This continues to be a fun cute read. It goes by really really fast though, and there's not much substance other than the cute art. I am liking getting to know the new world and Yuna is able to find all sorts of food and help all sorts of people too :)

I actually bought this by mistake, thinking it was the next light novel. Damn you Amazon and your clever marketing strategy! Whatever, I bought it and marked it as being read, so I may as well review it.

The manga appears to owe its story to the novel, where the anime frequently goes off on its own. The adaptation is good, the illustration is as good as any manga of its type. Some of the jokes probably land a little better than the novel thanks to having a visual reference. Basically, it's a perfectly readable manga, if you like manga.

Yuna is escorting Noa and Fina to the big city when they come across some other travelers and bandits. Yuna quickly deals with the bandits, much to the others' shock. Finding her way in the big city after delivering Noa to her mother may be the bigger challenge, though. The city is huge, and customs there are different.

Once again, Yuna creates humor by casually dealing with threats and challenges others see as insurmountable. Noa's mom is quite the character, as is Noa's sister. Their obsession with Yuna's house and cooking is funny. (Warning, do not read this while hungry if you like fried potatoes in any form.)

Notes on content: A couple minor swears. No sex scenes. There's a close-up of a girl's cleavage and Yuna says "My enemy" which may mean something??? It was weird. Yuna quickly deals with the bandits before they can do any harm, but it is said they've murdered others in the past.

Super beargirl to the rescue (again)! I'm still loving the art and how awesome Yuna is, but the stories are starting to feel a little same-y at this point. There's no overall story, just a bunch of slice-of-life vignettes about a girl in an overpowered bear suit taking on the game's challenges. Which, don't get me wrong, is enjoyable on its own, just not in large doses for me.

I do like how Yuna tries so hard to not be recognized for her power and does her best to keep it under wraps. I think that's a nice touch.

Well this volume didn't make me want to throw the book and abandon the series, but it was just really bland...
TL:DR- The art's still kinda empty and not my thing. Too much telling not showing. Alot of the new characters feel pointless. Nothing really happens. There's not enough magic.

Art: Apologies in advance for critiquing the art harshly in this, but the artist in me won't let it go. Anyways- I'm really not a fan of the art. I think the artist is getting better at making it cleaner and more detailed. It is a light novel adaptation so it might be a different process than making the art from scratch. The art does alot of telling not showing. For example there's a fight between Yuna and a new character, and at one point they use magic apparently. This sounds really cool, except we don't see it, it's just speech bubbles. Come on, more magic please! It's so cool in this world! But I'll get to that later. Another note sometimes the art just seems bare, no pun intended. The backgrounds are pretty lacking at times, I know the manga process is intense so I shouldn't harp to much on them not spending an hour on a background. But since the characters are drawn simply it just makes the entire comic feel empty. And a problem I'm pretty sure that's been there since the start, some of the characters have more detailed faces, which contrasts weirdly with the more cutesy characters. It would work if it was only for some characters, however that's not the case. But I will praise 029's character design here! In isekai, the character designs can be bland and run off the mill, but here even the side characters, have unique designs.

Character: Character! One of my favorite parts of this story! I started to realize how simple these characters are, besides Yuna. But they are so disgustingly likeable you just can't help but love them. Yuna in this volume feels a bit more fleshed out. Yuna is snippy and a little rude, but has a good heart. If I recall correctly, they lean more towards characterizing Yuna as kind rather that her sass. This volume she doesn't have much to do, so they lean way more towards her sassiness. It's probably why this volume felt lacking. More on that later. There is a nice moment where Yuna thinks about being someone's big sister, which fits her kind hearted side. Anyways the side characters! We are introduced to alot of new characters, but they don't really do anything, and are quickly swept to the side. The party Yuna encounters at the end of the last volume barely have a personality really at all, and while they have unique designs, I forgot who's who sometimes. They seem kinda pointless in the end. There's also Misano, who's traveling with that party. She doesn't really do much at all also. She mostly just serves as device to set up Yuna's desire for to be a sister. Also since she was on the cover I expected her to do more but nah. The characters in the capital are much better. They appear more often too. Ellaura, Cliff's wife, is a fun character, because she has her quirks. She's not a tropey noblewoman, she doesn't really even act like. There's also Shia, a strong fighter, Yuna's age. I like that she doesn't just serve as a plot device to show how strong Yuna is like most people who fight her. She sees that she's not the strongest, and wants to improve. There's Flora who appears at the end. Don't have much to say about her lol.

Story: Phew, last part! Because this manga is an adaptation of a light novel, I can't really blame the manga for the story issues. I haven't read the light novel.
The story is really lacking, I had problems with the last volume for boring, but at least stuff did happen. This one while I still enjoyed reading it for some reason, was just so bland. Usually in manga, when they change the scenery it really helps spice things up and change the formula. Here it just... Yuna messing around, and not even in an engaging way. She buys a plot of land again, and honestly when she did it in a previous volume it wasn't too boring, but here it takes up too much time, it could easily be shortened. It is strange that Yuna buying land got more panels than a magic duel! I feel like the series is past it's Yuna settling things in this isekai world. I want magic, monsters, adventures, and the strangely wholesome moments! We barely get any of that here. It's mostly just side tangents. It's weird to see Yuna's more sassy and lazy side more than her kind side, which is why this volume just felt lacking. There should be more interesting things to do in the capital. Maybe spend more time with Shia, or Ellelaura. I think the last part does work a little better. There's a pretty sweet moment where Yuna makes a picture book for the princess. But... something about this manga just feels off. There's a part where Yuna makes pizza, because cheese isn't too common in this world. Manga knows how to make cooking and eating like a spiritial awakening. Here I just don't feel invested. And this is the same comic where Yuna making ice was pretty fascinating.

All in all, I still love the series, there's nothing offensive in this, it's just a nothing volume.

Edit: I haven't read the next volume and it's been 2 years so ig the volume did make me drop it.

I love the Bear Golem here especially the cute little wave as he sinks back into the mud. Looks like we are back to the monsters/beasts in the next volume. Yay!
