Quantomeno è un numero pieno di combattimenti, il che è il meglio che si possa dire.

Abbiamo la guardia imperiale messa ko e/o massacrata senza sforzo da un gruppo di alieni fatti arrivare da Gyrich; abbiamo forze di sicurezza nulle in occasione dell'arrivo di un'imperatrice alleata; abbiamo un tradimento gratuito, senza preavvisi di sorta.
Abbiamo gente che non sarebbe dovuta essere alleata di Orchis che invece è lì a complottare con loro, abbiamo Cable che dopo essere tornato si è accomodato tranquillamente al posto del Kid senza mandare tutti a quel paese andandosene per i fatti suoi.

Bah.
Abbiamo tanto, non tutto pieno di senso ma quasi tutto caotico.
E la trama della serie pare essere "il grande piano segreto che Abigail sta preparando, accenno velato dopo accenno velato", qualcosa che di questo passo non verrà svelato prima della chiusura della serie.

Happy to see more of Xandra, honestly. But the way her bodyguards were killed off in this was brutal to read. I suppose they were minor and therefore dispensable characters, with no possibility of being resurrected? A pity.

This follows the comic trope I hate the most, namely, the running commentary of the characters actions, by the characters themselves.

I shall punch you.
Haha, I shall punch you.
Now despair as I kick you.
The world shall fear my headbutt in return.

Etc etc blah blah bluuuurgh.

On the positive side we have had 2 issues of this title without being interrupted by a genetic crossover. On the negative side it still ain't really establishing a narrative.

The great news? Wizz kid (still, you serious marvel?) Is evil? Please can Cable put a bullet in his head and do away with this awful character? Pretty please?

I knew that egotistical little sit was the mole.
The battle screen was super cool. I feel like S.W.O.R.D. finally found its voice and it's a good one. This is why excessive cross-overs are bad for everyone.

Now that was some brutality. Really want to see more of Deathbird and her interactions with the crown.
