That's all my father left me on a bloody note with four names. That note is my hit list. I will find out who killed my father.
And I will have revenge.
Each of these men is rich, powerful, and gorgeous.
Magnus may be a giant Viking, but he has the sensitive heart of an artist.
Tattoo covered, Bratva leader Yuri bleeds danger.
Chess master Talon is the polar opposite of his wild twin, Vice.
They make me burn with desire, but any one of them could have killed my father. How can I give in to temptation when I don't know the truth?
I'm not the only one hunting. When bullets start flying, it's up to me to keep my men safe. Until I have my answers, these men are mine and mine alone.
And if anyone's going to kill them, it will be me.
Author’s Note: This book contains four swoon-worthy alpha males, one kick ass heroine, cursing, steamy sex, plenty of action and dark suspense and lots of sass. If you like books where the heroine never has to choose just one, then this is for you.
4.4 stars. This was kind of a confusing beginning, if I’m honest. We start right in the action, the guys all just go along with everything with seemingly zero hesitation, and there’s some kind of subplot that hasn’t been revealed yet. I’m intrigued. But the sex didn’t make any sense for this book, and that coming from someone who Loves a fast burn, Loves an insta love. The problem is. This isn’t that. So the emotions just weren’t there and it was making me wanna skip the sex so I could get more of the development first. Not something I usually even think.😂
Rogue CIA agent Rayne (FMC) and her technical expect friend Trib are on their own mission. To find out which one of four men - Talon, Vice, Magnus and Yuri were the cause of her fathers death. I liked the relationship Rayne and Trib had but i also felt that more could been told about their background together. About how they became friends......etc. Which im interested to know. Also i really want to know about the guys too. Yuri and Magnus especially. Magnus is a dark horse and it feels like there was much more to him than what we found out in this book. That ending though was just killer!! Im hoping theres more books coming than just this one? It felt like it wasnt finished yet. Anyway this was a cracking read and i really enjoyed reading it
I really got sucked into this book, not one page let's you go without so many questions. We meet Rayne and Trib as Rayne goes in search of information over her father's death. With four men on her list of possible suspects this starts off her journey. With some hot scenes and many many twists and turns things I saw coming and others I didn't. Made this book such a wicked read that I can't wait to find out what happens next.
What kind of CIA agent makes up her cover on the fly instead of doing her bloody homework? And when told that her cover isn't working and the mark's computer doesn't need fixing, immediately drops to her knees to plant listening devices under his desk desk, claiming to check the wires anyway? Could she have been any more obvious? This is ridiculous. I didn't read beyond chapter two.
A CIA assassin going rogue, trying to find out who killed her father years ago. Possible suspects: Twin billionairs, an art teacher and a Bratva leader. Things get complicated when it turns out Rayne isn't the only hunter stalking its prey...
I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this book. First of all: it is important not to think things through too much. If you start doing that, some parts of the story or reactions of the characters feel weird and out of context. But if you just let the story come to you and let yourself enjoy the interactions between the characters it is really good. I loved the interactions between the characters. While it's a single POV, you still get a feel for the sibling-love vs. -rivalry that exists between the twin brothers. None of these characters are what you would expect: a bratva leader who visits a psychologist, an art teacher built like a Viking, an assassin who likes to spend all her money on new clothes, ... It's fun, and still filled with a lot of action and suspense. I'm definitely going to check out the rest of the series.
The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created. The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind.
I don;t quite understand why Rayne wants to find out who killed her father after 10 years have gone by, but she throws herself into it with gusto. She has 4 suspects: 4 handsome men that she not only suspects, but at some point also has to help and protect. She;s kind of a super woman, who can do anything, is fun, sassy, witty, pretty, sexy. The way she seeked introduction to the men was great! She has a good tech geek friend who supports her in her search. Although the men are her suspects, there is also mutual attraction. While other problems come her way, the men wonder who she is. Its a fun, entertaining story, well written, easy to read, if a little over the top at times. The men have interesting characters. Im curious about the next part, and also whether her friend will also get some male attention.

