Sigh. I thought it was the last one. It’s IS the last one, the last one to be TRANSLATED. I’m an idiot and it makes me sad I have to stop reading here for the moment. The H is getting somewhat better, but the h still has no idea how to communicate properly and that’s annoying. 3, I’m disappointed, stars.

I devoured all 19 volumes of Defying Kurosaki-kun over the last week. This is a beautiful story of Yu and Haruto's relationship as it grows from nothing to sweet romance. Haruto's always been a loner except for Takumi who's been his only friend until Yu comes into his life. The story is about the relationship between Yu and Haruto but Takumi is such a intricate part of the story.

I really loved Yu as a character she's this bright ball of sunshine who's reinvented herself now that she's in high school and growing so much into this character you just cheer on. Haruto is cold and demanding in the beginning but we get to see him slowly start to grow as the series progresses. He builds friendships, reconnects to his family and he learns so show Yu how much she means to him.

I truly enjoyed the series even if I had a few moments where I wanted to reach through the book and stab Haruto for being stupid. it's a whirlwind sweet love story that I'm so sad to see ending. I wish that this series wouldn't have ended because I wanted more of Yu and Haruto's story. I wanted Takumi to find his happy ever after too. I do hope maybe one day we will get more. This is one of my top favorite series. Highly recommend if you are a fan of the grumpy/sunshine trope it fits really well. The artwork is beautifully done. I loved it so much the whole story.

Great episode!

Barbara Kelley

This was Volume 16 of Defying Kurosaki-kun, and I can hardly wait for Volume 17. This is one of my favorite manga series and I want many, many more of them. Yu has remembered that she loves Kurosaki. Shirakawa is not interfering with Yu and Kurosaki, but Haru's older brother, Sakura Kurosaki, who is 10 or 12 years older than Haru, is causing a lot of headaches. Sakura rents a love hotel room for Haru and Yu. Will the two of them finally go all the way? I gave this volume 5 stars.

Interesting way to take "things back". Shows how much she has really changed in person. Albeit I literally gasped that this is happening after 55 chapter. I feel bad for Kurosaki and hope he treats her better but this also has me kind of happy for Takumi. I got to see where this goes!

3.5 glad the amnesia plot is over but now another wrench in their relationship? I wish we could just like a full volume of them being cute and him maybe a little dom
