Ridiculous story. Ridiculous premise. Ridiculous characters. No happy ending. What a weak woman Sarah was and what an egotistical character he was. Wish I could unread this one.
Trauma in her past has sent Sarah to the stars. She desperately wants to become a doctor and be able to save lives but somewhow this was not possible on Earth. She bonds with the other women on her ship, especially Maren as they make their way to their new home on an alien planet. They are within hours of their arrival when the ship is attacked and crashes. Sarah is thrown free but she is hurt. She comes to when a large silver winged alien is tending to her. He flies her away and heals her and she manages to communicate to him that she needs to go back to the ship. Vah'all cannot understand the pull of this strange new female but he puts it aside until he knows what she is doing. In the crashed ship three other females are found. Luckily with the help of translators they can begin to work out what is happening. All of the women are taken back to a hidden floating city which is the home of these flying men. The three wounded ladies are taken for medical care and treated well which leads them to believe that they might not be all bad, until Sarah finds herself in a council chamber with Vah'all where he is also asking for her to be his reward. I think not buddy!! The arrival of the strange women throws everything into chaos however there are also more dark undercurrents that have yet to come to light. You can't be a silver flying dragon man who can be as sweet as he is strong. I loved the description of the world and the society that had just been found. I realy enjoyed this and I cannot wait to find out who the other girls will have to steal their hearts against next. I have my favourites and I hope that they prevail.
This is the first book of a series. The main heroine of this story is Sarah. Sarah is traveling with a small group of women in another planet they have been invited so they could learn more about herbal or natural medications in that alien planet. When they are on their way they get attacked by another group of indigenous men and their ship crash. After crashing the new group prosed and kill all the guards that were protecting them and Sarah was kidnapped by a winged silver alien called Vah'all. The story is very interesting but the first 35% of the book was hard for me to read. The way that Sarah was treated it was not of my liking it was like, Vah'all here I found you, your mine and you better do what I said, I don't care what you think and other things but after the 35% when they started to show more of the world and get more action I started to like it more. So overall is a good story if you don't mind the caveman attitude and a little roughness ( that is why I don't read BDSM book) OH another thing some people said they were dragons but I keep visualizing silver bird men. The second story it looks good and more to my liking so I will give it a try.

A start to a new series by an author I have grown to love, and though this was on a complete different level than previous books, it has its own way to my heart. Though it’s not as exhilarating, there were quite a few intense scenes packed with emotions. And, I actually did appreciate that not everyone on Bameh was so accepting of a Dhevieth and a human mating.
“You’re telling me these aliens release their own lube for ‘her’ pleasure?” -Trinity
Vah’all and Sarah’s relationship didn’t get off to a great start, mainly due to fear of the unknown and his aggressive behavior. But, once she begins to relax and accept Vah’all’s protectiveness, attraction, and willingness to go above and beyond for her, fireworks begin to explode! And, the liquid that acts as a lubricant and an aphrodisiac makes for some really interesting scenes of passion.
All in all, I have to admit I was impressed with a different take on her books. As always, her character development was nothing short of amazing, even with there being a lot of side characters. Anticipating Maren and Kraal’s story!
Sarah and a few other women were on a mission to enhance their medical education on another planet. But the ship they are on crashes and she’s kidnapped by the winged alien who actually caused it to crash. Vah’all is strongly devoted to his homeland and the warriors he claims as his brothers because they took him in when he was an orphan. It was his job to destroy the human’s ship but the sudden attraction to her made him take her as his own. If he hadn’t acted like such a brute caveman with her, the relationship may have gone better for him. The elders won’t allow her to be part of their society. But he can’t give her up and eventually their relationship improves and they are more accepting of each other.
Regardless, strangers aren’t allowed on the secret sky island of Bameh, so bringing her there causes some serious conflict among the people. Can Vah’all and Sarah’s love survive the hostility? Or will he eventually have to give up and send her home for her own safety?
👽 “No, you don’t understand, Sarah. I’m not letting you go. I’m not taking you anywhere. You are mine now. I plan on keeping you.” ~~~ Sarah signs up for an intergalactic educational program. But things don’t go as planned when the ship is attacked and all the females are captured. I really liked her. I loved her stubbornness and bravery when facing danger and the unknown.
Vah’all is a Dhevieth assassin. He’s strong, ruthless, protective, dominant and very direct. But he’s plagued by nightmares from all the things he’s done for his people. Nevertheless, I loved his determination to keep his woman.
I really enjoyed the development of their relationship. Both had to go through a lot, but their chemistry was great and scorching hot. They were a really great match. And I loved how they got to care for and protect each other throughout the story.
Overall, the story is a great start of the series. It’s filled with fast-paced action, danger, drama, rebellions, suspense, steamy romance and great characters.
I loved it and cannot wait to see what happens next!
So this is a bit different from what I am used to reading when it comes to alien romance. So here we have a group of women who are going to a different planet to study medicine. Something happens and there ship crashes. The thing is that the alien is the one who brought the ship down. Why you ask? The habitants of the planet want to keep it secret. There is something about the planet that they want to keep secret. However, Vah'all is the one who brought the ship down, and there is a scent that calls to him. Come to find out it is a scent coming from one of the humans. Sarah, is trying to stay alive and find her friends and get back on track. But when she sees Vah'all something shifts. Now the dangerous adventure begins. It is one thing after another. We think that it is all good and then the shoe drops and chaos ensues. Then Sarah realizes that Vah'all means a whole lot more to her than she thought. Will they be able to get a happily ever after or will they be separated? Check out this story to see how it all goes down. You will not regret it.
I really enjoyed this series by Luna Kingsley. Sarah is on her way to a new world where she will learn about new medicines to further her knowledge in the medical field. On their way, they're attacked by a ferocious humanoid alien creature. The ship crashes and she is one of the only survivors. The alien, Vah'all, takes her for his own because he is immediately attracted to her and feels that she is the only one for him. However, not everyone is accepting of Sarah and Vah'all being together which creates division among the ranks.
This book had good world building with a dynamic alien culture. There were challenges, action, suspense and heat. I also really liked the aliens in this book. They were kind of like gargoyles with their silver/gray skin and wings. I look forward to more books in this series.

