Ahhhh Tavish, Legend and Karolena…okay, first things first.

HAWTNESS! Yup, HAWT.

That is possibly unnecessary to state, considering the series & world this book comes from, but it should be stated.

As for this thruple. I liked, loved and adored them…not always at the same time, but they kept me turning the pages to see what would happen next. Legend is a gentle giant who definitely knows how to handle a situation, especially when it could become emotionally charged. Karolena is strong. She’s lived through it and is working on finding her footing, but I loved that she took chances, even if they may not be the best for her heart. Tavish is a sweetheart, but this man gave me whiplash. I understood why he reacted the way he did, but WOW. There journey was an interesting one as they all have some sort of baggage to work through and I really liked how they each forced the others to open up, confront their own demons and work to find a way to make the connection they felt to each other become more.

This was a fun read and great addition to the series, and world at large. I still have issues keeping who is with who, but outside of that, it was fun to catch up with everyone. James is still a fav, along with the crazy that tends to happen with his beloved car. But I must admit that I’m looking forward to the next book in the series and to find out how the next three get their own HEA!

Claimed completely bewitched me from the very first meet-cute between Tavish, Legend, Karolena, and an unfortunate sudsing.

Seriously, I couldn’t put Claimed down until I knew for sure Karolena, Tavish, and Legend would actually get their happily ever after. Because, let’s face it, between running from the mafia and their true feelings things were a bit touch and go.

I loved seeing how Karolena really united Legend and Tavish into a true loving relationship—she filled in all the spaces they didn’t realize were empty. And it was fun to see how the rest of the Shields integrated—ingrained—themselves into the relationship too. I can’t wait to see more from this thriller, especially as things are just heating up with Levin, Konstantin, and Aven. ~ Missy, 5 stars

Ok so let’s all be honest girls, who hasn’t imagined themselves trapped in between two sexy, dangerous, but sweet men as they ravished you and devoted all their attention on you… yeah I feel ya. As one of the very few author's I would dub a Queen of Ménage, Jayne Rylon continues to draw me in and make me sweat with her Shields and the relationships that amaze and enthrall me. I am have been dying for this story since the last chapter of the previous novel (man I wish she’d quit doing that to me!) and I am happy to say I devoured it. Tavish and Legend were hot as hell, alpha warriors with so many vulnerabilities and they definitely needed the perfect woman to bring them together permanently and make them embrace the love they were hiding from. Karolena is on the run from a past she is ashamed of, but she is determined to do her best to get away and start over, too bad she landed in the one place in the world that she can’t hide from her past. The draw to the two sexy men is one that should be taboo and forbidden, but seems so normal in her new environment that when they offer her an afternoon of sensual play she finds herself giving in to her desires, for once on her own terms. But when her past begins to come to light, the two men that draw her like no other not only become her friends and playmates, they are now her protectors and so much more as they are forced together. They each have their pasts and fears to overcome, even as they work toward a future, but sometimes all it takes is one mistake to drive a wedge into a healing heart. Can these three lovers overcome all the obstacles in their path to love, or will they have to separate in order to find their happiness? Wow this story moved even faster than some of the others in the series (Spoiler alert: the heat scale hits epic proportions by chapter two guys) and soon these three have to come to terms with their emotional pain in order to move forward. I loved seeing Karolena take control of her life, especially in regards to her body and passions, telling the men exactly what she wanted and letting them teach her even more about lovemaking. She has had a very difficult life and one that no woman should ever be forced to endure, though its sadly not as uncommon as we think, and when she finally escapes it is a relief that she knows could be short-lived if she isn’t careful. Tavish and Legend have been a team for a long time, both in the field and in the bedroom, but their relationship is incomplete. Legend is a giant teddy bear, but interestingly not the alpha personality and seeing him looking to Tavish for direction and leadership was beyond sexy. Tavish was so masterful and alpha that I needed ice a few times when he was in control of his lovers, but there is a lot of pain he has buried deep for years that only his lovers could truly help heal and only if he opens up to them. I loved seeing how these three completed one another and formed a truly healthy and loving triad, each offering the solace and support that was needed for the other two both individually and as couple in order that the three of them could move forward and stay together forever. I can’t wait to see more of them in the next story (that story looks to be a very action packed and interesting one) and am already dying to read Shared where we will see what happens to the last single member of the Shields. That story might be the end of this series (though I can certainly hope for more) but I can already see it will be a blast to read and experience. Jayne is one of the few writers that can make you look at these relationships, that are so out of the norm, and show you the love, devotion, and ordinariness of them until it seems commonplace to you to see triads and even more as they just share love. Love truly knows no bounds and should never be limited and Jayne reminds us of that with each installment of her series, and I for one thank her for the reminder often.

