Larissa Carpenter … trying to fly under the radar she goes by L.C., though being a person of interest in not one, but TWO suspicious deaths isn’t exactly flying under the radar! FBI Special Agent Amber Hoffner … her last visit to Coventry Beach ended with her killing the man who shot her... talk about tangled webs! Coventry Beach Police Detective Angela Murdoch … it falls to her to figure out the who’s and why’s but with “Lust and Distrust” running rampant … it could take a miracle or three! Brilliantly and beautifully narrated by the author, this first class police procedural grabbed my attention and held it throughout! Five fantastic stars! I really enjoyed this one!

Loved the narration of Darlene Duncan, you can hear and feel, the action and mystry.

Larissa hasn’t found life in the small beach town Coventry Beach, has not provide the tranquillity she expected. She goes as LC as she does not want people in town to know that she’s the Larissa Carpenter who won one of the state’s largest lottery jackpots.
LC is a person of interest in two murder cases, one of which still hasn’t been solve. Her attraction to Detective Angela Murdoch and the feeling that she’s being followed are the other disconcerting issues.

There were surprising twists and turns in this who-done-it mystery. I enjoyed the writing. I felt the narration was slow and needed more energy.
