The concept of THE 2 DEGREE DIFFERENCE is that making small changes can make a major difference in your life.

The book is half-story, half-journal. The first half tells a story of a man who turned his life around by small changes, and the second half is a journal so that you, too, can make small changes and reap the benefits.

I have yet to complete the journal (the book is not my personal copy, so I don't feel comfortable doing that), but I really enjoyed the story. In the time since I read the book, I have been on the lookout for small things that I can do to positively impact my life.

To make lasting changes - you have to make them one step (or one inch or 2 degrees) at a time. Need to lose 100 pounds? Eat salad at lunch and lose the first pound. Need to exercise? Walk around the block, then 2 blocks, then 1/4 mile... Build up to it slowly instead of trying to kill yourself in a marathon the first week. The book has plenty of common sense solutions to EVERY problem. Worth reading through!

I loved the book's whole premise that little things can change everything. He gave many good examples.
