So much fun!!!

This book as well as the others in the Unicorn Jazz series is beautifully illustrated and flows very nicely along with the story. The story itself is wonderful. It teaches children about phonics, poetry and what different ocean animals in the sea were kike and what they do. One of my favorites is the parrot fish. It is amazing that it can change between male and female and looks beautiful. Of course, I can't leave the narwhal out. Unicorns are my spirit animal and narwhals are the unicorns of the sea. Loved this book as well as the others written by Lisa Caprelli. Never the same and always fun. I always look forward to each one she writes.

"Ocean Animals: Unicorn Jazz Unicorn Book Series" is a unique book written using haiku. The animals first explain what haiku means and then list sea animals in alphabetical order. Each animal has a haiku poem written on a brightly colored page. The poems provide information about each animal in a fun way.
It is a fun and educational book all in one.
This book is a fun way for kids to learn about syllables as well as different forms of poetry.
I would recommend this book to kids around ages 6-8. It would make a great poetry resource for classrooms or homeschooling.