I love Legend and Tavish, even if he is brusque and puts his foot in his mouth a few times. The addition of Karolena to their partnership takes them to a whole new level that none are entirely positive how to navigate. Missteps are had.

Jordan’s tone was a hell of a lot more steely. “The background check Karolena filled out… well, it doesn’t check. At all.”

“It’s got more gaping holes than me after a birthday weekend with the Powertools,” James grumbled.

“Dude.” Nolan slicked a hand over his action-figure hair, then laughed at James. “I know we’re close around here, but damn.”

James’s eyes twinkled. He wasn’t a bit sorry.

I love how Jayne Rylon balances the scary things in the world with humor and wickedly hot encounters with strong but flawed characters. It's one of my favorite things about this entire series. ❤🔥❤

There was something very Cinderella-esque about her that made him want to be Prince Charming.

No Shields book would be complete without a comical interlude with the adorkable office manager, James, and his not-a-clown-car-but-totally-a-clown-car mechanical vehicle. It doesn't disappoint! 😂😂

I do want to point out that Karolena is technically cheating, but given the situation she escaped, I can't exactly say that I blame her. Do not let that deter you from reading this. That whole "walk a mile in her shoes" thing applies here.

This book can absolutely be read as a stand-alone, but don't be surprised if you find yourself with a need to read everything in the Powertools universe. You're not alone. 😉

Karolena has lived a Life that no one should ever have to indoor. Running away from her home in Russia and her mafia husband, she ends up in the United States in a small town in which nothing too exciting should be happening. Just trying to earn a living, have a place to live and basically blend in, Little did Karolena she ended up in hands of some of the best people she could possibly want on her side.


Tavish and Legend are not only partners in the field, they are partners in the bedroom. There are not too many people Tavish trusts at his back and Legend is one of them. They have been on too many life or death missions together and have proven not only their trust but their unique affections as well. When a new housekeeper shows up at Shilds, The men are more than willing to show her a good time in anyway she wants. However when her story doesn’t check out they are the ones assigned to try and figure out what is truly going on. Is she a plant in their home or is there something else behind that beautiful woman?


Claimed is a fast paced, intense and emotional. This is one of those stories that as soon as you start reading it it hits you hard and fast and doesn’t stop until you’re at the very last page. Jayne Rylon Is a master at multiple people intimacy and this is one of those stories that is done beautifully tastefully and is so hot you may have to be fanning yourself. If you are a fan of beautiful men in tuxedos or have a love for kilts, my goodness you are in for a treat. Karolena lived a hard life where her choices were taken away from her. Tavish and Legend are a beautiful duo that balance each other out in just the right way. They are giving, protective and more than willing.. They had some work to do between themselves and along with Karolena together, the three of them, through the blissful moments and the moments of incredible danger. They they overcame the danger, worked through some of their internal struggles and found a way to find happiness. Together, as a trio.

Karolena is on the run and in hiding from her mob boss husband. She was sold to him by her father when she was sixteen, abused and mistreated for the last ten years. She's ready to start being in control of her life.

Legend and Tavish have been together since they met on special ops missions. They were recruited together to join the Shields and have been together ever since. Tavish was betrayed in the past and it cost him his family, he's never fully dealt with it and it continues to sabotage relationships.

