Debts. Scavenger hunt. Goals. As a participant in an intergalactic scavenger hunt with a large prize, Suni knew she needed all her focus to be on winning the purse that would set her family free of their lifelong debts. What she didn't expect was the tall, dangerous stranger and his friends who requested an emergency landing on her spaceship. Agreeing changed the course of her heart…and she liked it. Suni knows what’s at stake if she deviates from her plan but how can she resist when Taun is all she thinks about?
Rebellion. Treason. Escape After a tumultuous escape and one risky space jump, Taun finds himself the unexpected guest of three quirky sisters and their father in desperate need of help. Recently branded as a traitor from the Cyborg Military Elite, helping Suni will provide the perfect cover while he searches for his missing brethren. Finding love was the last thing he'd imagined happening...but he’d fight any who sought to take it.
Taun and his crew strike an uneasy alliance with the trio. The Cyborgs provide protection against a former space pirate who has also joined the scavenger hunt, and in return, the Cyborgs can take refuge on The Renegade and look for other cyborgs who had escaped while also staying off Emperor Shui’s radar. Nothing seems to go as planned. Taun can’t focus on his duty with Suni in his presence and on his mind.
Can a feisty female he craves shake him from his mission to return home and free his family?
A.M. Griffin is a wife who rarely cooks, mother of three, dog owner (and sometimes dog owned), a daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She’s a hard worker whose two favorite outlets are reading and writing. She enjoys reading everything from mystery novels to historical romances and of course fantasy romance. She is a believer in the unbelievable, open to all possibilities from mermaids in our oceans and seas, angels in the skies and intelligent life forms in distant galaxies.
I wasn’t sure what I was getting into but I would gladly read the other authors connected with this story line and hope that A.M. Griffen continues writing about this group of misfits.
What a fun adventure! Griffin did a great job setting up this world and establishing these characters. I was hooked right from the start and raced through this book just to find out what would be happening next. There is plenty of fascinating world building, and a mission that will definitely prove to be interesting for any future books. If you're a fan of sci-fi, insta-love, strong-willed women and hot alpha men, then I definitely recommend you pick up this book and give it a read.
I'm so enjoying this series. I know each one is really it's own story and is loosely related by the events of the human\cyborg rebellion. I'm wondering if there will!I be more than 4 books in this series and will all the stories come together full circle to some kind of mind b!owing conclusion?! That being said in this tale several more cyborgs and a few human rebels make it off the exploding prison ship. Their vessel is damaged and they are rescued by a family on a scavenger hunt to earn enough credits to go home. This is when Taun and Suni meet. these two groups clash at first but they realize early on that they need each other to survive. Taun is a strong elite cyborg officer who wants to finish the emperor ,find his brethren and save his family he can't afford to get attached to a woman no matter how much he is drawn too the beautiful Suni. His people and his job must come first. Suni , is attracted to Taun from the minute she sees him . She feels a connection she has never felt for another when she's around him. Her attraction is so strong she worries it's clouding her judgement but can't help his she feels. While laying low the cyborgs begin to help with the scavenger hunt and danger fills many corners. It take serious problems to open the eyes of Suni and Taun . They realize that they need to grab on and hold on tightly to the !I've and passion they've found together and face any and all remaining challenges together. Excellent story highly recommend I'm looking forward to see what happens next in the series.💖🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥
I enjoyed this cyborg romance because of the cast of characters. It was full of humor and action. The steam was there, but only briefly and it only enhanced the story instead of holding it together. I really enjoyed that part especially,it was a good story and didn’t require loads of bedroom scenes to make it interesting. The ending surprised me the most and made me feel like there could be another story with this crew on the future.
So a group of Cyborgs escaped the prison transport in a small shuttle. 4 Cyborgs and 2 humans. A family of 2 women, 1 child, and their father rescued the damaged shuttle. There is a lot of distrust on both sides. After a scuffle with another group the Cyborgs and humans work together. Not really satisfied with the ending. A lot is left open. By
I really enjoyed this story and am looking forward to the next few. I’m a big AM Griffin fan, so it was no surprise. Hopefully we will get Vril, Raint and Zemas’ stories soon.
It’s the humans family more than the Cyborgs in this story, that are front and center. I like the balance though. I hope to see sequels for the other 3 Cyborgs as i find their dynamic with others and each other intriguing and interesting.
Some of the other books in this series were good so I decided to give this one a try, but at 80% I still just couldn't get into it. Too slow, the action is unexciting, and the FMC and MMC have no chemistry.
This was a super addition to the cyborg redemption series. I can't wait to read more in this series. If you enjoy reading futuristic sci-fi romance then you will love it.
