These books rock!! Three stories about the royal family of the Kingdom of Nord will leave you wanting more. I highly recommend this collection!
Lone Prince - She will help him heal. I loved this book!!! An amazing story of love, loss and second chances, it is a definite must read! Rowan is an architect who has been given the chance to redesign the Summer Palace for the Kingdom of Nord. It’s where her mother is from but she has lived in Farcliff her whole life. Wolfe is the broken prince, having had his fiancee die in his arms four years ago. When October, the month of her death comes around, he leaves the capital city to hide away in the Summer Palace. This time will be different. An early storm will bring bitter cold and snow and it is how he will find Rowan, passed out in a snow bank suffering from hypothermia. He is intrigued by her from the moment he lays eyes on her. It doesn’t take long before the two find themselves unable to fight the chemistry between them. They will spend the weeks she is there, stealing kisses and moments together. A trip to the doctor will reveal a secret that will send her running back to Farcliff and will send Wolfe back to the dispair he felt after his fiancee’s death. Rowan and Wolfe will reunite when the renovations to the visitor’s cottage where it all started is revealed. A medical emergency will make them both realize just how much they mean to each other and how empty their lives have been without the other. Rowan will let Wolfe back into her life and the life of their newborn baby and will lead them both to a happily ever after.
Ice Queen - An old friend will thaw her frozen heart. This book is phenomenal and I absolutely loved it! A great story of loss and lies and finding love again. Penelope and Asher were best friends in boarding school until she was called home to Nord to be Queen at age 10 after the death of her parents. The following day, Asher is badly burned in a fire at the school. Years later, they meet again at a friend’s wedding. The two will continue to cross paths and it will get harder and harder to resist the chemistry and pull between them. Business will bring him to Nord and into Penelope’s arms but when things finally are looking up and the two think they will finally get their heart’s desire, someone else will find a way to ruin it. It will take a big gesture but Asher will prove to Penelope that he is worthy of her love and will do anything to make sure she knows that what he feels for her is real. He will also give her the one thing she never thought she would have - a child of her own.
Rogue Prince - She was his biggest critic, he will become her future. This book rocks!!! The next story of the royal family of the Kingdom of Nord and it’s Silas’s turn. Seen as the playboy of the family, he meets his match in Jacinthe, a reporter who is openly critical of the royal family. On a royal tour that his brother Wolfe was supposed to be on, Silas and Jacinthe, Jazz to her friends, soon find they have quite a bit in common and are soon unable to deny the chemistry between them. When her mother has an accident, Silas sends her home on the royal jet and soon rumors are starting. Things get worse when someone close to Silas betrays him and helps release some photos of him and Jazz together. Finding out she’s pregnant will make things worse for her but when Silas comes back from his tour and shows up at her doorstep, she realizes that maybe her career wasn’t as important as she thought. Especially when he tells her the truth of what he’s done in order to be with her. The two are able to start their journey to their happily ever after that will lead them to a wonderful life neither thought they would ever have.

