Actually, the full title is, "The Magic Table Cloth, the Magic Goat, and the Hitting Stick" which I think is pretty much the best title ever and it really tells you all you need to know about this story. My favorite picture (blue and turquoise line drawings) is of gold coins falling out of the goat's mouth. But my favorite line form the book is "Hit, stick, hit".

An adaption of the Germanic traditional tale, this fable like fairytale was quite enjoyable with what seemed to be the moral "what goes comes around comes around".
