I hate giving bad reviews, especially when I'm arc reading and hopefully providing other potential readers with a reason to open a book.
The storyline was so messy. I found it difficult to follow the story, even with the explicit chapter headers. I understand short stories happen a lot faster, but until the near end, nowhere was there any real confirmation that they'd been together almost 20 years.
After all that time, she still doesn't understand why he needs to be part of the MC. Almost 20 years together, and part of an MC and he doesn't know she's receiving threats. 20 years with no real commitment. I'm sorry but I just don't buy it!!!
Let's forget about the hasty sister kidnap plot that took only half a page to put right, and the mutual apologies towards the end... no I'm sorry but this was not good.

Reasons why I only rated it 1 star:
• They were HS sweethearts, together for nearly 20 years, yet the h doesn’t get why the H is so devoted to his MC, an MC that he’s been entrenched in since he was young. WTF? Did they never have a convo in all that time?
• The H cheats with a club girl and he blames the club girl, calling her a whore, for making him cheat!
• The TSTL h is supposed to be smart, yet she forgives the H for cheating without any grovelling on his part, even though she hates the MC lifestyle. Nope, just nope.
• The h is not only a doctor, but a top surgeon to boot, and has been dating the biker H for nearly two decades, even though he’s involved in shady shit. ROFL. I call bullshit.
• Ridiculous dialogue.
• Unexplained time jumps that make it difficult to understand the story’s timeframe.
• MAJOR plot holes.
• It’s too plot-heavy for such a SHORT story. There are shootings, hospital scenes, cheating, sister rescue, reconciliation, make-up sex, etc. The book is only 44 pages long. 🤣
• It doesn’t make much sense and really isn’t worth the read. You’re welcome.

I received this as an arc for my honest review
Reading this after Brick’s story was a huge let down. Cage was an idiot and Abby a doormat. Seriously nothing redeeming in this story. I get that this was labeled as a cheating husband story but why that way. And the sorry excuses. This was just a huge no from me.

Love flawed characters but !
Unfortunately this didn't work for me, I'm a huge fan of mc storylines and cheating/grovel but this sadly wasn't . I understand short stories but really need a strong heroine and a remorseful hero.

Can't get enough of this series. Again dropped everything to read as soon as it was out.
After shots being fired in the club, Cage saw who did the shooting and how one of the girls ran towards the MC. She approached Cage and we'll they ended up doing something. In the meantime two girls were shot and taken to the hospital. Abby was working at the hospital when the girls came in and immediately went to the MC to see if Cage was ok. Abby actually walked in on Cage and Dina, the girl from the club. Abby told Cage she was done with him. He cheated on her and Abby told him she was done. She left and went back to the hospital, where she took care of some patients.
Later Cage was making a run with some of the guys when he was being followed by some of the cubans. While trying to get away he laid his bike down and was injured. He rode to the hospital at Abby was at, so he could at her to help him. While helping fix Cage up, she got a frantic call from her sister. Abby told Cage and he flew into action. No one messes with the MC or family. Next thing Abby knows, that Cage and her sister were back and safe.
Abby realized what Cage meant by how the MC protects everyone that Cage has tried to explain to her. Later they both meet at this little dive bar and actually rekindle their relationship. They end up going back to the club and after they had their way with each other and talked about the future, there was a knock on the door letting him know the Hunters daughter was kidnapped and he needs to leave with 're guys to go find her. Now let's see what happens next.

