Another fantastic story in the Brother in Arms series. I can't help but love all of these sexy alpha men in this group! Dime is struggling after losing his leg in combat and having to come back to civilian life, but his "brothers" help him and he has more work than he can handle at the garage. He is a sexy, poossesive, dominant male who wants a strong woman who can submit to him in bed. I want to be Betty for Halloween, lol. I love her classic 50s style and feel. She is struggling to try to take care of herself and her brother since their parents just took off and left her with all the responsibilities. SHe is such a wonderfully strong woman who just needs a little help and finds enjoyment in a strong hand in the bedroom. Another super-steamy quick read that you won't regret picking up! I can't wait for the next book in the series. I hope the author plans to put these stories together in paperback, I need these on my shelf!

The pin-up girl and the ice king
Dime has been the guy I’ve had the least connection with throughout the series, so I was a little dubious going into his book. Turns out, he’s a softie with a tough exterior just like the rest of the guys. Betty was a great match for him and the domestic discipline aspect of their story was just the right touch.
We are introduced to Ben in this book, an amputee who works with the BIA. I am looking forward to his story but am still left wondering, when is it Gabe’s turn?

I adore the Brother in Arms books! Wounded alpha male novellas, sweet, blissfully hot, sexy shorts that are the perfect bedtime stories. Dime lost his lower leg overseas and it ended his military career. Now work keeps him very busy and the chaos at home just gets worse every day. When Betty comes into his life one morning, its the hand of Fate bringing him something good for a change. I am sure I have said this before about Ms Campion's characters but I would have loved to have spent more time with Dime and Betty. Their dynamic is just so cute and I haven't seen it in romance a whole lot. I don't want this series to end, six stars for Her Guardian!

My Favorite A$$hole!
I knew just from the blurb that I'd love Dime and Betty, between his one-leggedness and her strength and perseverance that all remind me so much of me and mine. And I was right, that first sentence alone made me fall head over heels 🤣😝 Dime's pretty much an a$$hole, but I have one of those too, and that makes me love Dime so much more! 🤣 but I'm not gonna talk about how I pretty much cried because Betty - strong sweet subby tenacious and hardworking Betty - reminds me so much of me.... so of course I love her! 🤣 gaahhd! I just loved all of it! 😩🥺😍🤤🥵😈😩

Nick “Dime” lost his leg during combat, but it doesn’t slow him down. When kids break into the lot at BIA he gives chase and catches a young man, Lee. The other punks ran and left him, Dime takes him up to the office and “terrorizes” him for a bit. Poor kid is defiant but scared. While threatening Lee his sister Betty comes into the office and asks him not to hurt Lee. Dime is speechless when he sees Betty, she is his every dream come to life. He decides to use Lee’s vandalism as a way to get Betty to be his. Lee is off to school and he takes Betty home with him. He gets her to tell him her life story, her parents got tired of parenting and left her with her younger brother and took off for sunnier skies. She gave up her dream for college so she can work two jobs to send Lee to college. Pissed at them Dime vows to himself to take care of them both. Once at his home he immediately shows Betty his dominant side and she is his perfect sub. He and the guys all help guide Lee, who joins the ROTC. Epilogue with them married and with little ones. They still years later enjoy their D/s times together. Loved how sassy and strong Betty was, loved how Dime took care of her and Lee.

What a sweet insta love story this one was . As grumpy as Dime could be I knew he had a big heart under all that grizzle . Betty had been taking care of herself and her troublesome brother Lee for as long as she could remember . Her Life was nor her own but she had her dreams and one day soon she hoped they would come true. Thanks to her brother getting himself caught by Dine breaking into the Brothers in arms compound Betty and Dimes lives were about to change for the better.
Another insta love romance by Author Sike Campion hot as ever with a side of kink I live it . Looking forward to Bend book next bring it on .

I was given Her Guardian (Brothers In Arms) by Author Silke Campion as an ARC Reader copy of in exchange for my honest comments and opinion. My review is based on my personal opinions, and I was not compensated for writing it.
Nick "Dime" Byerman a veteran lost his leg during the battle, but that doesn't stop him. He lives in a town called Herby, and he meets Betty as her brother Lee committed a life-changing mistake.
A deal is made between Nick and Betty for compensation of Lee's actions.
Will they succumb to their overt sexual attraction or will they fight it?
The blurb captured me. I liked that the characters had their own personality as well as the sexy element.
I felt the story was a little too fast paced for me, too rushed. Would've like the story to be explored a little more and slowed down.
It is a good addition to the series.

This is the fifth of the Brothers In Arms series. Dime returned from war missing part of one leg, but he did not lose any of his dominant nature. As soon as he meets Betty, he recognizes his submissive soulmate. She knows he draws her irresistibly, but can’t put words to what she needs. In this sweet exploration of a Dom/sub relationship, the two work through the initial tension of coming together and learn how completely they fulfill each other. This is soft BDSM, really straight Dom/sub. I think most readers would enjoy this version as it doesn’t go too deeply. If it’s something you might like to learn more about, this would be an easy place to start. I enjoyed it.

I gave this one a four just because it literally takes place in under 8 hours they go from meeting, to screwing, to living together within 4 hours. I like her writing, I think it's good. Just this one was way too short and way too quick to the finale. The fact that she does an epilogue that's 4 years later helps. But this is a short story series so it's a good read.

Her Guardian (Brothers In Arms Book 5) by Silke Campion – This is on kindle unlimited. Dime catches a high school hooligan red handed in a B&E at the shop. Lucky for him, the thief’s bombshell of a sister is everything he could have dreamed. Very cute! Happy Reading!

Finding the One!
Her Guardian: it was an interesting way to build the story! I loved the characters and how they fit for what he enjoys and to interduce Betty into his environment of BDSM and the full life but to get connection. It was really good.

okay
This book fell in the okay category for me. Dime and Betty’s story wasn’t one of my favorites. I can’t really pinpoint it and it just wasn’t my cup of tea. Someone else may enjoy it more, just didn’t connect with it.
