Obviando que la portada no tiene ningún sentido, el capítulo con el flashback de Tsubakiri me ha parecido el mejor de todos los que llevo leídos. Se le da un gran desarrollo y hasta siento lástima por él, pobrecito. ¿Tengo un problema si empatizo más con los Momotaro que con los oni? Sí, sin duda, pero me da igual.

También ha florecido una amistad que sí o sí va a terminar en tragedia (otro cliché más en este manga, como si no hubiera suficientes). Por su parte, el colega de la mascarilla va adquiriendo más profundidad, lo cual me gusta y agradezco, y han aparecido dos nuevos husbandos dentro de la organización Momotaro, donde el tío obsesionado con la suerte representa mi espíritu animal (que no se muera 🤞).

Esta historia es muy simple y genérica, pero que va a dar mucho de sí, siempre y cuando el autor lo sepa aprovechar y se salga del canon e innove. Dependiendo de futuros personajes y sucesos, puede volverse muy buena.

It was extremely tempting to rate this volume a one star since my number one evil boy got his shit rocked and DIED, but alas I did not because it was still good and I really liked the Tsubakiri flashback chapter and the Shiki goes on a date with his Juliet equivalent chapter.

私の想像が違うかもしれない。刃物の子は氷の子ではないかも。彼は実は慈悲深いし他の人の面倒を見っている。自分を犠牲して子供を考えずに助ける。結構いいやつ。感動。それは氷のイメージではない。彼は何なのかしら？
鬼神の力もっと見るべきだった。ま、多分また表れる。

次は楽しみ！