I've reading a few books by Luna Kingsley and I really need to read more. This was a well paced, attention grabbing, compelling book. Sarah and a group of other human women are on their way to a new world to learn more and to contribute to both humankind and the beings on the new world. Vah’all is a warrior on the secret sky island of Bameh that has been kept hidden from the rest of the world. His job is to destroy all encroachers, but when he sees Sarah, he wants her for himself. The elders aren't happy with this and this starts a riff between factions on Bameh. The characters are interesting, there is steam, action, and drama. I am hooked and want to read more.

An intriguing story of how Sarah plain Jane self got caught up into something that she was supposed to be in. She’s going to a new planet to do research. The crew accidentally flew into an unknown no-fly zone and basically a massacre has occurred and what other women are left are spared. So there’s a total of five of them. She’s attracted to her captor. Not necessarily Stockholm syndrome because he has wings. All of this is beside the point. He has found her his body is reacting to her as a fated mate. Conflict yes. . There of course is a shortage of women. It is unclear about how they are going to procreate to save the race. The trials and tribulations that occur in this book is a good read.

I really enjoyed the concept of a secret island in the sky, an alien wanting a human for a mate from a group he was sent to destroy, and the resulting drama and action that follows. There are going to definitely be three more books for the other three women who were allowed to survive, and I'm looking forward to seeing the continuation of the plot that looks to be something threaded through future stories. This couple was so great for each other in that they provided much needed comfort and acceptance. They had incredibly hot sex too!

"...but for the first time in my life, I have a reason to take a stand."
Vah'all has always followed orders, done as his Alpha commanded and his elders wished, even when it weighed on his conscience. His people live on an island in the sky, drawing strength from its core, and believe in the need to keep their home a secret lest outsiders discover them.
Sarah, and the ship she's onboard have no idea what can come of an innocent navigational blunder, until they encounter Vah'all.
This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read deals a lot in assumptions, prejudices, fears, but more than that how different we think when we pause to consider as opposed to reacting.
If it weren't for guilt Sarah, wouldn't have been on the ship that Vah’all attacked. Guilt that gives her nightmares. Vah’all does his duty, but he too suffers from guilt and nightmares and something about Sarah makes it bearable. She's the light to his darkness and the only thing that he's ever asked for. He will fight foe her. Sarah knows that she should be ttrying to get her friend and get back to where they belong, but more and more she feels she belongs with Vah’all. Love this new story and it's characters. Great worldbuilding and action and adventure.

