After going through Christian's things, Sophie is shocked to find a box of letters from Rachel Byrnes, her sister who is supposed to be dead. The letters span many years, and in some of them Rachel refers to Christian as her son.Sickened by the thought that’s she slept with her nephew, Sophie goes for a walk into town and runs into Randall, one of Anthony’s associates. Randall is searching for Rachel and is insistent that Sophie knows where she is; he even puts his hands on her and threatens her. Christian swoops in just in time to snag her away, and when they’re back at the cabin she unloads on him.He admits that he knew Sophie and Rachel were related but he didn’t know how to broach the subject. He reveals that he is not Rachel's biological son; rather, he is the child she rescued from the streets. Cabin by the Shore (book V) does pick up where Sophie founds Christian letters from Rachel. She does freak out at first thinking that she sleeps with her nephew. Then she gets mad that all her life she thinks her sister is dead, but her sister has been alive. And now she wants answers from Christian. But the answer is gets might not be what she excepted. In the end she found out that Rachel is dead and now that she knows. She will have to tell her parent that their daughter is dead, but she needs to process everything.

I can’t wait for the next book in the series. Victoria keeps you wants to know what going to happen next. I love this series. I hope Sophie and Christian get all the answer the need soon.

This edgy story continues...
Snooping through Christian's room Sophie finds letters to him from her sister she believed to be dead who refers to him as "son". Grappling with this revelation she takes a walk & is accosted by a man demanding to know where Rachel is. Christian rescues her from the sleezeball. Mortified for having slept with her nephew she is relieved when he tells her they are not related & her sister Rachel had actually saved him as a child from life on the streets, paid for his schooling & provided a new normal life for him. He confirmed that Rachel is dead. Hold on tight for the conclusion of this compelling series. This is my honest & voluntary review.

This series is great!
Sophie reads the letters Christian got from Rachel and thinks that he is her son. However, after Christian rescues her from Randall Anthony's henchmen, he tells her that he is not and that she saved his life when he was just a boy. He also admits that he knew they were related but not how, and told her that Rachel was dead.


Now she wants to know everything from her family and the lawyers about Rachel and the house. But does Anthony really believe she is dead or will he come for Sophie?

Book 5. This mystery story just keeps getting better and better. Twists. Turns. Complications. Questions? I so hope Christian and Sophie can keep it together and find their HEA.
