Where to start on this review? First of all, WOW!!! This is Honey Palomino's seventeenth, yes 17th book in her "Gods of Chaos MC" series and that right there should tell you she is one talented author!! Secondly, the fact that the Gods are stepping out of their element to go to a tiny island to help find and rescue a Princess is one intriguing storyline. You see, the King is a widower who has a set of twin daughters. He's so fearful of anything happening to them, he's kept them in a gilded cage but all that does is fester resentment and restlessness in Willa, one of his daughters. Now Willa is missing and the King does not want the public to find out but where does that leave them? As it turns out, Clara, the girls' nanny is friends with Diana, a Gods ole' lady, and was crying on her shoulder so to speak, when Diana offers the help of the MC. That's how our guys wind up on the island of Lilivania. Of course, emotions are high, the drama is intense but Slade manages to keep me laughing as he continues to find things to get into while Riot is his no-nonsense self with getting right to work. Wrecker is the one who tries to keep everyone in line which is a comforting thought and Stryker? Oh, he's there in the middle of things but through it all, he and Clara have this chemistry-driven tension building between them. This was exhilarating, to say the least, and I couldn't put it down until it was finished. Congratulations Ms. Palomino, not only on your seventeenth release in a wonderful series but also for giving us another outstanding adventure. I can't wait for the next one!
