What happens when a seductive e-mail goes to the wrong recipient—your boss?
If Jess Tandon were any hotter, he’d be a fire hazard! The oh-so-sexy president of TLC Advertising is more than just delicious eye candy. He’s caught the eyes and heart of his normally play-it-safe executive assistant, Alexa Worthington.
Too bad the only sex Alexa is having is safe text. She’s only just gotten over tragic heartbreak in her life, but she now wants to move on. She takes a romance writing class for therapy and creates a sizzling fantasy love scene starring her boss, Jess, and herself. When she e-mails it to a friend to critique, it ends up going to the wrong recipient—to Jess himself. Is this a disaster waiting to happen—or the beginning of something too hot to handle?

When I was looking for my next book on Amazon I liked the blurb from this book so I downloaded it and started reading. I finished it in a little more than an hour appartly it was only 48 pages long. But at the end it mentioned there was a part 2. When I looked for it I saw there also is a third part. This could perfectly be one book with 209 pages instead of 3 books with less thand 100 pages.
I listened to the audiobook version of this pile of hot garbage. What a shit novel. The guy Jes or Jas idc, got an erection during a performance review. Who may I had, already has a false sexual harassment claim against him. He’s a walking HR violation. It ended with a “to be continued”. Ya, no thanks,I’m good
The beginning of the novella was great—it was funny and snarky and everything I'd hoped to see. Wrong email? Oops. It's your boss? SHIT. But after it just dove right into the whole 'let's bang' and from there I found that the development of Alexa and Jess' relationship was flat. Lacking. Basically non-existent. Sure, I understand that there was a mutual attraction, but can you really go and say you love someone just from having some intimate sex with them? The lack of development was what killed the plot for me—it was a good ride and then just a sudden death plunge. Brrr.
Jess Tandon doesn't know he inspires all sorts of naughty thoughts for his assistant Alexa Worthington. Of course when he receives her rough draft of the book she is writing, everything changes and Jess makes his move.
Fun and quick. I thought the story had enough to make you feel like you got a full story. Entertaining.
Did like this novella! Obviously wished it was longer & seemed very fast & heavy with the main characters especially when they said they loved each other while having sex for the very first time, but very well written piece! Looking forward to reading the others in this series!
A quick read, needs quite a lot of suspension of disbelief. Fun in places. Things went a little fast between fessing up to being attracted and saying 'I love you' for my taste.
This a short, fun read. I think it was a good effort on the authors part to have the book be more than just sex. Jess is Alexia's boss and the idea behind the story is that they are both attracted to the other. They hide it well for the sake of professionalism. The story bounces around a bit instead of slowly working into one scene to another.
Lex is taking a creative writing course in romance and she writes a fantasy story about her and Jess for one of her assignments. It's a sexual story but instead of sending the story to her teacher she accidentally sends it to jess. It's a fun idea but I wish as the reader I could have been there when they first met. I wish I could have got to be in Lex's thoughts more when she started to feel this attraction to her boss. For that matter I would have been just as excited to be there in Jess's head. The two start this story already established as boss and employee. Lex is being evaluated by her boss's for her work she's done for the company.
It felt a little flat without that first meet ,IMO, it was third hand information and because the book was short not much time was spent recapping it. We just open up to a scene that would be a very embarrassing moment. The other issue was their first time together having sex taking place in the office. The two are already nervous with mixing business with pleasure I couldn't believe they could just let that go being at work.
I did however like the authors choice to slowly bring the two up to that point. While I wasn't thrilled with surroundings that slow build up is what it's all about in a story such as this. It helped to balance out the things I didn't like. There are 2 more short books in the series which I may check out later and because there are more I really would have liked to have seen their first meet. I love SR's attempt to be original but for me that first moment is so important for the entire story. The one last comment I will make is Alexia's boyfriend who died two years prior. The fact that she could not talk about it without tearing up and choking back words does not imply that she's moved on to me. It was still a good attempt at entertaining her readers. Enjoy!
Shadonna Richards really takes her reader on a joy ride with her short series " Accidentally Flirting with the CEO." The reader is automatically engrossed in Alexa ( main character) panic attack as she sends an erotic email she wrote for her online class about she and her boss, to her boss on accident. The reader heart begins to race along with Alexa's as she tries everything to keep her boss from reading the email. The story goes on with many twists and turns once the boss is aware of Alexa's attraction towards him. All while Alexa is embarrassed and scared for their career because of a simple technical mistake. The reader is left wondering what happens next as the story cuts off in the middle of a work vacation.
CEO Jess Tandon, survives a scorn employees sexual harassment charge, only to be very sexually attracted to and up and coming employee in the advertising company.
Alexa Worthington is finally moving on from the loss of her boyfriend by taking a romance writing class. Using her sexy and very attractive boss as the main character in her story has not been the best idea, especially when she is so attracted to him. An email is about tho change their lives forever.
This is a fun and intriguing series that will keep you turning the pages. The author will keep you wanting more. This was a well written with great banter, and I connected with the book immediately.
Oh my lord this was STUPID. So sorry I wasted my time. I will NOT be buying the rest. If you are grown and can’t stand up to a stupid older sister then what the heck. HATED THIS BOOK.
listen, any book that has "she hearted him with all her soul" and also "i'm so glad you fit" on the SAME PAGE is a winner in my eyes (not enough of a winner to get it more than 3 stars though)
Good premise. Terrible everything else. main characters have worked together two years. She accidentally emails him something erotic for her romance class or something that her friend was supposed to read. He was involved in some scandal from an ex employee before. He was innocent but knows better than to get involved in an office romance. Still as soon as he realizes she sent it, throws all common sense out the window and they start being into one another hard. By their second kiss in chapter 6, she says she loves him and he says he loves her too. And that’s when I DNFed. How stupid. They’ve been working together two years and never once had anything going on or sort of going on and after one chapter of a spicy scene about him, he’s in love and she’s in love. They don’t even know each other outside of work. Dumb.
If this happened to me I wouldn't be able to face my boss. Alexa ends up sending the wrong email to her boss instead of her friend. It wouldn't be bad until you find out that it was not a normal email. This one is a sexual fantasy that she has about her boss Jess.
Jess has been having feelings for Alexa but the past has left a bad taste in his mouth. Everything is easy for him until he opens his email and reads what Alexa wrote.
Seems that things around the office will be getting hotter and more exciting for these two.
A total waste of time! This was lacking in so many departments...arghh! It makes me want to pull my hair. NO! Stop! It makes me want to pull the authors hair and do some other unspeakable things to her...(a joke! right?) This snippet of a read ends abruptly at the 85% mark on my kindle, and what follows are previews of other short stories by this author. I bet they are written in the same style and manner and: You know what?
Shadona Richards has written a beautiful book..Sizzle.. It plays on your emotions...I think this book is hilarious.. sexy and at the same time it makes you rethink things and really makes you laugh this was the first book I have read by this author... I would love to read a follow up to this story..
Mmm, I started reading this book, but stopped half way and read some other stories first before I finished this one. That is enough said for me. With a great story I want to finish it first before I read something else.
Nice idea her making the mistake of sending a hot story about her boss to the wrong person her boss. Things get a little more hot between them after that then they were before.
Very funny story and the characters are real and hilarious. A woman accidentally sends her creative writing story to her boss instead of her teacher. It goes uphill from there. Great story.