Sarah is with friends that are flying to learn more about medical skills. Something causes their spacecraft to crash and she is rescued/kidnapped by a winged alien. She and her friends are taken to their homeland and Vah'all has asked to keep Sarah. They have been granted that by the council but there is dissention in the ranks. There is plenty of action, adventure, fighting, attraction, passion and love. Sarah and Vah'all are great characters and their connection with each other just gets stronger. This book was all the things. I definitely feel like I just went on an emotional rollercoaster. It took me a little bit to warm up to the H/h, but once I did boy was I in for a ride. It was hot of course, but it was also tense (mostly external conflict) and then hot and then very, very intense. Finally, it finished up with beyond sweet. It is a romance after all. I cannot wait for more with this whole group.

This is a very well-written Alien kidnapping story with amazing and unique characters that have flaws, but also have heart. This story has action, adventure, betrayal, twists, turns, heros, and love. The characters have interesting personalities, unique histories and experiences, realistic reactions. I hope this is a new series so that there are more books for the other characters who stand out in this book. Great Must Read Alien Romance

Sarah and other human women are on a ship going to other planets to exchange information about herbs and medicines but the ship is brought down by a flying silver skinned alien, Sarah is injured and the alien takes her to a cave and leaves her. Vah’all is an alien species called the Dhevieth their home is a secret so if any ships get near then he brings them down and kills everyone but he couldn’t kill this female and he doesn’t know why. Fantastic story I loved it and the characters and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Sarah is part of a team that is on their way to study medicines and technology before returning to Earth. The ship is shot down and they are taken as prizes by winged silver aliens. Vahall has Sarah and as time passes, they start to work on a relationship. The characters are entertaining. The storyline is full of surprises and twists, threats and drama. There are two parts to this series so a lot of questions and answers are yet to be revealed.

It’s a sweet romantic story with a happy ending for the alien and human couple Sarah and Vah’all. Sarah is traveling with a crew for medicinal purposes when their space ship vets where it should not be. Vah’all is the warrior that has to keep his home a secret from prying eyes. He has to destroy and kill witnesses. The only thing is that he feels Sarah and knows that she is his. Vah’all saves Sarah and provides medical treatment. However how will he convince his people to accept a human female? Read On!
Well written fast paced story with interesting characters, danger and steam:
I really enjoyed this series opener, full of action, danger, all the feels you could want and a fab chemistry. Sarah and Vah'all start off rather rocky but things start coming together once Sarah realizes her fear isn't necessary. Some unique aspects to this alien species that really spiced up the smexy times ;P It definitely was a fast paced and enjoyable read and I look forward to the next book.
This was a great read. When I got to the part that said there was no more females being born into their clan I started to stop reading this because there are so many books out there like that now where the females are dying, or only males are being born so they need females from earth etc etc. But I have loved all of Luna Kingsley’s books so I kept reading and let me tell you I was not disappointed.
Oh yes please!! This is the first book in a new series by one of my favourite authors. Vah'all is deliciously commanding and demanding which makes him super hot but would have loved his dominance stepped up a notch. Sarah is okay but didn't hold my attention the way Vah'all did. I'm looking forward to the second book.

I was drawn in by the premise of this book and the cover! Love it!
The characters however were difficult to connect with. I don’t mind insta love nor insta lust but this was just insta sex and very cliche unfortunately. And I wouldn’t even mind that if there was depth to the characters. Perhaps it was just this one couple so I will definitely pick up another book by this author. The writing was simple and had no errors.
Its an action filled story, full of danger to him and to her. Looks like it’s them against his world. Thankfully, there are friends who cares and who knows their love/bond is true.
I was looking forward to the epilogue and am happy though I would want a story of them having a child.

Thoroughly enjoyed this latest from Luna Kingsley. These characters - Vah’all and Sarah, have their work cut out for them, when Vah'alls people do not want her on their island. This is the first in a new series and it is looking great so far.

The relationship between the two main characters felt superficial and far too quick. She’s in love with him when she’s only known him 3 days? If the timeline had been longer, it would have felt more realistic.
I felt like there were some holes in the story, but luckily the epilogue gave some sort of closure
