I really enjoyed this book. Didn't agree with a few thoughts but that's OK. I did find some new thoughts too. The later chapters were quite amazing with advice and topics not discussed elsewhere that I've found. If you care about prophecy and current times, read this book.

Excellent read. Does history repeat itself or is it Satan’s playbook that he keeps using over and over for every generation? The parallels to what is going on in America to Biblical history is fascinating. Key takeaways included advice for the persecuted church, and exhortation to be in constant prayer.

Perry Stone covers many current events in this new book and does a fantastic job of comparing the prophetic parallels in the Bible to these current events. The church is entering a new phase in the world where persecution and an attack on religious freedom is beginning to attempt to interfere with the gospel going forth. We must not be ignorant of the enemy’s schemes in these last days before the Rapture and Tribulation begin. This book will help you to understand the spirits behind the events we see on the news, the plans for a global reset and how it may impact Christians in the coming days, and how prophetic timelines are beginning to play out right in front of our eyes. Of particular interest to me were the chapters on “Going Underground: The Secret Strategies of Oppressed People” and the chapter “Has America Entered Her Fullness Of Time?” We see the underground and persecuted church throughout the New Testament. We may be entering a season like they lived through where the age of grace is quickly closing. This idea of the fullness of time and the cup of wrath being full is also displayed throughout the Old and New Testaments. Our God is so patient and loving, but He is also Righteous and Holy and he has set times determined for how much he will put up with before His Judgement must come. I highly recommend everyone read this book and prepare for what lies ahead.

While I appreciate and admire Perry Stone and much of his teaching and writing, I found the book to be very middle-of-the-pack. While there are many interesting tidbits, too much of the book is spent re-litigating political events and at times practicing incredulous hermeneutical comparisons with our modern age. This book lacked the scholarship and care that I have come to expect from Pastor Stone. Too many times it seemed to be more a string of superficial teasers rather than a serious in-depth discussion worthy of such a heavy topic.

Definitely NOT "the most important prophetic document in print in recent years!" I rarely if ever pick up a book from any mainstream Christian author, but I was at my parents with nothing to read and found this lying around so I picked it up--took me a while to work my way through it. While there's some good content, 95% of the factual material will be nothing revelatory to the well-informed person. But in typical "modern apostle" (I've found maybe one self-proclaimed modern prophet that I think potentially merits the title — there are many deceived and deceivers) style, Perry makes dubious speculations and presents them as settled prophecy. Yet apparently he believes Jesus is God and that Con-vid was a real pandemic. Those errors in knowledge alone disqualify him. In the final pages he goes off on some wild, extra-biblical (not supported anywhere in scripture), gossipy story about Noah and Canaan that should never have been put to paper. I'm not sure why I finished the book other than I don't like to abandon a book halfway unless it's just too painful to read, as it was at the very end. Give this book a pass and search for something else.

a lot of misinformation

It states that something occurred before the civil war and gives the date of 1869 which if there are people who know about history is clearly four years after the civil war. The book also declares that Peter was be headed when he was obviously crucified upside down. So please check your facts before publishing. I only read half of the book because it’s terrible. I’m surprised because Perry Stone usually puts out fantastic material. I’m so disappointed. Please correct all mistakes and republish thank you and God bless all concerned.

Excellent prophetic description of the days in which we live. There can be no doubt that Jesus is about to return. How life will continue to degenerate under the liberal, progressive demonic forces is yet to be determined. But the Faithful shall continue to stand - and will be blessed.

Short read but very good

Seldom do I rate readings. In this particular instance I felt compelled because the author appears to analyze and delineate intricate information in any easy read.

Stone uses biblical imagery and history to talk about where America has been heading for a while. But now, some people are trying to reset America to a completely different vision than its forefathers. this book will make you think about where we are headed and what our goals are.

Insightful

A good synopsis of the evils plaguing America. The author describes where this country is going and how and why we are close to "the fullness of time".

This was a difficult read. Even while I consider myself to be a Believer and a Christian, the contrarian in me has long remained a skeptic of prophetical books and the people who claim such mantels with authority.

While the prophetic elements, seem a bit suspect, Perry Stone’s book does provide a very interesting perspective into the eschatological beliefs of a number of American Christians, and their world view. The framework that gets created posits America as a consequential, albeit wayward Nation, that needs to find its moral compass. I don’t disagree with this but I’d hardly call this prophetic.

The first major critique I can offer is that the prophecies made seem strikingly vague to the point where nearly any major world event can fit the bill, rendering them infallible by default. It is one matter to say that xy and z will occur on a certain day, date and time, it’s another thing simply to say that an event will occur. The latter seems to be a prophecy that is short on specifics as to preclude anyone from testing the veracity of the statement. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence to quote the late Carl Sagan, and I just didn’t see the evidence that would give me pause to consider the claims more seriously.

Second, it strikes me that in “prophetic circles” ministers and lay leaders alike have been heralding the “American Apocalypse,” for generations. And yet, here we are lo these many years later, and America still finds herself poised to lead in global affairs. While the Russian threat in Eastern Europe certainly is unsettling, it does not give me reason to believe that the end is nigh.

My personal view of the matter is that God has given Believers plenty of work to do with the commands to love God and love others as to keep us all busy for a lifetime. Speculations about the end of days while interesting are just a distraction from the things that God has actually called Believers to do.

Somewhat recommended.
