I didn't realize how much I missed Isabella and Giovanni until I picked up this book again! This one broke my heart through the entirety of it I'm not going to lie. Seeing these two characters go through the struggle of not being together because of something Giovanni did but still loving each other hurt my heart. I am not sure how Isabella was so damn strong through their ups and downs and I give her a lot of credit. And Giovanni damn that man never gives up and everyone deserves a man who loves her the way he loves Isabella. This book does have a happy ending you just have to read the whole thing to get there. I'm excited but nervous to start book three because I don't want their story to be over!
Boy this book was a rollercoaster of emotions. I was so happy when I found out that the baby wasn’t even his. The accident has me crying, shaken, and throwing up 😂😂

OMG!!! Yesterday I finished the first book. More than once. I just finished More than this. I can say that I just loved it. Dual POV. Lots of emotions. The last chapter I cried like a baby. I can’t wait for the last book. However I don’t know why, I have a feeling we will be seeing more of Lorenzo. Hope I’m wrong. I hope he won’t come back and try to sabotage Giovanni and Isabella happiness. They suffered a lot with Casey. Even I feel a little bad for her but man she put them through hell. This book is full of emotion and desire. The fact that they always come back to each other it’s so beautiful. I can’t wait for the last one and see what will their life together be like ♥️
Over the course of Isabellas and Giovannis relationship they suddenly go through a break due to the fact that an ex-fling of Giovanni suddenly comes out to say she’s pregnant and it’s his. But Isabella and Giovanni just can’t seem to let each other go. I really love the fact that they always found a way back to each other, they are literally meant to be!! The angst hit hard, it’s funny that even though I knew what was going to happen( due to the fact that this is a reread) I still got surprised and super happy haha. They literally have to be my favorite couple, and I can’t wait to read the next book and see what happens next ahhhh so excited. I also really didn’t mind the drama, I think it made their relationship stronger. Also the dual POV YESSSS we live for that, I loved loved seeing Giovanni POV and seeing his thoughts!! Definitely pick up the gorgeous series, and maybe after reading you’ll love them as much as I do <3
Ok, first of all, I read it in a couple of hours which, for me, is pretty fast 😄
Dual POVs and Barcelona are 🔥🙌🏼 I totally would want to visit some of the places mentioned in the book, and to hear Giovanni’s POV was interesting 💖
Buuut I couldn’t help but think that as you read, you get the same thoughts over and over again from both of them 😕 there isn’t much going on apart from Izzy being angry and wanting Giovanni, and Giovanni drinking and missing Izzy 😕 BUUUUT. I do get how you may find this book appealing if you want to read about heartbreak, jealousy, trying to move on *unsuccessfully*
I guess if you read this book it wouldn’t be for the action 😄 but for the heartache 💔❤️🩹
To sum up, I really wish Izzy and Giovanni have had some time apart (a couple of months, maybe 6?) : Izzy could have finished their cafe, Giovanni could have dealt with Casey and come up with a plan to win Izzy back ☺️
I feel like “More than” series could be a TV series or a film, the story is * and I don’t like the word* cliché and I would totally watch it for the vibe of a spicy romcom 💯
First off, I love this series and for it to be published is so amazing & everyone can enjoy reading about Isabella and Giovanni’s story. Congratulations Dominique! So happy for you! 💘
Ahem, now let’s get to all the juicy, good stuff that happened in this book. This book is the sequel to the first book, “More Than Once”, and if you read the first book you know that it ended… in a dramatic way, a cliffhanger that personally left me in shock and in a emotional hangover. The story picked up right where the cliffhanger ended and it was right off the bat a emotional rollercoaster (but in the best way possible). My heart broke for how much Isabella and Giovanni went through in this book due to the obstacles they were faced. As much as both Isabella and Giovanni tried to stay away from each other, it was never possible since they were meant to be, and the love between was so powerful and electrifying.
If I were to choose a couple of words to describe this book I would choose, passion, heartbreak, slight angst, heartfelt, and eye opening. As much as Isabella tried to rationalize that moving on from Giovanni was the right choice, my poor friend couldn’t resist the pull that Giovanni had on her, the same went for Giovanni. Isabella and Giovanni’s relationship may have started out as a “one-night stand”, but through this second book you could tell that even with so much going on around them, their love for one another kept growing, and they belonged together 🥺.
One thing I really loved about this book (among many reasons 😏) was having the chapters be in Dual P.O.V. I always find that these kinds of chapters give insight into 1) both characters and 2) little details that might have been overlooked if it was just kept to one characters p.o.v. Reading Giovanni’s perspective not only illustrated his love for Isabella, but also let us dive into his mind and listen to all the things he had to say from the problems he was faced with, and more. Dominique did a great job including Dual P.O.V with Isabella and Giovanni, I loved it 😊
I would say majority of the beginning I was feeling a bit emotional due to the circumstances of Isabella and Giovanni having to deal with a lot and not to mention briefly being broken up 😭. Definitely felt some angsty vibes while reading due to the back and forth of Isabella and Giovanni being unable to stay away from each other, and resulting in them constantly being like, “no we can’t be together”, but then somehow being unable to get tangled up in each other’s fierce, passionate embrace well into the night ❤️🔥.
As I mentioned before (in a previous review), this isn’t my first time reading this book or series. I first read, “More Than Once” and “More Than This” when Dominique had these on Wattpad. Dominique did a great job of illustrating both Isabella and Giovanni’s struggles and issues. While Isabella and Giovanni were faced with some “not so happy” news, I was very happy with the way the way things ended up working out for them. This series doesn’t hold back on the spice, romance, and the reality of relationships. Isabella and Giovanni were by no means “perfect”, they each had their own flaws, but that didn’t stop them from trying their best to change and learn from their mistakes. I absolutely love this book, and this series❤️.
By the end of this book, my heart was filled with happiness and joy 💘 I was so happy with the way the book ended on a beautiful note, and it makes me even more excited that there will be another (final) book in this beloved series. As always, I would recommend reading this book, you’ll enjoy all the descriptive details of the beautiful scenery in Spain, the passion filled romance that’ll surely leaving you with a higher heart rate, and you’ll fall in love with Isabella and Giovanni (I love them with all my heart 🥺💘).

