Jeff Kinney is an author of children's books including Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series. Jeff was born in College Park, Maryland, in 1971 where he created a comic strip called "Igdoof."He also created the children's website 'Poptropica'.

I can see why my students like this, but I am not a fan. Greg is exactly the kind of troublemaker teachers despise. While the book was funny and I loved the illustrations, I just hated Greg so much that I wanted to rip him off the page and send him straight to detention.
