This was such a fun read, my nephew loved it and read it a few times.
SuperTato has to try and comfort all the veg and fruit in the supermarket when they get scared after hearing creaks and groans.
What could it be?
SuperTato needs to find out.
A lovely, engaging read for young and early readers.

Excellent. All the ups and downs and suspense you want in an attention-grabbing bedtime read. Great vocabulary too (trembling, quivering, quaking). Scary shadows have simple explanations, but wait! Oh, yes, that one did too, ha ha. But what are these hoards of darkness, clutching at Supertato's cape, and why?!

Lots of dialogue and great design. We definitely read this in April and not October and it wasn't Halloweeny at all so didn't matter. ;)

Tiny tot loved the meta-book content at the end...

You don’t need to read these in order.
Each book is a funny story on its own.
Love the bunny slippers on Supertato.
