my Kindle on that wicked relationship cliffhanger at the end of book 7, and my better half (at least according to him) is laughing at me for looking like a fish with my mouth opening and closing. (He's a real peach 🍑, 😆)
So far, I can honestly say that I have never read anything like Artemis University before. It is one of a kind, which honestly makes me a little sad, because it is so freakin amazing. It is nonstop. Full out. Action, coming of age, romantic relationship drama, friendship makers and breakers, enemies to lovers, heiress to the empire ... I could go on except I can't find the words. This series has everything you could want. Hot and steamy. Warm and domestic. Plus some swashbuckling and tight pants. It is almost the Princess Bride of romance series.
Well, if Buttercup was really a Fairy, and there were multiple Wesleys, some of whom are quite dark on the morally gray scale. The R.O.U.S.'s easily could translate to the assorted corrupt elders and councils, provided they could survive and even thrive away from the Fire Swamp ....
I am getting way off track. Anywho, there is a metric frakton that happens in these 5 books, but I am not going into details. No spoilers, remember? Just trust me. Have someone hold your beer and download the first book. It feels like a crazy leap, but you will love every moment of learning to fly.
However, before I go, I do want to add a content warning of sorts because mental health matters. Contained in the story so far, you will find past trauma (physically, emotionally, and smexually.) There are forced abductions, bullying outside of the harem, references to ongoing trafficking, violence, attempted forced mating and SA, intimate partner abuse, family disconnect and related trauma from both sides, and discussion of forced breeding. Please know your limits and read responsibly.
Based on the author’s comments online, I was sure this would be the last of her books that I read. There issues with edits and wording are still there. There are still explanations and connections that make no sense. But the end result is still the same. Tamsin still rants and raves and goes on for long periods of time like people would actually stand there for that type of thing. She continues to show her immature attitude in the things that she says. There was however, less grandstanding. There was actual interaction between characters. The Lucca interactions were confusing. Some made sense, others didn’t. The author is clearly trying to show dissent but the connections are missed. All that being said, there was definite story and plot progression in this offering. Because of this book, I’m not ready to give up yet. She still has a lot of work to do. There are many questions that continue to make little appearances. Like how have we truly avoided the underground from coming for Tamsin as a main offender after 11 books. But it fits the story theme. So hopefully those questions will continue to be answered. I do feel that this effort was not as rushed as the last one. I also see the author in Tamsin. She does not take criticism well even if it is constructive. You are extremely talented. Please take your time and don’t rush because unfortunately your work suffers. This is true of everyone. Do not let yourself feel pressured to stick to a specific timeline. It shows in your work when you take your time. I am still not sure I will make it to 25 books but I am definitely not giving up yet.
Gonna get real personal for a sec… I’ve got mad MDD and haven’t really been seeing the point in not un-aliving myself lately, but I really connected with Tams in this book & her struggles with depression and such. It’s a huge balm on my heart, so thank you.
ANYWAY. So much of this book was so satisfying, I’m loving that Tams gets to flex on some baddies and the number of people in this book that got punched? Phenomenal. The Lucca thing is killing me slowly. Neldor tho? Unf, love him. Darby, Hudson and Julian? Gah! I can’t even with those guys, it hurts they’re not real and not mine lol All of Tamsin’s other friends and allies? Goodness, they’re wonderful.
I can’t wait to see what else is in store for this series, but I’m pressed to know exactly how much is left to go :( I’m so not ready to leave this world behind, I just wanna live in it forever.
I love and hate how ‘realistic’ this series is when it comes to dealing with our relationships (friends, lovers, etc) and how sometimes even the best ones end and can’t be fixed- cuz yeah, truth hurts but I don’t expect my HEA’s to be realistic when I read fiction, I want love to transcend everything- specifically for two of Tams’ relationships that seem to be unfixable. It sucks. And hurts. (Maybe because I’m dealing with a pretty recent and nasty heartbreak with someone I’ve known and loved for a near decade (it’s almost my first romantic heartbreak ever sooo yeah, ouch). But damn I do appreciate the realness and relatability. I can’t wait to read more of this and more of this author!
My Thoughts The world blows up in this book. There are several showdowns and several resolutions. We pick up from a project for the class Tamsin was forced into and it is a miserable affair that ends with some Tamsin flair. There's a big challenge that she's able to make a joke out of. There are a lot of events requiring clean up that are pretty significant.
About the Characters Tamsin deals with yet more crap than usual and does so with a level head. I love all her men and Lucca has a much smaller part in her life. Neldor is interesting and despite how things started with him, he might be a decent guy after all. Lageos is disappointingly scarce as he lets himself grieve for both his mate and all the time he lost with Tamsin.