This book for sure took me on a spin! Like dang! I don’t know how to express it! It was just right amount! The suspense the feelings you get from the character! Well done!
One of the best books I’ve read, gave me so much emotional rollercoasters but so much love. You can see the relations of the good and bad in every relationship. I love so much and definitely recommend it!!
This book was so much better than the first. I was honestly quite hesitant about continuing the story of Isabella and Giovanni after the first book because I wasn’t the biggest fan, but with the cliffhanger at the end of the first book, I just couldn’t bring myself to not pick up this book.
I’m so glad that I did pick up the second book because I absolutely devoured it. This book, the authors writing improved so much from the first book. It wasn’t as choppy and robotic like. I couldn’t put the book down once I started it and my dad had to force me to go to sleep before so even put it down.
With every turn of the page, something new was happening. The groveling in this book was so good. I loved seeing the dual points of views and getting to know what both main characters were thinking. The plot was so much better and clearer than the first book.
More Than This continues the story of Isabella and Giovanni after the first book. After a big plot twist is revealed in the first book, it puts a huge challenge in Isabella and Giovanni’s relationship. Throughout the book you see them fighting for one another and the conflict which is not external, but internal too. This book really tests this couple’s relationship to see how many challenges they can really overcome and it ultimately determines if they are really endgame or not.
After the cliffhanger of book 1 we are back with Isabella and Giovanni after their world and relationship came crashing down around them, more drama is unfolding and more secrets are being revealed and we see how Isabella and Giovanni navigate through it all. The emotions in this book are so heartbreaking and raw, they go through so many ups and downs and seeing two people in love but being pulled in different directions and wanting different things just broke my heart. We get to see a much softer and emotional side to Giovanni which I loved, everyone deserves a Giovanni someone who won’t give up and fights for those he loves. Isabella, her strength throughout this books is incredible everything is thrown at her and she still makes it out the other side of it all. I’m still obsessing over how true the description and details are of Barcelona it’s so well done that you can just picture everything and it’s definitely keeping my own memories of Barcelona alive.
This book was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions and I can’t wait to see what’s next for them in book 3
This series start Isabelle and Govanni. At first i will admit i hated him he was such a d*ck but around middle of book 2 and book 3 we get to see his true colours and we truly start to fall in love😍. Isabelle knows what she wants and what she deserves even if she doubts herself sometimes.
We have some ex’s getting in the way as well as family drama, dont forget a little sprinkle of jealousy because she feels like she’s behind.
What started as a one night stand ended up as so much more.
Govanni really was a star through the tough times when Isabelle really needed him (even if she didn’t know it yet)
Be warned please check the triggers since there are a few topics that are a bit sensitive but definitely worth the trauma if you ask me.
This book had be laughing, crying, raging and screaming all in one (my kindle almost learned how to fly guys!!!!)Like this was such an emotional rollercoaster.
Dominique i have to say you got me thinking you’ve been writing forever even of it was just your first books/ series
3.5 stars. I think this is way better than the first one. The characters did get annoying at times but it was more manageable than the first. I think the thing that kept me going through this series is the drama. Had the last one not had a cliffhanger, I probably wouldn’t even be here rn. Anyways, the story wasn’t that bad. I’m glad that there wasn’t the trope where the woman tries to forge the paternity test. I was also terrified that Giovanni’s accident would’ve had a bigger impact on him like amnesia but I’m glad that wasn’t the case.
Overall, it wasn’t that bad. I had a fun time reading and the ending is super cute.

