New series to check out! King is the first in the series. There is a free prequel called “A Table for Ten” that introduces the reader to the covert team. This is a fast paced first book in the new series, Z Boys, by Sofia Aves
He was an army brat and basically enjoys the life that he has, when he meets Chrissy, it seems to be an accident. They keep meeting, however so there is some suspicion.

A fantastic story! It is jammed packed with action, drama, suspense, and humor. I loved guys and King’s banter as they proceed through a mission that seems to put them in harms way. King and Chrissy have amazing chemistry that is felt throughout the story. The story pulled me in and kept me glued to it. Yes, it is a quicker read but it is extremely well written and doesn’t leave you feeling as if you are missing anything. It does, however, make you want more. It is extremely well written and developed. I really enjoyed the story and can’t wait to see what happens next.

I really enjoyed this book but I think you should read the Table for Ten first to help you understand the story about the Z boys.

This story had me from the beginning to the end and I just could not put it down. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Sofia Aves has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Chrissy and King. King and his special ops team are in Cambodia and are walking to the airfield to leave when King sees something that catches his interest. He goes to check it out. He ends up saving Chrissy from getting shot. After saving her, he leaves her and they go back home. King and his team are on a plane going on another mission and he sees Chrissy on the plane. They are staying in the same hotel. King and Chrissy hit it off and he wants to spend more time with her. He takes her out on a boat ride but things are not good. They are surrounded by bad guys and told to leave. When Chrissy and King get back to the hotel, they go their separate ways. King has his mission to worry about and calls a meeting with the rest of the team to tell them what he found out. The team makes plans to go and check things out. Chrissy decides to do a spa day and goes to get a massage. After her massage, the clerk told her that she was going to get the things to clean Chrissy up. Chrissy heard footsteps but they weren't the clerks. In came a man that she recognized from the men who surrounded her and King. He held a gun up to her and told her to get dressed. The man took Chrissy. The man takes her out of the hotel and out to the woods. She trips and hurts her wrist. She is taken to a yacht and used as bait. When King gets to where he wants, he checks on his team. What he sees makes him see red. King sees Chrissy tied up and she looks like she is in pain. The team runs into problems with the men on the yacht and gets into a fight.
Can King and the team save Chrissy?
Will things between Chrissy and King work out?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

My Kind of Z ❤🔥

The amazing author Sofia Aves presents us with this first installment of a new series. Packed full of suspense, action, drama and a pinch of ❤🔥 The "Z" Boys are an off the radar militarily op that doesn't exit on paper. They take on a lot of covert missions that would not otherwise be done. The MC King is an army brat raised by his father who was also a Z Boy. This means King has a lot to live up to. As you begin to know the men of the Z Boys, King goes a bit rogue and saves the life of a female blogger. They are attracted to each other but then she happens to be everywhere he and his men are. She also becomes suspicious of him because of the run ins. That said, the book then spins into fast pace action and suspense. At this point, I was already invested, needing the rest, so to speak. 🤔 I couldn’t put it down from beginning to end‼️ Ms. Aves puts down a solid storyline. The vivid world build, the introduction of each team member which makes me hope each Z Boy will be able to tell they're tale in future installments. With unpredictable twist, I was on the edge of my seat reminding myself to breathe 😳 This book is not drawn out or super short at all, it's just right. I'm excited about this new series and highly recommend book 1. You will not be dissapointed. I can't wait for the next installment of this new series. Thank you Ms. Aves📚

This is the first book in Sofia Aves "Z Boys" series and, as others have said, I sincerely encourage reading "A Table for Two" which is free on Amazon and gives an insight into the unit, it's aims and the team.
Was it a coincidence that Chrissie, the beautiful travel blogger kept appearing in my life or was it something more menacing ?
Noah King was part of the Z Boys , a special ops team made up of highly trained military personnel, each an expert in their own field..........except they didn't exist, there was no record of them, they did their job and disappeared.
King had been an army brat and was following in his fathers boots, boots that were very big to fill, he, along with his team buddies Scotty (Joker), Caleb (Hearts), the Trans twins (Nave and Queen) and their leader Lincoln Kelly (Ace) were binding well as a team. When Chrissie came into his life things were moving fast both with him and Chrissie and the team, he was attracted to her more than any girl that he had ever met............but the suspicion was still there, why was she always in the right place at the right time ?
This is a fast paced story fraught with danger and excitement, I look forward to seeing where it leads and reading the stories of the rest of the team

King is the beginning of the Z Boys series and follows Noah King's story. He's a part of the Z Boys, an elite military ops group when he meets Chrissy, a woman who has been conveniently around every day. He was perfectly content with his life before her, but is he now? Can he trust her or is there more to her than meets the eye?

