This is my second book by this author and the first book's hero set the bar high. This hero was hard to like and almost caused me to DNF. He was really a jerk most of the story and by the time he started to redeem himself, I didnt think he deserved the heroine. However, it's safe so if you can get past his douchy behavior, you will probably enjoy it.
-no cheating
-no ow/om drama
-safe- neither with others after meeting
-no violence of any nature
-just ok epilogue that was only 2 years out

Not sure why, but as much as I love Tory Baker, this was not a read I enjoyed.
Too much cursing? Negativity.

I honestly thought Spreading Christmas Joy was going to be more of an erotic read but it ended up being a sweet story of a reclusive writer Eb who moves in next door to the woman the town has dubbed "Christmas Joy". Her infectious holiday spirit and sweet nature manage to give Eb a new appreciation for the holidays. There are steamy scenes that keep that holiday spirit going.

This kind of fell apart. Fun premise, but the way he lied to get in her pants, then the blow up at the end and forgiveness in the blink of an eye...didn’t love it.

Spreading Christmas Joy
I first read this one when it was released last year. It's so good that I just had to read it again this year. I wouldn't hesitate to say that it is definitely in my top 10 favorite short Christmas stories. It's lust/love at first sight. Eb is kind of a jerkface in the beginning BUT just like the Grinch that Stole Christmas his heart grew and grew in the end and they find their happily ever after. 100% safe from any kind of abuse, cheating and there's no ow/om drama. Would make a very good Hallmark movie (but with a lot more steamy scenes)

Short and steamy
Joy owns the best bakery is this little town. Christmas is a special season for her, its her favorite season and the town actually gave her the nickname Christmas Joy. Eb is new in town, renting a house in a quite neighborhood, so he thought, until the next door neighbor lights up her front yard. Annoyed by the bright lights he puts up blackout curtains, Eb isn't a Christmas person, or even a people person and he under a deadline to get his manuscript out. Then Joy appears at his door with Christmas cookies in hand and all he thinks about is getting her under him. So he sets a plan to have her decorate his house, but she gets under his skin. Hot, kinky sex for a few weeks and as he gets to know her all he wants is to spend time with her and she wants the same fall for him. Then when an agreement between Eb's agent and him that Joy overheard his world comes crashing down. He has to get his girl back. So he sets his mind to fix this and have what his life has been missing. Will Joy forgive him? Will she have the HEA they both crave?

Good
Eb is definitely not the most likeable guy in the world. He’s basically an a** who only thinks about himself. He definitely only wants one thing from Joy in the beginning and it’s not her Christmas cookies. Joy is a happy go lucky woman who loves the holiday. Her joy and love rub off on Eb and really transform him into a better man. I did wish she made him grovel more in the end, I hate it when the guy gets off with just a basic apology.
Overall this is a quick and sexy Christmas story!

Completely safe. No om/ow drama, H does cause drama with an overheard conversation he had with his agent. H seems to be a former manwhore and h has had a few partners in the past. No abuse.

Best selling author, EB Mason, Eb, Hayes Christmas, doesn't like people much in general. He moved to the small town to concentrate on his best book. Things aren't going well. Then his neighbor Joy shows up.with cookies and offers to help him decorate for Christmas.
Eb likes what he sees and Joy may be just the distraction he needs. When the truth comes out, Eb will do anything to get Joy back.
Fast paced and steamy. Eb is a possessive,.dirty talking caveman. Joy is sweet, kind and a little naive.

This was a super cute story!
Joy is the owner of the town bakery and a huge Christmas fan, the people in town call her Christmas Joy because she loves its so much.
When Eb (yup think Ebenezer) moves in next door, however with Mr. Grinch & Christmas Joy get along? Well let's just say that holiday spirit always win and the hearts of all can grow 3 sizes!
This book was a lot of fun, not the usual super sweet Christmas romance...instead it's a book showing the power of the season and a genuinely joyful woman and what that can do to the most anti-Christmas guy out there!

Eb is a grumpy author , he actually isn't that friendly to people . He also hates Christmas .
Joy absolutely loves Christmas, but her new neighbour doesn't have any decs up . If he doesn't put them up soon their street will loose the best decorated street award , which they've won every year . Joy being a good neighbour knocks on his door & offers to help him.
Once Eb sees Joy he wants her in his bed, so he lies, but the lie turns to love .

Everyone needs a little Christmas Joy!
I liked this story a lot. It was short but entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. Eb (Eben) was very Scrooge like but Joy helped him without even knowing that she was helping him. Eb had plans for Joy only for them to be interrupted by his agent. Joy was wonderful. She loved Christmas and wanted everyone else to love it as well. I loved their happy ever after. The only thing that could have made it better would be for Joy to tell Eb her news. I recommend reading this book.

Joy and Ebb
I was a bit disappointed with this one. Ebb wasn't a likeable H for most of the story, laser focus on getting in between sweet Joy's legs. I felt like he totally deceived her and took advantage of her feelings for him and sweet nature.
Tory Baker made such a good job making Eb unlikeable that when he finally repented ( only after Joy overheard him saying he just was in on it for the sex) ...I didn't and couldn't believe his sudden change of heart.
Hated how easily she forgave him especially after she heard him say all those awful things about her.

Eb and Joy Flow
This is a Christmas story about an (unexplained) obsession, and pretending. Not usually the best relationship fodder, but at this time of year, stranger things are possible! There's plenty of steamy scenes, and though a lot of the motivations remain statements and not concepts explored in the text, it's a quick, decent read.

This book caught my eye iv been trying to get into the holiday spirit and it calked to me.
This book is about Joy who loves Christmas and Eb who hates it with a passion, and how both work there way towards one another.
I really enjoyed this book and il be getting more of the authors work immediately.

This was such a cute book, Joy runs a bakery and she loves Christmas, it’s her favorite time of the year. EB is writer and he hates Christmas until Joy knocks on his door with a container of cookies. EB one goal is to get into joys pants, however he realized the more he hangs with her the more he likes Christmas and her.

Totally amazing
OMG I absolutely loved this book! Eb is a scrooge when it comes to Christmas, but Joy's about to change that! I absolutely love these two , it is truly an awesome story. Without giving away to much. It's naughty with just the right amount of nice! This is definitely my favorite so far!!!

Good stuff
I read her second book first and really enjoyed it, so even though it's almost Valentine's Day, I decided to read this one too. Short and sweet but very well written. I'm glad up stumbled across this new author. I look forward to reading more of her work!

Such a great Christmas read
Eb and Joy's book was a fast paced, instalove, sexy story. Tori Baker is a fantastic writer! When a book can suck you in right away and not let go until the last page, you know it's a great book!