Cage and Abby are high school sweethearts, Cage joined the MC which Abby is not in the least bit happy about after all she is a doctor at the Miami General Hospital the best Surgeon they have on staff, daily she watches people come in that can’t be helped and they die she is constantly in fear that Cage is going to be brought in and she won’t be able to save him, and they have argued over this many times and this last argument escalated to Abby giving that dreaded ultimatum either the club or me no in between. Or she is Done. Cage asks Abby for some space he has to think this through he doesn’t want to leave his brothers they’ve made him into the man he is today, but he loves Abby. In his mind he believes that Abby is already done with him and one of the MC club who## comes on to him and offers herself to him as she has done many times before even though he has rejected her each time but this time he cheats on Abby with this trash. Abby is feeling bad about the situation and missing Cage and goes to the club to see him and knocks on his room door and finds Cage with this piece of trash. The two decade relationship was already on shaky ground, now Cage cheats on top of putting the MC above Abby. Is this salvageable? Will Abby be able to forgive Cage for cheating on her? Can she trust that he won’t do it again? Will Cage give up the MC for Abby? This was a good story. I don’t normally like cheating stories, but this one didn’t dwell deeply on it so it made it tolerable for me. I would recommend. I received an Advance Reader's Copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Wicked Kings MC Miami series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. The two of them have been together since high school Caged joined the MC which didn’t make Abby happy because she was a doc. well a surgeon and the best they have on staff, she fears for him thinking he may be brought in, and she won’t be able to safe him. The two of them fight about that constantly until she gives an ultimatum to choose her or the club. Cage asks her for space to make his decision since he doesn’t’ want to leave his brothers, they help make him into the man he is today, and he loves her with everything in him, but he feels like Abby is done with him with her being so smart (he is just a brother in the MC). After giving her ultimatum she feels bad goes to the club to see him and catches him cheating on her so will they work it out, can she trust him again even though she put him in the position, will he give up his brother or will she understand their connection, and can they find happiness?

Abby is a doctor at the local Miami General Hospital; she is dating Cage since high school and he belongs to the local Wicked Kings M.C. One night while she is working the ER she sees some shooting victims from the strip joint Queens and Kings which is run by the Wicked Kings, so she rushes out to the club to check on Cage and see what happened. She finds him in a room with a girl and the room permeates with the smell of sex. She can't believe he did that to her and rushes out. He catches up to her and explains that he thought they were on a break since the fight they had where she gave him the ultimatum of her or his M.C. At that time he told her he needed some time to decide. He loves her but the M.C. made him the man he is and saved his life. I'll leave you here so I can save the ending for you to discover for yourself by reading the book; but know this, there's a lot more to the story than what I've discussed here. It's really a good book if you love M.C. romances, but I suggest you get the whole series because they are all intertwined with each other and you get a better sense of the characters, flaws and all. So, pick them up and enjoy!

We have come upon book four in the Wicked Kings MC Miami series which is a spin-off of another series. This next book is something that I wanted to reach in and smack him. She is a surgeon and sees all kinds of things at the hospital so she has decided enough is enough when she walks in on him with another female. It has been many years since they have been together and this was the last straw. She tells him they are done. He ends up getting hurt when he crashes his bike and goes to her for help. While there her sister is in need of help so he goes. Now, these two are at a crossroads of sorts. She still wants him but she wants him to choose her or the MC. After their time talking things out and some alone time he has to head out to save another female. What is going to end up with this couple if he leaves? I liked the story all but the other female. And since the story is well written I won't give it fewer stars than it is due to my fact of not liking one part in the story.

Cage and Abby has been together a long time but they had a fight. She gave him an ultimatum of her or the MC and walked away. Shes a surgeon at the Miami Hospital and he’s at the MC. There is a shooting at the club and a girls runs to him to save her and sometimes happens. Two girls get hurt and end up at the hospital and Abby sees them and runs to the club to make sure Cage isn’t hurt. She finds him with the girl and sees them together. She tells him they are over and leaves going to the hospital to work. He later gets hurt and ends up at the hospital and she patches him up until she gets an urgent call from her sister. Will he help and are they over. And will she give him another chance?

Abby and Cage were high school sweethearts but she really didn't like the club so she issues an ultimatum and he asks for space to decide...there was a shooting at the clubhouse and Abby being a doctor and in love with Cage runs to find out if he is okay. Meanwhile Cage is just in a high of being alive after the shootout and is in the middle having sex with a club girl Dina when Abby comes in. She tells him that she is done with him. Cage gets in an accident later and runs to Abby for help and while there she learns that her sister is in trouble and turns to Cage for help. Will they be able to work out their issues? All in all a good story and will definitely read the next one .

This short story is certainly a star better than the last story in this series of this MC chapter. But, the juvenile dialogue is still there and sort of just a lame story. Sure there is some storyline here and there are way less typos and errors than in previous stories so this story is getting fine three stars, which is one star up. But overall - well, I would have been no worse off had I not read this story. So sorry about this lame review but I have to be earnest with my feelings while reviewing a story.