If you have not read A Table for Ten I would highly recommend reading it before reading King. This is a free prequel on Amazon and can help add a little understanding as to what is going on. We have several characters that are in his group: Lincoln (Ace), Caleb (Hearts), Scott (Joker) and the twins (Nave and Queen).

King and Chrissy meet in an unconventional way. And he's never sure of her motives. Is she a spy or was he just lucky? Everything that happened was incredibly convenient and made her highly suspicious as a person.

The author gave us a fast paced, action and adventure packed story that was interesting to read. It didn't hold my attention the entire time, as it did have some parts that were slower paced than the rest of the story, but it was still an investing read.

King and Chrissy meet while they are on a mission in Cambodia when he saves her life but he finds it strange that she is on the commercial plane that is taking them to their next destination and she is staying in the same hotel the team has been registered in. Chrissy is a blogger who goes from country to country writing her blog but King believes she is stalking them and tries to get information from her, so King takes her on a surveillance boat trip that doesn't end well. King is in trouble for going out on his own and taking a civilian but his team is ready to go back out and take care of the target while King is trying to find Chrissy but has to leave without seeing her. Chrissy unfortunately is being Kidnapped by the very man that busted them on their boat outing. An action-packed adventure, drama, suspense, danger, violence, and romance. I read a copy via BookFunnel without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.

I really have a problem with MMC who forget how to be professionals when they see a pair of boobs.
Why would he forget what his job is and how dangerous, because of a woman he has known for a couple of hours?
Why would he put her in danger becaise he can't keep it in his pants?
Why would he take her to his job, what kind of "secret op" is that if he's not even hiding?
Why won't anyone tell him he was unprofessional, just smiling like indulging a spoiled kid?
He said he refused to gamble with his unit's lived, but that's all he did!
How did Chrissy get in that situation? His fault!
He didn't make a single choice in that book and put everyone in danger because... boobs.

Is that kind of MMC really sexy or just a full list of irresponsible?

While this is the first book in this series I recommend that you read "A table for ten" which is a prequel and lets you learn of all the characters that compromise "Z Unit" a clandestine unit that doesn't exist on paper and if caught will be disavowed This is King's story he was a army brat growing up the only son of a special operator it isn't surprising that he has followed in his fathers footsteps He knows he can't have a relationship as that doesn't work with the job he does but somehow he can't walk away from Chrissy a travel blogger that keeps crashing into his missions is it coincidence fate or something more sinister You will have to read to see. Looking forward to solving the mystery that was the backbone of this story and the next episode with the always fun Joker

This is the first book in the Z Boys series, but there is a a free prequel on Amazon (A Table for Ten)
that I would recommend you read before this book, as it introduces the reader to the Australian elite military ops team. This book (and the prequel) is awesome!! King meets Chrissy as she’s held at gunpoint and throughout the book you can’t really tell if she’s a spy. The book is filled with adrenaline, adventure, steamy scenes, it’s very fast paced, extremely well written, I enjoyed the way the guys interacted with each other and the whole story has a flow that makes the reading very enjoyable. I look forward to reading the other teams stories in the future and cannot recommend it more!

Noak King was raised in the military, he has very big shoes to fill. He joined the Z-unit a specialist military group that not on the books. They do what the other group can’t. During one for the missions he meets and saves young blogger named Chrissy. The chemistry between them is amazing. But he has to complete his mission first. Then the Z-unit check in the a hotel and by coincidence Chrissy is staying there. King wants to believe her that she has no malicious intent towards the unit. She is just an ordinary blogger trying to make a name for her self. This book is a fast pace, romantic military love story.

Noah King is really an island of his own until he saves Chrissy. I don’t feel like we have her entire history, so I am hoping we get more as the series goes on. This was a good story about King falling for a girl, who seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and not even getting her name. Until he sees her again on his way to another mission, then she is taken. I enjoy the banter between the guys, and I am hoping by the end of the series my questions are all wrapped up with a nice little bow. The book doesn’t end with a true cliffhanger, but ends with unsolved issues. Looking forward to the next one.

Reading the prequel 'A Table for Ten' will introduce you to the team members more and give you more background.
King bumps into Chrissy on his way out of a country after a mission and she makes a huge impression on him. Then they bump into each other on his next mission, and its too good an opportunity to miss. This is definitely a insta-attraction story, both acting on instincts.
I enjoyed the comradery of the Z Boys, it's clear they have worked together a lot and know what each other is best at. The Z Boys also do things their own way and are not as regimented as other military groups which makes them seem more playful, but no less deadly.

