Aiming to be a low-level text to get in touch with some popular concepts that one hears pretty often when your line of work lies somewhere in the tech field, the result is an almost childish 21st-century capitalism pamphlet. Relevant and complex concepts, such as big data or blockchain aren't explained at all but simply praised without any real aim to increase the reader's knowledge about anything. The absurd writing and the totally pathetic figures that show up between the paragraphs made me wonder whether any of these guys actually had a PhD and, if they did, where did they get it.
Unfortunately, it's not even worth a fast diagonal reading: there must be better introductory texts about these fields somewhere.