Things I Liked I always enjoy Tamsin's food challenges and now there's a bit of a bonding element to them. I loved Tamsin's vision for the future of Faerie. My favorite part was a big surprise in the book, so I can't even get into it, but man was it a huge dramatic moment.
Thing I Didn't Like I hate to say it, but I really don't like Lucca and am actually glad he's less of a presence lately. I don't much like how hard Tamsin's had to struggle amongst her own people.
More Thoughts Many things are revealed and it was a scramble to deal with it all, but ultimately it was managed well. The end was both mildly confusing, a bit infuriating, and utterly heartbreaking.
Does it standalone? Absolutely not.
Bottom Line Big things go down and everybody is forced to deal for better or worse. A lot of change is in store for the next book.
Once again I have cried buckets of tears with Tamsin. From mates who are narcissistic and only capable of seeing his needs to some people who are in her inner circle *even if it’s in peripheral* she feels like she is constantly being put into situations that pull at her very soul. Tamsin goes through emotional trauma that finally does the very thing that she has been so successful in avoiding….she breaks!
But if we have learned anything about Tamsin it’s her ability to go through unbelievable pain and emotional trauma, to get past people’s selfish need to control her and take over everything that she has worked so hard to accomplish.
So much action and secrets are uncovered in this next book in the series, I was laughing one moment and crying the next, I was cheering for her and her mates, for those from her support team who only wants what’s best for her. I also don’t want to bury Neldor as much as I used to…🤷🏻♀️ So there’s that.
So many questions are answered in this next book of the series! I don’t want to put any spoilers in the review, I will say that this is definitely a MUST read!
If you love a strong FMC who believes that no sacrifice is to big for those she loves or is called to protect, then this is the book/series for you!

Tamsin is such a strong women. I loved seeing her struggles and seeing her never give up. It really seems as she is maturing. I am so glad that she wasn't constantly fighting with her men over things beyond ridiculous. It may not be ridiculous to everyone else but I was getting so tired of her always fighting with her men and it lasting almost the entire books and just wouldn't forgive them. I am sad her and Lucca aren't a thing and it seems won't be. I wish they would have made up. Neldor, don't even get me started. I swear if her dad saw the bond, I'm going to be so angry. I don't think what he did is forgivable. Give her a better fairy mate and one is actually deserving of her, don't get me wrong, I like that he's grown so much and seems to really be helping her but I just can't get over what he has said and done when they first met. Tamsin taking out all the bad guys and seeing her get a break and having other people step up had all the food feels. She deserves to get that break. I won't say the reason because it's something I think should be a surprise incase anyone reads this early like I do sometimes and I don't want to ruin it. I'll end there. I want to say more but I don't want to spoil too much. I will say this redeemed itself to me after the last book.
Wow. Im blown away. Finished it in less than a day. And its sooo worth it except now i need book 12. I am so happy some things are going Tamsins way. Im glad things seem to be a little.more clear with how the mates issue is going. Im nervous about the new.additional worry that was brought up towards the end. The end was also emotional so.i have a feeling the beginning of the next book will be. But there was so many wins in this.book its hard to be super sad just yet. I am SO happy with this book and how so many of the hardships have been or are being wrapped up buy also nervous with some of the new hardships that are popping up or becoming more serious. And just so relieved that I got to read this amazing work after waiting since the day artemis 11 was released. Until book 12 i will reread this and the other artemis books and somw.of erins other series. Thank you for this erin. It made.my heart happy but a request for next book....? More sexy times with Tamsins mates and tamsin (if things have settled at least a little lol)😜
This is one of my favorite series. Even though I have KU membership, I buy every book of as soon as it is released (if I don’t catch the pre-order)
This book was very emotional and hard not to feel the pain Tamsin is going through. But it is one of my favorites to finally see them give some of the corrupt get their “rewards”.
I love how no matter what happens, Tamsin has not changed her outlook. She learns and evolves but at the core she is still the same person they found.
People have complained about this series being so long and its the same stuff. But as an avid reader who always starts over at book one for each release. It makes a big difference to see that while things do happen, big things at times, the story doesn’t lessen and the reveals are either tear jerkers or makes you laugh out!
This is the book we've been waiting for! It started out in a way that felt it was going to be of a similar vein to the last few, but then about halfway through, omg!!! I can't say anything or I'll give it away, but it was absolutely brilliant and it just kept getting better and better! I was on the edge of my seat cheering all the way through! I love that Izzy was back in here more, the interactions between her and Tamszin were wonderful, having all the boys there in the way they were was fantastic. Erin listened to her readers and it was really clear that she did as there were less rants and more interaction with characters we've not heard from for awhile. I loved the interactions with the far dogs, they were hilarious :) and touching. Same with the hobgoblins as well. I loved the whole book!
