There were no physical wounds but her emotional scars. There were no visible enemies but her mental demons. There was no armor but her shielded confidence. There were no weapons but her poised demeanor. There were no warhorses, but she was no less than a queen. There were no medals awaiting but glory to be owned. There was no history waiting to be written but her past to be overridden. She embarked on a journey that demanded her to be strong and bold. She had no more direction than a voice calling from her soul to lead her upwards and on.
Vamshi Krishna spends most of his time writing - code or stories. Currently living in Bengaluru, he says he is a software engineer by chance and a writer by choice. Apart from writing, he reads a lot about cricket, love, women, and failure stories. He is also a fitness enthusiast and a huge fan of MS Dhoni and Jeff Bezos.
Hailing from a small town in Telangana, he says his four-year journey at IIT-BHU is the best time of his life. He firmly believes that every student, for at least a couple of years in his early 20s, should experience hostel life. He loves to write honest and relatable fiction based on women's emotions. Before this, he authored a national bestseller 'Draupadi - India's First Daughter.' And, 'Zero Not Out' was his debut fiction novel, a love story inspired by his real-life incidents (and accidents).
Naari stands to its title and I wasn’t expecting anything better than this from the author. After reading his book ‘Draupadi’, I was mesmerized by the intensity of emotions he put in the book. What was more fascinating is the fact that it was written by a Man. And since then his books are always on top is someone asked me to recommend books.
Some books are Mirror to your heart. And I will say, stories in Naari are something every female will relate to. For Every Woman is beautiful in itself and every story is a different struggle, a different journey in this world❤
The writing itself is beautiful and easy to understand. The stories some made me smile some made my eyes swell up, Being a girl myself I never realised how it is hard being one though I questioned few things and never did something I didn't like, and I'm again saddened that many dont have such "privilege".
I would recommend this to everyone and I'm gonna gift this to the people I cherish.
