NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLING AUTHOR OF UGLY AND MISTRUST
I’m a two-time New York Times bestselling author for my stand-alone books Ugly and Mistrust. To date I’ve published over 30 books! I’m first generation Australian born and live in Sydney with my husband, two daughters and my rescue-dog, Kingston! I love to write stories to connect my readers to my strong, courageous characters…with some spice sprinkled between the pages. The characters I write about can pop into my mind anytime and anywhere. From the shower, to washing dishes, playing with my puppy or even in my dreams. My characters can sometimes be intrusive, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you for taking this journey with me and I truly hope you love reading my stories as much as I love writing them.
Best thing about this series is the Morgan family. We’re Morgan and a Morgan never leave a man behind. We are now on the baby of the family, Rhett. I love how firefighting is in their blood. Great grandfather, grandfather and father were all firefighter, that’s quite a legacy. Rhett has always had a thing for Dani when they were in school but another guy grab his chance and Rhett stood back and let it happen saying they were more suited. Well he was wrong, guy turned out to be a jerk. Now he’s hesitant to make a move even though everyone can see the attraction. Dani and Rhett have quite a few bumps in the road. I hope there’s another book because the ending was unsatisfactory to me. I feel like their story wasn’t finished.
Her parents abandoned her at sixteen leaving her with a hundred dollars.
Dani and Rhett are babies at twenty-two and twenty-three, I have shoes that are older than these two. They learn a harsh lesson that condoms are only eighty-five percent effective and reliable.
Shocked and panicked when she tells him that she’s pregnant, he overreacted by accusing her of cheating on him, and trying to trap him into supporting another man’s child.
But that's just mean! There are so many things I still want to know!!! The story was great as always and I'm hoping there will be answers in Hope River Christmas. A definite recommend of the series!
This author has so much talent but the “Morgan brothers” series was a let down. The character really had very little connection other than rather raunchy sex scenes that were not at all a turn on and the internal and external sexual dialog was seriously OVERKILL. In Rhett and Alec both guys are absolutely jerks and far from lovable, they are barely even likable. There behavior towards their “love interest” is borderline abusive and shallow at best. I’m just so disappointed. When I started reading the authors books I started with ‘The Gift’ and was hooked. The playful dancing around an unlikely relationship and adorable flirtatious behavior with those characters was fantastic. You got to know them. You felt what they felt. Related to them and could enjoy their quirks and sense of humor. These two series seem like they are written by two completely different authors. Bring back the Margaret McHeyzer that wrote “The Gift” and “The Curse” series. The shallow smutty unrelatable relationships in “The Morgan”series are so beneath her talent to capture her audience and keep them coming back for more … “Dean” was ok…but I’m sad that I could not confidently recommend these books to another reader. If I’d read this series first I would not have continued reading this authors work further. And I would have missed out on her truly undeniable talent.
Do I like Rhett or don’t I….I’m not sure. He can certainly be an ass. I did love this story, I just really felt like slapping Rhett across the head a few times but his mother managed that for me😆
I was certainly happy Rhett and Dani finally found their way to each other after so long and reading Rhett’s confession to Dani…wth🫢 I was totally not expecting that.
Like a typical Margaret book this was a great story that kept you wanting more.
I loved the Morgan family, I loved Pen, I really loved being back in Hope River. I loved their family bond and protectiveness over each other. I want to be a Morgan🥰
Have to say out of all the books i loved this one! Had so much emotion in it i fell inlove reading this book! All these books with the Morgan Brothers though was worth the read! I love the comedy in it as well as love and sadness. a must read
Author really pushes the friendship with Rhett and Pen. Nothing wrong with two people have a close relationship BUT theirs is just plain weird and over the top
I read all 3 of the Morgan Brothers books and they were all amazing! Rhett and Dani brought all my emotions to the surface. They were meant for each other and watching them battle through their personal battles and emotions grabbed my heart from start to finish. Amazing adventure!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the Morgan Brothers series, with Rhett being the final instalment in this trilogy. Each book had their own battles, their own loves, their own heart stopping moments and their own a$$hole moments but that just made me love them more.
They love fiercely, they protect to the end and they come together as one. There were a lot of OMG moments throughout the series, but it was all wrapped up nicely in this final instalment.
