This is a wild start to a new series! This is a side step from the usual work we see from this author and it is everything!
We’ve all read stories with time travelers but have you read one where some of the population is born with the ability to travel back in time? Cuz I hadn’t. But now I have.
Romy is a Voyager - meaning she can jump back in time. She inherited this ability from her father and it showed itself on her 16th birthday as expected. The problem? Jumping is illegal - it’s been determined to be dangerous for more than just the jumper.
Gage has known Romy since she was a kid - that’s a perk of being her older brothers best friend. The problem? Romy’s family blames him for the death of her older brother. Oh and he’s a time keeper, meaning it’s his job to stop voyagers that insist on jumping. Oh and he’s in love with Romy and has been forever.
Dra.Ma. Alllllll the drama. It’s interesting to watch it all unfold and that cliffhanger ending has me anxiously awaiting more!

This is an intriguing idea that is not a typical time travelling story. The world created by the author is mysterious and filled with action and adventure. It is very cleverly worked together to keep the reader engaged from the first page all the way to the cliff hanger of an ending.
I am not always a fan of cliff hanger endings but this one really works. It leaves the reader excited to know more and the story is engaging enough that I can hardly wait to find out what happens next.
I really like Romy as a character she is loyal, stubborn and full of life. Gage is an interesting character who is just starting to discover not everything he knows/believes is what he thought it was. There are also some wonderful side characters as well.
This is the first book I have read by this author but it will not be the last.

I love time traveling stories, throw in mystery and adventures, you have me.
Romy is a wonderful character who lives her life. Gage is determined, but soon realizes things are not what they appear.
Great read that left me wanting to know what happened next.

Romy can jump through time and her goal is to save her brother. Gage is a timekeeper and his job is to stop people from jumping all the time.