A week after arriving in the United States, Karolena took a job cleaning for the Shields having no idea what they really did. Her first day on the job she finds herself in between two hotties. They seem to know she's a bit wounded but brave for taking them both on. When the truth of her past comes out, the team, Tavish and Legend must deal with the fallout.

These three light a room on fire from the first moment they meet. If they can get past the emotional garbage of their past and open themselves up to love. Legend and Karolena are willing to be open and put themselves out there while Tavish's past continues to throw wrenches in their budding relationship. Their ride takes you from blazing hit, to bumpy, to sweet, but I think you'll like their happily ever after. My only wish was that we had more time with them outside the bedroom. There was so much they needed to unpack and I would have liked more time to savor them.

Claimed by Jayne Rylon is the fifth book in the Powertools: The Shields series, and it was simply DIVINE!

I had so much love and compassion for Karolena and her story, and also, how she got her HEA! She goes on quite the journey of self discovery and it's lovely to see how she grows and develops.

Tavish is delicious! I can just hear his accent and it only adds to his attractiveness. Tavish is delightfully playful with his banter and attraction whilst also clever and attentive.

And Legend? I mean, with a name like that, he absolutely delivers! He's a bit of a girly grizzly, extremely considerate and kind, caring, and dependable, and so much more.

On the run from a rocky and dangerous past, a job as a housekeeper to stay hidden and safe, and two men that would do anything for you the more they get to know you, and you'd do the same in return. What more could a reader ask for?!

Faith, trust, loyalty, friendship, love, all of these and more, including chemistry and tension, are explored artfully, tastefully, and deliciously! So, what are you waiting for? Come for the drama, and stay for the sizzling connections. You won't regret it!

Another great book in the series! Karolena, man my heart goes out to her. What she escaped from no one should have to ever experience. He is the true scum of the earth. She wants a fresh start living life on her terms. She has no idea what she's in for when she takes a job with the Shields. She's introduced to a whole new world. Tavish and Legend are looking for someone to complete their trio. Once they get a look at Karolena they know she could be the one. She hasn't told the whole truth about her past. That leads to some tense moments. My heart ripped to pieces as she recounts her past. It makes it all the more beautiful for what she finds with Legend and Tavish. Tavish is a delicious kilt wearing Scotsman who has some inner demons to work on. The three have burning hot chemistry where I had to fan myself as I was reading. It gets HOT between them. The shenanigans with James are afoot again. That poor man. It's something I do look forward to, but don't at the same time. I'm totally intrigued for the next book based on the little set up we get at the end of this one. I liked this book because it was a little more calm for me after an intense one before this one.

Maybe my favorites so far in the series. I’ve had my eye on Legend and Tavish for so long. So many ups and downs in their relationship. And they both have longed for the one female that could bring them together. Karolina is that woman. There is a lot more to Karolína than meets the eye, and because she works at Shields her secrets aren’t kept for long. Time for shields to get to work, both to make it safe for her and to bring down a Russian mafia boss. This book has some really sexy scenes, I swear steam was coming out of the Kindle. Excellent story, it was like watching your good friends go full circle. The author has brought such life to these characters you can’t help but be involved and care about them, it was so good to see Tavish open up and to see Legend have his dreams come true. Two new characters are introduced, Konstantin and Levin. So excited for their story, and to see Aven finally get her trio. This book kept my interest from beginning to end, there’s a touch of danger, serious trust issues, and love that will not be denied. Excellent job Jayne Rylon.

Karolena left St. Petersburg to escape her Russian Mafia leader husband. She lands in USA and takes a bus to the small town in the heart of the country. There she answers a Shields' want ad for a maid since she has no qualifications. James hires her knowing from Ruby her personal data is wrong. James sets her up with Legend and Tavish, who have a feeling she may be their woman! Lots of relationship problems to solve, secrets to unravel, and an assassination to be made to permanently save Karolena. James and his little green, but highly modified car make another large part of the story. Jordan and the rest of the Shields hear her story and become immediately vested in the success of Karolena's escape and the working out of their triad. A great read! And a wonderful setup for the next Shields novel!