I was offered the first 3 books in this series to read from Booksprout and from the blurb it looked intriguing so I thought, what the heck, let's give it a try. Be careful what you try cause this is was just so-so at best, and I have 2 more books to read! Rayne Taylor is a rouge CIA agent on a vendetta to find her father's murderer. The only clue she has are 4 names on a piece of paper found near her father's body. 4 men, 4 names, that's it. The first 2 men are twin billionaires Vice and Talon, then Yuri, a Bratva kingpin, and last a Swedish viking of a man, Magnus The problem is this book is slow paced, a very slow steam build, and frankly pretty all over the place. I have the first 3 books and am obligated to read them, but I hope there is a drastic pick up in action, because this was pretty hard to read for me.

Rayne is a CIA operative that has gone rogue. She and her friend, Trib launch a job to find out who killed Rayne's father and eliminate that person. Trib is a hoot with her computer cracking and bugging skills. Rayne is a trained deadly assassin. She hunts down each man and starts to get to know them. She is attracted to all of them and some sexy times ensue. In the middle of her operation someone starts trying to kill her targets. She has to save them, figure out what is going on with the energy company, keep the CIA from eliminating her and STILL figure out who killed her father. All the guys act innocent and don't give away many clues. The book ends on kind of a cliff hanger so I hope there is a second book to tie up all the loose ends.

I read this book in 4 hours…and not because it was addicting Everything is super fast burn, the character introductions, the plot, the smut, the author basically just slapped everything she could onto the paper as fast as she could because that’s how it feels. Simply put; it’s terribly written almost like a Wattpad FF from 2014, i got major deja vu The FMC is apparently an ex CSI member but my god, no wonder she was fired bc she may be badass but it just feels forced and she just stumbles through life & every missions while explained good was just ridiculous. The whole story is a good idea but badly executed
The only reason why I read until the third book (I discontinued bc it was terrible!) were the men especially Yuri & Vice but even they weren’t good enough to keep me reading.
Don’t waste your time with this, thank me later ;)
Rayne lost her dad when she was seventeen. He had a note with four names and said - He Betrayed Me. Now, her time has come as a CIA agent with training to do the job right. Rayne meets each of the four, gets to know them sometimes intimately, and looks for any clues to who killed her father. Suddenly someone else is after them as well as the CIA thinking she has gone rogue. Oh, the tangled webs we weave. The characters are strong and determined, with great backstories. The storyline is well written with plenty of surprises and twists. Many questions are left with a cliffhanger ending. Can not wait for the next book.

I'm just writing the review of the whole series, including the extra novellas in between, here. It was a truly wonderful experience reading such an amazing series. To be honest, I hadn't expected it to be this good. I love RH so I saw the series and was like, let's give this series a go, and it truly blew my mind. It was so good, all the suspense and romance with a (little) bit drama. Since I love a kick ass heroine in my books, this series has become one of my favorites. Would truly recommend it to someone whose interests are in the same genre as mine. Kudos to the author for such a beautiful genre!! And I think this is the first series of the author (correct me if I am wrong) so all my heartiest gratitude for this amazing series, and best wishes for future ones.
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This book starts off the four part series involving Rayne and her men. She is highly trained killer that must get to answers about the murder of her father. With the help of her friend, she sets out on her own with the four men on her radar. Things quickly become even more complicated than she imagined once she meets them. I thought that it is a well written rh storyline. All of the characters were interesting and made it hard to put down. Cliffhanger into book two.

I REALLY hate cliffhangers! At least let purchasers know there are multiple books to finish one story! Rayne is a CIA agent gone rogue all to find out who killed her dad. 4 men. 2 are twins and billionaires, 1 is a Swedish art teacher, and the other is the head of the Russian Bratva. Lots of drama, running, fighting, and planting cameras and tracking chips. All to come to the end of this story with only more questions. If you want to know, one has to buy the next book. 😡. Overall quality of writing was really good with well rounded characters and storyline.
This is the 1st book in the new Rayne Taylor series, and this is a dark reverse harem series. This is a new author for me but the book caught my eye and I am so glad that I gave it a shot because the author shows real promise. The storyline was great, the characters and world were both engaging and exciting. I am excited to read the next book in the series to see what this talented author has in store for us.

