Good story. Author cannot be bothered to remove donation/like requests at the end of each chapter.
I’ll pick up the next book, as the story is pretty good. But it is unforgivable that I paid more money then a lot of books that are much better than this one, and the author cannot even edit their story and remove the stupid requests for people to donate “stones” at the end of each chapter. What would that have taken? 10 mins max before copy and pasting. Wrong words and misspelling I can forgive, leaving in pleas for money at the end of each chapter before publishing is a spit in the face.
I really love the concept and the characters are fun and engaging ....but please is it is possible to have someone proofread these first??? I mention it with all respect and kindness to the author as I am In awe of all writer, but I have found multiple spelling errors, grammatical errors, and just plain mistakes on every single page. I'm usually not much of a stickler for these things...especially on a kindle unlimited title, but it's so bad that it's distracting me from the content. I'm no English major, so if I'm finding that many there must be scores more that I'm missing. Love the story, and I've enjoyed it...but proofreading would make it so much better!!!!
A decent story, but needs to be re-edited and proofread
The book follows a main character in a world of superpowers. As in most underdog stories, the main character starts off, super weak and builds up to be extremely strong. The plot line is relatively predictable. The general flow of the story is non-complex. Overall, it’s a pretty fair read if an imaginative. However, there are some glaring editing issues Improper word use and poor sentence structure that can be disarming. There are much better books out there for the price.
As many others have said: this web-novel series definitely needs proofread before publishing and just have someone edit the book to get rid of the very common simple mistakes that are throughout this book.
That being said, I was captivated by each chapter and even with all the bad grammar, etc. I wanted to know what was going to happen after every single chapter.
A true underdog story and that to me (if the plot is done well) makes a great story.
It was a good read and I will be continuing this series as I want to know what will happen next!
STORY: 4⭐️ EDITING/GRAMMAR: 1-2⭐️
Kept my overall rating as 4 star for the interesting concept and captivating story.

THE FOLLOWING IS JUST FOR MYSELF

My Vampire System is a story centered around a teen/young man, Quinn, who gains vampiric powers through a mysterious book after a near-fatal accident. He is enrolled at a military academy by a draft/conscript where they believe him to have no powers as the vampire powers are not known.
The world of ‘My Vampire System’ is one where earth has been attacked by an alien race and it was only defended by people with powers. After the aliens were fought off, most of the powers were taught to people and people could buy stronger powers. This changed the world and how it was run. So much so that a persons worth was determined by what powers they had and what power level they are. People with no powers are looked down on.
The story follows Quinn as he survives his military school and learns about his new ability. A vampiric ability that comes with its own AI that can talk to him internally and let him know things that he needs to know but holds things back and says that’s how he was made/was told to do.
I can forgive the spelling mistakes and the sloppy formatting; what is unforgivable is the request for donations of "stones" at the end of every chapter. I have paid for a book, why I am still getting ads? It is ridiculous and with several short chapters, vibe killing.
Despite that, this is an alright read. The characters are fun and for the most part, well developed, where required - I definitely want to know more about Vorden. The world is curious, some parts some well manufactured, others are one iceberg off being the next Titanic. I am guessing as this story was originally released as a webnovel with chapters being released sporadically, many aspects may have been lost by the seat of my pants approach.
Besides that, easy read. Will certainly read the next.
An enjoyable read. I like the vampire system take.
I enjoyed this. Its not complicated its an enjoyable read. I finished in a few days and im not a fadt reader, I'll be reading the next few books. I will add a lot happens in days, rather than what feels like should be weeks, If i remember rightly about this book it pretty much all happens in the first week. As much happens as harry potters first year in 1 week. Thats my little critique. Other than that its an enjoyable read.
This book has a LOT of misspellings, wrong words for different meanings and typos which made my brain hurt a little. It was also clearly written by a gamer. However, it was a fun change from my usual reading style and I may at least try to finish the series so far as to see Quinn get back to school or at least reunited with his group, but I definitely (NOT defiantly) don’t think this is a type of book I will be reading often.
Fun book, but it feel like the story is being dragged out. I think this has a lot to do with the way that the story was published as a web novel originally. The author does not want to resolve things quickly since the way they get their payment is by getting return readers.
I actually did an audio version of this story that was posted on Pocket FM. The audio appears to have more editing than the kindle version of the stories.
Obviously a YA book that is a fast read. The characters seem to be relatable even if you don't like them.
One major trigger for the YA community is the sheer quantity of bullying behavior in this book. And most of the time the bullies are allowed to get away with it.
Interested to see where the character goes in this story. I just saw that there are a total of 70 books. My mind is blown away by this.
Overall enjoyed the book, it is pretty good. However, author, edit this book and remove all of the stupid...unnecessary and distracting comments asking for stone (votes) from whatever place this book originated from. It is super distracting and immersion breaking.
Well written and very creative. At times, I felt that it was a futuristic game of thrones with vampires, and then other times, I felt it was like a Teenwolf with vampires. the writer does a good of following the protagonist, but doesn't forget about the story. I found myself loving the story and quickly became obsessed with it.
I love everything about this book, it has great characters and a great storyline. I have been reading it on webnovel as well and can say that it gets more fun and gains more depth. Anyone interested in fantasy and vampires should give this a read.
I saw the as a recommendation on social media and I was in a limbo on wha to read as well. But at reading the first couple carpeted I was hook and rooting for Quinn and his friends. Looking forward for the rest of the series
I love vampires and rpgs. I rate it 4 stars because it's just the beginning, and there's always room for improvement. It could've used one more round of editing for spelling and grammar errors.
This is pretty good but was not edited to remove the stuff from using coins to get new chapter from how it was released before. This is also only part 1 of 70 books. Total pages was 339 but had. Lot of blank parts on some of the end of chapter. Buyer beware.
Quite an interesting captivating story, ~4 stars I'm listened to this as an audio book, so was lucky to skip all the typos and other things that people mention, so I can definitely recommend this as a light read (light audio listen) after long and tiresome days of work :)
Honestly I’m surprised. I know Solo Leveling was a WebNovel but I only read that because there was an anime. But this has none of that I just saw it on an add. And honestly, it was good. It can be repetitive but that ending was amazing. For those curious I say stick around it gets good.
I think this story idea is amazing, my issue is the execution. Some conversations are stinted and the typos need to be edited, plus it clearly shows this was some sort of novella that was released weekly because of the multiple requests for votes. When editing the typo the voting suggestions be removed as well.
I’ll try out the second book to see if I can tolerate the quality because I am curious about the characters.
Very creative sci-fi dystopian novel. Four stars for world-building, unique characters, and an addictive plot. I subtracted a star for numerous grammatical errors (including random name changes) and a couple oddly placed ads- that I’m guessing are from it being on a different platform at some point. With some serious editing, this would be excellent.