In book 5 of the Powertools: The Shields book, we are brought Karolena, Tavish, and Legend's story from Jayne Rylon. I always enjoy her books and her unique way of writing.

Tavish and Legend were introduced to us in previous Powertools books, so I was definitely excited for them to find their HEA with a new character. They are both strong and powerful men, but also very sensitive and want Karolena in a way unlike anyone else before her.

Karolena has quite the past, and the group believes at one point that she is a plant, and Tavish and Legend are assigned to stick with her like glue. Definitely not a hardship.

These characters had a bit to work through to get their HEA. I really enjoyed this addition to the books, but felt it may have been a bit rushed in parts. Still an enjoyable read with an ending we all want!

So so good.
Karolena is running for her life and ends up in a small town working for the Shields but will she ever be safe when her husband is part of the Russian mafia.
Tavish and Legend are perfect together but are looking for the one to complete them and they can't take their eyes off Karolena but is she the one for them.
When they find out who she is will they be able to protect her or will Tavish's past put distance between them.
So much drama and plenty of emotion with even more suspense but also so much love.
Can they make it work and give her the life she has always wanted.
A must read and an insight into the next book.

Claimed is Jayne Rylon’s latest addition to Powertools: The Shield series and it is fabulous.
Karolena has been through so much trauma in her marriage to someone deep in the Russian mafia that she takes the opportunity to escape when it is offered to her. Despite having no idea how to clean, she accepts the offer of being the live in housekeeper for the Shield team.
There is instant sizzling attraction to duo Tavish, who really rocks the traditional kilt and Legend, who is heartbreakingly handsome in a traditional tuxedo. This trio really steam the pages of this beautifully written story and the ending leaves you eagerly waiting for the next installment.
For everyone who is invested in James’s car - you will love what happens this time!

Running from her present, Karolena takes a shot in the dark and winds up in the best place for her to start a life over. Too bad the people she has surrounded herself with don't take things at face value. Especially Tavish and Legend. Tavish has a past he carries on his sleeve that prevents him from moving on in the future. Legend is trying to hold on as long as he can. I loved the dynamic between the three of them. Karolena has found her voice and isn't afraid to use it. Tavish has a sarcastic funny side that comes out at the wrong moments. And Legend is just the glue that holds them all together. Her past is catching up to them and can't be ignored but will she feel the same about them after they deal with the problem?

Claimed is the latest installment in Jayne Rylon's Powertools The Shield series. I enjoyed getting to know Tavish and Legend better. There is something brewing between them but can they let go of fear to be all they can be? I love that Karolena is the piece that allows Legend and Tavish to accept themselves and each other. I love seeing each of them blossom as their bodies spoke in ways their hearts and minds were slow to follow.
This story is a wonderful addition to this series and I can't wait to see where Ms. Rylon will take us next.

Karolena is on the run from her abusive Russian Mafia husband. She come across an ad in town for a maid to clean what she thought was a regular security firm. Tavish and Legend are a couple hoping to find their third. However, both have scars from their past that prevent them from being open with each other. When they find Karolena in their apartment making more of mess than cleaning they know something is off. By the time Karolena's background check comes back, they are both in too deep emotionally. They know her ex will never stop hunting her, so they take the fight to him. Overall, this was a fast and engaging read. I cannot wait for the next installment.

I have been drawn to Tavish since we were first introduced to him and have been waiting so impatiently, lol, for his story. Let me tell you that I was not disappointed at all!! My goodness, Jayne Rylon certainly knows how to tell a tale and draw you in so that you feel her characters emotions. This time we get Tavish, Legend and Karolena. Tavish and Legend have a connection and partnership, in and out of the field, but both have some baggage that holds them back. Karolena is the new housekeeper at Shields and is hiding her own baggage. The chemistry between the 3 of them is off the charts as they work through everything to try for their own happy ending.