At seventeen Rayne found her father murdered and a note with four names. Years later and she's ready to get the truth. Their wealth and power won't save these four gorgeous men when she gets the truth, she's a trained killer and she wants her father's killer dead. Wow, fascinating and well written characters, they all have secrets and I can't wait to know what they are hiding! Exciting and action packed read with plenty of sizzle. Fantastic beginning to what I think will be a sensational series.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
I really enjoyed this work, the author had me giggling all the way through the work with her wit and banter between the characters. The story was amazing and by the end I was left wondering how well I really knew the main character. I loved how it ended and am eager to read the next in the series. I really want to know what happens next. The plot was fantastic with twists and turns, and the characters were great, I can't wait to see what happens next.
Five out of five stars.

this was fun!! it goes at a quick clip and really sucks you in with questions about what’s really going on behind the scenes.
rayne is a fun character because she’s tough and strong, but she’s not mean or callous or caustic.
there could be a little more specificity to her cia job, it feels a little squiggly to me that she just makes up her cover stories along the way. that would’ve gotten her killed long before now.
but still, this is an interesting example of a book that really grabs you and makes you want to know what’s next!
Rayne wants revenge she wants answers and she doesn't care what she has to do to get them and one bloody clue leads her too 4 very hot guys. Everyone she gets around ends up in danger and shot at its one minute of danger to the next with plenty of sexy times. My only complaint was I wish there was more character development between everyone just not the steamy your great stuff.
I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
This is the first book by this author I have read, it's also the first book in a new series, this one is about Rayne and her quest to discover who murdered her father. She has four names, the names belong to four hot guys. Will she be able to get close to them without succumbing to their charms? The storyline flows well and includes lots of twists I was hooked into the story but then it ended in a cliffhanger something I wasn't expecting, I hope we find out what happens in the next book.
Rayne found her father murdered at the young age of seventeen. A note was there with four names on it. Rayne is a CIA operative. Rayne has trained to be a deadly assassin. Rayne is out looking for who killed her father. Rayne will do anything to get the answers. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. I really enjoyed reading this book. There are twists as Rayne tries to figure out who killed her dad. I was ready to give it 5 stars, but it ended in a cliffhanger and I had no idea it would do that. Will we find out what happens?

That is how I felt after reading this book. The book had so much potential but fell short of its goal. The storyline was all over the place and I am still trying to figure out who is the guilty party. Still confused.

ok this was not at all what i expected .. and then such an ending .. pfff I want to read the rest .. I also enjoyed the story, wonderfully over the top with the action but easy to read.. as well as the chemistry between the characters. 5 stars from me.. I had a lot of fun with it

Rayne is on a mission to discover who killed her father she tracks down each one of the men who is a suspect and soon sparks are flying between her and all four of them. Will she discover the truth? Great start to a new series and looking forward to the next book. Fast-paced reverse harem read with plenty of drama, suspense and steam. I liked it.
even though I picked it up free I wasted my time reading it wondering how it would end, only to find a non-ending, obviously hoping the reader would buy the next in the series. None of the questions raised came even close to being answered. And I’ll not waste any more time.
Interesting book to read. This is a first in four books (wish I would have known) in a mystery about who killed Rayne's father. She gets involved with these four men who she believes one is the killer. The life they lead becomes more complicated each day, as they are found and someone trying to kill them.
Arc review I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Rayne and trib her best friend looking for rayne 's fathers killer . both are CIA gone rogue Rayne is a assassin and trib is a hacker . Awesome story
Wow! You will be kept on the edge of your seat from beginning to the end! So many questions, no answers! Who are the good guys and who are the bad? None is whom they seem to be? Will she ever find the truth? Who murdered her father? Who set her up?