I rated this 3.5 stars. This book focused on the obstacles in Isabella's and Giovanni's life and carried on from where it left off in the first book. This book was a rollercoaster and quite a push and pull. It was a constant notion of whether to be a couple or not to be a couple so whilst it was cute and there were some funny moments, I felt like there were some parts where it was quite repetitive. But other than that, it was a cute read.
4.5⭐️ Omg did this book take me on an emotional rollercoaster! I’m pretty sure I was crying throughout 10 chapters in a row at one point. Although this book had me throwing my phone multiple times, it is my favourite out of them so far. I can’t wait to continue reading Isabella and Giovanni’s story, however I don’t want it to end :(
I loved seeing Giovanni get jealous over Isabella’s ex and how protective he got over her and I love how Isabella showed that she can stick up for herself and how soft she made Giovanni the second he looked at her he knew she was what he wanted and he didn’t let her slip away and seeing his character development just makes me so happy there is nothing bad about this series it is just amazing.

I was so excited to read this book given how good the first one was but I was thoroughly disappointed. This book was far too repetitive and the back and forth between Giovanni and Isabella seemed like it dragged on for longer than necessary. The ending also seemed rushed.
100% honesty here. I love the story. I can defiantly see this story being a soap drama. I would binge watch it waiting to see if the couple will or wont be together. I like for that excitement. The angst isn’t lacking in this book.
The writing is still raw and off. There is still repeated information, feelings that get used over and over but its much less that the first book. Having had already gotten to beta read this particular author’s new upcoming work, I am happy to see how she has grown as a writer.
My favorite growth is her detailing in the spicy scenes because YALL THE BARN SCENE! Ooooffff!
I can’t wait to see how Gio and Isabella’s story continue in book 3.
A great continuation of the first book. Lots of ups and downs and a case of whose the daddy but it all turned out ok in the end. Interesting to see what’s to come next for the lovely Isabella and Giovanni
They call all the single ladies to the floor and she stands up. He grabs her hand and pulls her closer, "Where do you think you're going?" "They're calling all the single ladies," she says. "And that's not you," he murmus, "Or do I have to remind you?"

I’m not sure what I was expecting from this book, but it wasn’t this. The way this book was written made it hard to read. Again, everything felt very repetitive, and the ending wrapped up far too quickly.
