Oh my lux… sorry this is my new saying and you will only get it if you have read the others in this series BUT oh my LUX!
This was crazy and devastating and tough and brutal and simply amazing, so all the feels!
It’s longer that the predecessors of this series or was it my needing a wee time out due to the harshness or darkness. That’s not in any way shape or for, a bad thing. No it’s showing how utterly flooring this one is! The end wow my mind is completely blown. Loved it loved it loved it!!
It’s still one of my all time favourite series due to the world building from the beginning until now as it’s constantly growing and progressing. Just when you think you have figured where it’s going you get thrown a curveball by the amazing story telling by Charlie. Her writing style is so unique as the words come of the pages like you are having a conversation with your best mates. It’s truly brilliant and feels so real.
This one sets up a few more situations that you know you will get an answer to in the next book or even the next again still. You dont know what you will get and it makes you think for ages after.
I found myself looking up events true life events and weirdly comparing the fantasy aspects to real life.
I could not recommend this series more but each book must be read carefully and in order. Trust me the smallest mention can have the biggest impact later and you will love it.

Be still my heart!! All the feels and ugly tears will surface and just when you think you've got nothing left, there's more!! I don't think I have actually laughed out loud while reading a book so many times in one book ever! I can't wait for the next book!! The writing style is so unique and yet so perfectly common that I can place myself directly in so many of the character's shoes.....for all the good AND bad!
Charlie, all the ugly tears I thought I already cried came again, but worse! I love all the characters and I swear...one day...this will be a Netflix binge show!!

Absolutely amazing series! I read origins 1st then eluding destiny series and I Absolutely loved connecting the dots as I went along. I am going to jump straight in to arcane gods.
I cannot get enough of Charlie's Writing. She is brilliant at bringing out a whole range of emotions while you are reading.
There is some big triggers in this series, which I have put in my review of eluding destiny.

Speechless
I’m at a loss for words. I’m broken but somehow whole? I’ve cried and felt my heart shatter more times than I can count while reading this book. I thought I was prepared but I was so very unprepared. And yet I loved every second. I’m never going to get over how much this series means to me and I’m so ready for the next chapter in Laila and Jeremy’s story!

This was very good, and I am excited to see what happens in the next novel. There were definitely some loops I wasn't ready for, so that was incredibly interesting. I will say that while it was good, there was something that wasn't doing it for me, but I can't say what. For this being book 9, they are still riveting and worth every moment.

This book was a roller coaster ride. I love this book, I love these Characters they feel soooo real to me that my heart breaks right along with them.
I really enjoyed the glimpse in this one. Although the feel of the book is more somber, I really enjoyed it.

Cliff hanger
It would of been nice to have a clean ending. I like your book the most,the pace wss nice,the story exiting.The ending was a bit anti climatic but it opened it for the next series.

I’m obsessed
Great read! Can’t put it down! Makes me late for work! Ha but it has everything mystery, romance, time travel, superhumans, apocalypse and a lil humor! Easy series to read and lose yourself for a little while. Wonderful author!

it just keeps getting better!
This series is fantastic! Just when you think things will end, Charlie throws in a huge twist! I’m here for it! Can’t wait for the next book!

While some of the story really hurts the brain, I think it was done really well and really helps tie the series together as it continues.

It took me so long to finish this book. Don’t get me wrong, the writing was good but it was slow at times. I didn’t keep my interest like the other books.