I knew going into this book that it wasn't something I would like because of the cheating aspect but I wanted the next story in the series. But this just wasn't written well, Cage was a child and Abby a doormat - none of these things are what I look for in a book. There were aspects that were just unbelievable as well - a doctor who leaves in the middle of a shift to check on her boyfriend? A 20-year relationship that has no real substance and never discussed marriage or kids? I will keep reading the series because I want to see what happens.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this one left me feeling a little lost. Cage and Abby were high school. sweethearts. She’s a doctor and has wanted cage to leave the MC, but Cage is loyal and loved his brothers. When the strip club is shot up by the Cubans and Abby hears about it, she rushes to the club to check on Cage. When she walks into his room, he’s with another woman. He cheated on her and she walks out. This was too wishy-washy for me.. I have enjoyed the other members story but this wasn’t the author’s best.

Cage is a member of the MC but in love with Abby, a doctor who doesn't really like that he is so involved with them.
So well written with a spell binding suspenseful cliff hanger, this was a great book.
Centring more on the relationship and the ups and downs between Abby and Cage, their chemistry is never in question. Autumn Summer likes to lull you into a feel good place just before the shock tactic comes into play. Great story!

I hate giving bad reviews but this was just awful . This couple has supposedly been together for 20 years but don’t live together and haven’t even talked about wanting or not wanting children yet ? This short read was chalked full of inconsistencies and an MC doesn’t work like this one at all . Also after 20 years she wants him to leave the Mc ? You would think by then they had talks about that too . I just couldn’t get over some of the stuff in this book . I read over 400 Mc books in 2020 and never read one like this .

Cage and Abby have been together for twenty years ever since high school. After a shoot out at the club with Cubans the injured are taken to the hospital where Abby is a surgeon. She's really worried about Cage so during a lull she goes to find him. What she finds is him "comforting" and being "comforted" by one of the club girls. So the final ultimatum is, Abby or the MC! Is there any chance Cage could still have both or will he definitely have to choose one and give up the other.

Starts out with a gun battle and then Cage goes off with one of the dancers and is found by his girlfriend Abby. Being a surgeon she sees it all including those that came with gunshot wounds from the club and is afraid for Cage and wants him to leave the group. She gives him an ultimatum: her or the club and certainly not messing around with any of the girls.
Again this jumbled. Cage has no problem going off with one of the club girls but when caught he calls her names and says she tricked him, really! Now we have another group involved and the ending, what?

High school sweetheart’s with different ideas for the future. Cage is the gruff MC, and Abby the sweet doctor. How can the two of them come to an understanding? He is guns, drugs and violence. She saves people for a living. What if something happens to Cage? Would she be able to save him? Can Cage keep her safe or will being with him get her hurt or killed. I know it said in the title cheating boyfriend but I didn’t think he’d actually sleep with a whore and there was no mention of condoms used! It was sickening to hear him say how he found her attractive and that she made him hard. It was just pushed to one side and not really discussed! I just can’t believe she didn’t make more of a deal about this when they had been together since high school! There was nothing done to Dina for sleeping with him and I think there should of been. This part of the storyline was left open ended.

Things go downhill quick for Cage after he gets caught by Abby with a stripper after the shooting in the previous book. He really is a jerk about in the moment. Abby is pretty set in her mind about a lot, but that doesn’t change the fact she loves Cage. A lot of drama in a very short period of time, but it helps Abby better understand the MC’s place in Cage’s life. I like that there is actual talking like adults later in the story after the way he acts like a child when he gets caught. Reconciliation and a cliffhanger ending.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. While I usually enjoy the books Autumn writes, this one did not do it for me. It was not that the story contained cheating, because we know that going into it. I had trouble with the storyline mainly, but Cage and Abby did not really add up either. After a couple of decades together their actions seemed really odd. I will continue to read books that Autumn writes, just maybe not this series.

They get I to a big fight and leave to cool off. When they Vubans attack it brings it al back to the surface. Is there anything Cage can do to convince Abby he needs the club and cannot leave? I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Abby and Cage have been together for years. Abby has issues with Cage being in an MC. With danger chasing them, will they be safe?
