6 of 16, I probably should have went to bed on 5. I mean they can't screw up the end of this Cable run can th.... Oh yeah, they can, they did.
I seem to be in a minority in my dislike but I'm frustrated as it sums up my marvel irritations neatly. Nothing ever changes.
A whole lot has happened that ultimately...... Amounts to absolutely sod all. A 12 issue series to re-introduce old Cable.... Why get rid of him if he is always coming back?
Some pretty little bow tying and teasing the future but seriously, who cares as the future never happens in Marvel.
I love Deadpool but I really don't understand why he was in this, I love Domino but she said nothing and the rest just plodded along...
You could skip all 12 issues and not miss anything at all, it doesn't effect anything.
That panel might have just trumped "I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy..."
Good way to close out the series. Issue has excellent pacing and Noto's art style suits both Duggan's writing and the character of Cable. Also I would do anything for a team of Deadpool, Domino, any of the Cuckoos, Cable, Scott, and Jean.
I'm really sad to see Young Cable go, I've enjoyed his character a lot and I thought the family dynamic that we've never been able to experience before was great. I'll miss Esme's cute little nose the most

The Cable solo series ultimately comes to a somewhat downbeat but very fitting end. Cable teams up with older self and his extended family (oh, and Deadpool) to take down Stryfe, but that's not really the point of this issue.
The point of this issue is really to tie things up with him and Esme, and that's done beautifully. I felt a lump in my throat as they sat and watched the sunset together for the last time, not knowing if they'd ever se each other again or what the future holds for either of them. But, of course, we have the older Cable, who knows exactly what the future holds, and so we got a little glimpse into the future of Nate and Esme, which made me smile.
The art is superb, of course, it's Phil Noto, and I've long been a fan of his. He tends to shine in those small, emotional beats, rather than the big action set pieces. This might have made him an odd choice for a Cable book, but this book was never about action. Personally that's what I loved about it. Your mileage may vary, of course.
This series will be sorely missed, as will the young version of Cable. Hopefully this isn't the last we'll see of him. I'm sure the older Cable will be back soon in his own solo title...and maybe he'll be fighting side by side with an older, wiser version of Esme Cuckoo? I'd enjoy that.

A pretty great conclusion, I'm so glad this title ended up making some sense. I'm a little confused what happened at the very end with Old Cable. I wonder what any version of Cable's continuing role in Krakoa will be. I liked Stryfe's attempt to get amnesty, and both Cables ignoring him. Yep, this titled ended up pretty great. Oh and a quick addition to #11, I loved Cable hugging Hope after being resurrected. I love that they don't forget that relationship.
A really good ending for both the Kid Cable saga and the return of Old Man Cable. Now, having this anchor for OMC as a young man and really comprehending what he's about to go through, the Cable we know and love has even more pathos.
Loved the art and the reveal at the end. However I feel this was wrapped up to quickly. Like they got word of a cancellation 3 days before print and had to close up storylines. Still not a bad read but since I love Cable.