I'm sorry you lost your friend to covid Erin, you must be heartbroken. Thank you for continuing to write this series through your grief.
Just thought I'd say that right up front, since Erin asked.... Now to other bizness! I am truly loving this series, ESPECIALLY with the fairies out (omigawd, the scene where Tamsin chews Chief out? ABSOLUTELY hysterical!!) And now a moment just for me....because i AM the kind of crazy that talks to fictional characters....also houseplants. Melanie Rothchild, WHAT Were You THINKING?! Your best friend makes a hard decision, a decision that saves your life; Hell, saves BOTH of your lives, and all you can see is your poor, pathetic 'i got me feelings hurted'. I am so surprised that one of your parents, or the Vogels , hasn't kicked your tail up between your freaking ears. I would have, and you being a dragon would have just given me a bigger damn target to kick! SHAME ON YOU! OK, all better now.....mostly. Seriously folks, this is well worth buying, and a true delight to read!
I have loved reading this series! So sad it’s not finished yet because I totally can’t wait for Tamsin’s full happily ever after. Most of the time when a series is longer than 4 or 5 books I lose interest because I feel like it’s too much of the same stuff dragging the series out. That feeling didn’t hit me at all until about book 10 and then it was short lived. I love Tamsin and the journey we get to take with her throughout this. Her growth and friendships, and her clarity in viewing the world around her make this story amazing. I felt the intro to book 18 was really confusing. I had to go back and double check that I hadn’t skipped a book. There’s a bit of minor editing that would really make the reading so much better. Missing words and improper (or no) use of commas were the biggest culprits, but it was still worth reading. As much as I loved it this book isn’t for everyone. There’s plenty of language, sex, and some violence that would be disturbing to some.
I read it in one sitting, and I am in awe of the depth the author has shown us all in that everyone has a breaking point, but what matters most is that we get up and try again. My soul cried for Tamsin and her suffering, and the reality of the fairy ancients and elders was as disturbing as that of the corrupt councils. Fry them all I say, reboot all of Fairy, it's what her mother gave her life for.
Ms Flynn, my sincerest condolences on your loss and please know that you have more support out here, so many of us care, this world is magical and it's good to see not all is perfect, as I know that to be untrue. So thank you, and please keep writing and know that there are many who love you and support you!
As Tamsin says "Godsdamnit" I can't handle all these emotions!
Another great chapter in the life of Tamsin! My heart keeps telling me to get off this emotional roller coaster but my head says "Suck it up! This story is way too good to give up now! Besides you love the characters and all their ups, downs, rounds and rounds!" Yeah. My head is right! I have to say though, I was thinking something way different as to what was prompting the warning given to Tamsin! I thought it was given for a purely personal reason. So I am sitting here wishing we had 2 (or 10!) More books completed! I hate waiting! 11 books in 7 days - not too bad! Its because of Erin's writing of course! Jump on this series aSAP?
I’m not afraid to say that this is an amazing heart wrenching loving story and Erin makes you want to reach in and help Tamsin. I have waited so long to continue read more of Tamsin’s story, and Erin has made it so worth waiting for! Thank you Erin for writing such wonderful characters and amazing storyline. So much of this story makes you think how people are treated in this day and age and how we wished for a champion like Tamsin. I love her boyfriends and how they make mistakes but know they need to change if they want to keep Tamsin in their lives. Thank you Erin for writing, and I look forward to reading more of Tamsin’s story as well as other stories from you!
As an avid reader, one finds themselves leaning towards a few authors that can bring out emotions and bring something different to the table. Erin is one of those authors. In my experience, sadness, empathy, and humor make a good book great. Time and time again, Erin has shown she is not only a wordsmith of epic proportions but has a proper understanding of who we are as humans. After reading the eleventh book in this series, and it is by far one of the best ones she has written to date. I look forward to seeing where this tale will go in the next book as I know many others will too.
I love pretty much everything written by Erin Flynn and this one is another great example of her wonderful storylines and well developed characters. Tamsin has grown so much and her men have evolved into such great support this storyline gets better and better. Tams finally gets some closure and help with all the madness. This series is a definite keeper and well worth the purchase. Tamsin’s men fully support her, the storyline is well paced and very well written. The sexy times are hot and so is the love and support from all her friends. Great job keep them coming and I can’t wait for the next one.
I loved this series until around Book 8. Then I really, really struggled. I hated the continued toxicity within the harem, I hated Tams, and I felt like it was getting to be too much to continue reading.
This one? We have the groove back. I loved this one. This was one of the most relatable of any of the books. The emotions were raw and real. The character development is really making headway. I see good things for this series from here on out and I’m pumped.
I still dislike the italics, but I almost can’t imagine the series without them now. It would make the book feel naked. That’s my only complaint for this book.