When Noah King spots her across a crowded area in Cambodia, he is intrigued. When he comes across her the next day, he becomes suspicious. The third time? Who and what is Chrissy, and is she a threat to his team? Noah and Chrissy's story moves very quickly, and is very intense. He is a man on a team that, on paper, doesn't exist. Both characters are interesting, strong, and their chemistry is fire. I recommend reading the first book in the series, A Table for Ten, to get a better concept of who these men are. It is currently free in the Kindle store. This book is a five star read.

Loved It!

I enjoyed Noah "King" and Chrissy's story. The banter and comraderie between the Z Boys had me laughing. There's plenty of action and heat, just what I would expect from a military romance. Chrissy is a travel blogger and King saves her from what would have most likely ended in death. He had to leave and they never exchanged names but neither forgets about the other. So King is surprised when he bumps into Chrissy on the plane. He's not letting her getaway this time but he's on a mission with his team. The story is fast paced, well written and steamy. Can't wait for Jokers story next.

What a great start to the series! King is a member of Z Team, an off the books special ops team that goes where no one else will and ‘doesn’t exist’. When his path crosses with Chrissy when leaving Cambodia, he sees something is wrong and saves her. He thinks that’s the end of it. But then he runs across her again on another mission and while going out for an evening, they run into the bad guys. King notifies his team and they investigate. In the meantime, Chrissy gets kidnapped. King finds this out when he checks in with his team. Now he has to save her again. A fantastic story of adventure and intrigue with the perfect romance story built in!

This is book one in The Z Boys series and it is King and Chrissy's story. This Book takes you in right from the first page and kept your attention and on the edge of your seat throughout wondering what would happen next and it had great characters and twists and turns that you don't see coming along with great chemistry between King and Chrissy but the action, suspense, drama, trust, hope and love is what has you turning the pages to see what would happen next and what the outcome would be for them and I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

This novel is well written in the sense that the grammar and structure is good. I do not know if my feeling I didn't really "get" it is my issue or the author's, but I sense this just wasn't a world into which I instinctively fit. There's a mix of unspeakable evil and rather sweet love that was intriguing and confusing, I think. I did not quite understand where the characters came from to their roles in the book. The men were military, of course, but I had no idea what was happening in their minds. The same was true of Chrissy who just seemed to drop in on the narrative.

Book 1 of a new series, and I’m looking forward to the next.

The Z-Boys are a specialised military unit. Noah is one of the members, and Chrissie is a travel blogger. Totally different professions but fate intervenes, and they cross paths in time for Noah to save Chrissie. The story just picks up pace after that.

We get introduced to the rest of Noah’s team, their comradeship and will find out their stories in books to come.

There’s humour thrown in for good measure, back slapping and friendship. What else is needed in life?

Almost unreadable. The editing was atrocious, to the point that the author didn't even bother to run spell-check. No excuse for that kind of sloppiness. Regardless of the quality of the anthology, this should have never been included without at least minimal editing. My tips: Use spell-check. Get a good editor. Enlist the help of some well read grammatical stickers for beta readers.

All that said, the book has great potential- fun and charming characters and a good plot. However, I can't seriously give it more than 2-stars unless the author does a massive overhaul and re-release.

Interesting cast of characters… a little hard to follow at times. Liked the overall plot theme. At times the storyline seemed to jump, I think that was due to the number of characters, trying to develop too many characters at once and possibly some local colloquialisms that I had to unpack with some context clues. I plan to follow this author as I believe four and five star reads are possible…the first book in this series got me hooked.

King and Chrissy keep crossing paths as the skyrockets ignite between them. One bad guy even notices and kidnaps her to a boat the group gets onto later. The characters, and especially Z Boys, were terrific, with great personalities and backstories. Entertaining situations and interactions. Lots of drama, danger, action, steam, and much more. Great chemistry among the group, including Chrissy. Steady pace and vivid locales. Totally enjoyed the storyline.

They don’t do forever because forever can put the people you care about in danger.
But sometimes things happen and you don’t get to choose.

Book 1 in the Z Boys, opens with some of the team on a mission in Cambodia, only after this mission King will have some decisions to make that will change his future. I liked this story and the special character appearance at the end and will look to read more.

The first book in the Z Boys series is Noah King’s story. It’s very entertaining and a great adventure. He is on a covert mission team. While on an assignment, he meets Chrissy, who is a travel blogger. There’s an instant attraction. This is a well paced, action packed romance. It’s a very intriguing plot with likable characters. A very enjoyable read. *this honest, voluntary review is based on a complimentary copy from BookSirens*

This is the first book in the Z boys series. It starts with King, Noah King. He's on a mission with some of his team when, as they are about to leave, he sees something not quite right and investigates, rescuing Chrissy but leaving immediately. Then coincidence, or is it, she's on the same plane as him going to Tonga.