LONE PRINCE
This book is beautiful. And I don’t mean it’s a beautiful romance read (which it is). I mean, I fell in love with the landscape of the book, its setting. Lilian Monroe’s depiction of Nord and the Summer Palace, is mesmerizing. Maybe it’s the good ole Canadian girl in me, but every word she used to describe this fictional place hit home. I can see it, feel it, I needed to curl up under a warm blanket as I read about its cold beauty.
The landscape reeled me in, while the budding relationship between Wolfe and Rowen kept me going, page after delicious page. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed reading about two beautifully damaged souls who come together more than Rowen and Wolfe. They are as different as night and day but absolutely perfect for each other. I loved Rowen’s spunkiness and the fact that she did not bow down to the prince. While Wolfe, Wolfe was delicious. Sexy, powerful, royal but still just a man. A hungry, lonely man who is unable to resist the beauty before him.
Watching Rowan and Wolfe’s love story unfold made Lone Prince one of my Top 10 Romance Reads of 2020. I absolutely loved it and give it the @judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval. TBR and Enjoy!
ICE QUEEN
Royal romances are my new favorite and I have Lilian Monroe to thank for that. Ice Queen is Book 8 of her Royally Unexpected series and is an interesting read on so many levels. For one, I enjoyed the reversed roles, she was royalty and he was the commoner, and for two, their love story was not sensationalized.
Penelope is Queen of Nord. She has been since she was a child. Widowed at a young age and barren, she appears cold and detached. But is she though? Someone who feels the way she does cannot be frozen on the inside. Penelope is a queen first and foremost and a flesh and blood woman second. In the seven years since her husband’s death she has not wanted or craved a man, until him. He is Asher. Her childhood friend, the boy who owned her heart and who knew her before she inherited the crown.
Asher is a man who has suffered and known pain. His scars are visible for the world to see and they consume him, until her. She sees the man he is and desires him. They are perfect for each other on so many levels but nothing is easy when you are a royal.
Watching Penelope come to terms with her feelings, putting herself and her needs as a woman first made for a touching and sweet read. And watching Asher prove to be the perfect man to stand by her side, made it a sexy one too. Ice Queen is a must read royal romance and gets the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!
ROGUE PRINCE
I love Lilian Monroe’s Royally Unexpected Series HARD. Rogue Prince is Book 9 and is a delicious enemies to lovers romance.
Silas is the playboy Prince, the troublemaker, the scoundrel. He’s a tall glass of sexy and you are going to want to drink from it. But, there is more to the man than meets the eye. His drinking, partying and sleeping around are coping mechanisms, his way of drawing attention away from the real issue. The prince is dyslexic and despite everything, he suffers greatly because of it. Jacinthe/Jazz is a reporter and not just any reporter. She’s the reporter that has been a pain in the side, of the monarchy for years. She is vocal about her dislike for royals and their privileged life.
Silas and Jazz meet and it is on! From their very first meeting (in costume) to the very end, they burn up the page with their off the charts chemistry. Never have I ever enjoyed watching two people go at it, both inside and outside the bedroom, more than these two. The stars align and when Jazz and Silas finally get their happily ever after it is perfect. I loved how they both made sacrifices for their family and that it made their life together all the more sweeter. Rogue Prince gets the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!

I absolutely love Lilian Monroe’s Royal books and the Nord Kingdom certainly lived up to my expectations. All the books in this trilogy provided an entertaining story, wonderful characters, angst, heart ache, redemption, and love. It’s tough to pick a favorite because each of the royals is completely different, but if I had too, I’d pick Ice Queen. My heart hurt for the Queen’s journey. Having to always put an entire Kingdom before your happiness after you’ve suffered so much loss. She is one strong woman. I recommend this series and all of Lilian Monroe’s Royal books. Each is different, but I think you’ll love them just as much as me.

This boxset contains the three Nords Royally Unexpected books, Lone Prince, Ice Queen, and Rogue Prince. I loved these books where we've moved from the Kingdom of Farcliff to the northern Kingdom of Nord located near the Artic Circle. It's colder and a harsher environment ruled by Queen Penelope. These stories are about Prince Wolfe, Queen Penelope and Prince Silas. They're well written, entertaining, and can be enjoyed without reading the previous books in the Royally Unexpected series. If you love a good unexpected royal pregnancy books, you'll love this boxset.

This trilogy brings us 3 books from the Nord Royal Family. It includes "Lone Prince," "Ice Queen", and "Rogue Prince." I can't really pick out a favorite because they were all so different. The characters were complex and all had HEA's. I really enjoy Ms. Monroe's books. You will not be disappointed in this trilogy. I highly recommend it. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

Oh loved the kingdom of Nord!! Wolfe, Rowan, Pen, Asher, Silas, and Jazz were great characters! I loved every second of these books!!

I always head for Lillian's books when Looking for a little spice in my reading. She tells a great story and these were no exception!