I so look forward to reading the next installment in The Shields series, especially the way Jayne writes menages.

Karolena meets Legend and Tavish and realize she may be who they have been waiting for, someone to complete their triad. Karolena is very skittish and then they find out why, she is on the run from someone very dangerous.

As usual with any of the Shields stories, there is a lot danger, suspense and all the intense fireworks between our threesomes. I totally enjoyed seeing how they overcome their pasts and begin to see a future for them, together.

Karolena has come to work as a live-in housekeeper at the Shield's facility. Having fled an untenable dangerous existence she hopes to put it all behind her. Tavish and Legend realise something is a amiss with Karolena, but they never expected the closely guarded secrets that surround the beautiful women who captures their interest. The drama, the danger, attraction and intense emotion that builds between the trio is undeniable. However insecurities and uncertainty could derail the newly forward triad. Working through their issues will bring them the love and security they've always wanted. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

A solid storyline with great characters and the right dose of drama, suspense and steam.

A steamy romance read! Karolena was just trying to leave a toxic and dangerous relationship when she finds herself in an unexpected world she didn’t dream of with Legend, Tavish as the highlight. The Shields group come together to help her and her men find their deserving HEA. I love all the delicious heat level between the characters with all the drama, suspense throughout the storyline. This was an enjoyable addition to the sizzling series that doesn’t disappoint. Can’t wait for more sizzle especially with that tease of an ending.

Claimed: A Why Choose MMF Romance (Powertools: The Shields Book 5) focuses on Tavish, Legend, and Karolena, a mysterious woman, who has taken a job as a cleaning lady at the Shields office/home. The heat builds quickly between Tavish, Legend, and Karolena as the truth about her comes out because Karolena isn’t as polished an actress as she thought.

Karolena had escaped her husband, a Russian Mafia leader, and thought she had run far enough to hide from him. However, men from the Russian Mafia mob boss have appeared in town and want to speak with Karolena.

Legend and Tavish are partners during and after missions for Shields. When Karolena shows up things take a turn. She is hiding more than just herself from them, and as they discover why she is running they must all decide who they trust and who they do not trust. Full of plenty of steamy moments readers of Jayne Rylon expect, these three embark on a deeply emotional relationship rather quickly, but it all fits in the end. Leading into the next story, readers will be looking forward to Aven getting her chance at something more!

I really like that Legend and Tavish were established as in a relationship but that there was still some insecurity between them. They each needed to have honest communication with themselves before exploring the addition of a third. Karolena's hesitancy in trust is well deserved, especially as her past comes to light. Slowly believing in her own worth and then coming to rely on them is exactly what all three needed. Can't wait for Aven, Levin and Konstantin's story next in Shared.

Karolena is trying to get away from her abuse of mafia husband. Levin helped her to escape. She decided to go to a town in the middle of nowhere. Gets a job at Shields as a maid. Tavish and Legend take a liking to her. They all have issues from their past. Can they over come them or will it destroy them before they have a chance? Can Shields help her escape her husband for good? Come on in and take a wild ride to find out.

For people to meet and fall, it is a joyous time. When it happens more than once, that is even better. Sometimes souls meet and match. In this book by Jayne Rylon, we have that. I could go into detail, but anything I say would give so much away about the book. The dynamic of Karolena, Tavish, and Legend is truly one that will make you laugh, swoon, and want. Get the fan ready, because this one was a hot one.

Karolena is running for her life. When she gets the job cleaning, ugh, Shield headquarters she thinks she’s hit the jackpot. A salary, somewhere to live and security. Until they dig into her references. Then everything comes out.

Tavish and Legend have each other’s back and so much more. When they’re assigned to watch Karolena, it becomes so much more. Now to make sure they can protect her and keep her.

We of course see the threesome come together, and how they/shields solve some issues from her past. I always have to laugh at James car fiascoes. Can’t wait to see what they come up with next. Love the ongoing multi-partner story! Hot as always!
