Just brilliant, what a follow up to book one, Night Born, if you love high fantasy with all the all that comes with it, jumped up elves, orcs, tree trolls, magic weilders, monsters and big bloody poisonous snakes, then you will definitely love this series, a fast pacing, action packed book you will read from start to finish, a cracking read for all ages,Terak has come in to his to his own an outcast elf with no magic will be called on to save the world literally, Terak is an oddity, He has become despised, feared, and desperately needed to combat the evil that is coming, he must overcome mistrust and forge a new alliance if he is to survive, his whole perspective changes and fight for those who are very prejudice against him, but with the Ungol minions close to their border and imminent slaughter on the way, Terak must lead the battle to save Midhara, or is he doomed, along with everyone, yes that was so good, now for book three, the narration continues be awesome, highly recommended..😁
The protagonist is still a fumbling noob. The sect once again shows its incompetence and fails to impress. I found it rather ridiculous that they would send a lacklustre buffoon like the protagonist on such an important mission.
