The queen has been slain, a traitor has been slaughtered, and a prophecy is determined to bring an entire kingdom to its knees.
My wife, Queen Tallulah Aurelia Della Katarina Noble, trusted her soldiers. She trusted me. But ultimately, the reign a backstabber attempted to end may perish because of my own selfish actions. It was never supposed to go down this way. Tully and I wanted love. Marriage. Peace for our world. We wanted to be together, selflessly for the next four hundred years. Eventually, we would think about having children, to furthering our bloodline and ensuring the prosperity of our people. But not like this. Not at the cost of Tully’s life.
The witches have given us a recipe, a potion that’ll solve all my problems. And though Roman DeLuca and I could never be accused of being friendly, on this one important point, we agree: For Tully to live, the child must die.

Wow! What an explosive finale to this trilogy. This trilogy had so much goodness: characters who fought for their people, who fought for each other, and who fought against adversity, evil, corruption and bad choices. There was an abundance of love, sacrifice, and change for the greater good. The characters in this trilogy are really something special. Tully was so brave and strong and Kai loved so hard. Kai and Tully were the stars but they weren’t alone in their bravery and love. There was Rome, Ari, General Janson, the “new” Guild, Meredith and even Enzo. They all added so much depth and realism to the story and helped further the plot. As a whole, I truly enjoyed this series. BUT… I really think this would have been better as a duology. This first half of this book was so repetitive. Everyone was angry and fighting and debating the same problem over and over again. And Kali was inserting herself into situations that she had no business interfering in. The last half of the book is where the meat of the story is and it all came to a head in the last 40 or so pages. As things were winding down, I was starting to get worried that the ending would feel rushed. Once I got in that home stretch, wild horses couldn’t have dragged me away from this world though. There was action, adventure, and answers galore and I was satisfied with how it came together. Would I have liked a little more about the aguar and Rome’s future? 100% yes but I wasn’t disappointed. Did I also see some of the revelations coming a mile away? Also, yes but I wasn’t mad about this either. This series gave me ALL the feels and that emotional and satisfying HEA in this installment was the cherry on top. This series still whole heartedly gets a recommendation from me. Romantasy lovers, don’t hesitate on this series.
At 47% I cannot take anymore political blathering. I have not yet failed to finish one of this author's books but the story has been smothered to death. She (Emilia Finn) has written about her stance on this highly inflammatory issue in a number of previous novels, but this is a whole other level. I no longer have any idea what's going on in the book, as exactly only one plot point has been addressed in over a hundred and sixty pages. There's beating an issue to death, then there's playing with the rattling bones. We're well into the realm of the latter. After sticking with this series for 2.5 books, I must express EXTREME frustration that the author has finally lost the plot (literally,) so thoroughly. I consider Ms. Finn a talented writer on the whole but if she can manage to twist up a fantasy book this completely, I think this is the last for me. I'm already ignoring my own VERY loud beliefs on the subject, as I have in previous novels. In brief, I'm not able to enjoy anything about the final book in a trilogy. You can imagine the frustration of wasted time.
If you have read this far, I would advise that you consider whether you're looking for fantasy escapism or a right wing bludgeoning. It'll be a DNF for me. One of only about a dozen in multiple thousands of books. (Yes, I have intentionally left out clarification on what issue, because no one deserves unsolicited spoilers. But also, this is the third book. IYKYK.) The extra ⭐ is a fair assessment of the author's skill with words. No more and no less. NOT a reflection of the "story".
This is the ending of a trilogy, so start at the beginning. If you are new to Emilia Finn's books, this trilogy has the amazing, strong females, the incredible voice that she gives in each story, but its an entirely different type of story. Its a story one of her characters from the series Stacked Deck, Brooke, wrote. Check out all of her stories. I cried, when I so rarely do. I giggled and sniffled, got frustrated and mad, and I stayed up until 4am to finish. Absolutely incredible ending. Tully is too giving sometimes. Rome is infatuated and frustrating, but loves Tully for who she is. Kai, strong but "weak of heart" yet loves Tully with everything he is. I love that in this alternate world, consent is important, especially because it is unmistakably a priority for Meredith and her boys. Enzo, sweet Enzo, is probably my favorite character of all. His love for Tully and his desire to be a soldier, he touched my heart even more than the others. Forget where you think this story will go because Emilia throws in a few crazy twists that come from behind in such unexpected ways. Absolutely brilliant. Read all of these. Read everything she's written. This series is different but still familiar, amazing.
I dare you to read these. These books aren't just fantasy. These books are adventure, excitement, fear, mystery and most importantly love. It's a saying something when I actively encourage other readers to pick up these books. The characters aren't just words on a page. They become images in our minds and spots on our soul. They become the best part of our days and who we dream of at night. These books are creative. The world is so nicely described you can picture the bricks in the buildings and the blades of grass growing on the ground. You can feel the characters emotions and the love (or hatred, dam evil villains) they have for one another. This is a book I will come back to over and over again. It's a book I have dreamed about for months and one I'll cherish forever! 10/5 I would recommend this series to any fantasy, love, mystery reader out there. Thank you for this book.
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 3rd in the Inamorata series and ends in an HEA. Tully is pregnant and in danger, as most of her kind who fall pregnant, die during pregnancy. I love the solution that her subjects decide upon. Kai is a bit of a bore in this book. Both Tully and Kai have way too many internal monologues regarding Tully’s dying and what to do about it. All of this thinking really slowed the story down.
>Rome’s father was a huge surprise, but the ending of said father was a let down. His threat never really threatened. The theme of choosing love over all else is a good one. I do not think combining 2 kingdoms would have been as easy as this book portrays it, however.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. The trilogy was a fun one to read, but the evil King was kind of a let down.
I’m in shock! I knew this book was going to be an emotional one for me, given how book 2 ended and how Emilia’s other books have been known to pack a punch, but holy crap! So many twists! A couple things I predicted, but some things that happened hit me like a mac truck!😂 My only complaint was the ending was kind of abrupt on a big reveal, and this is supposed to be the end of the trilogy, or so I thought, but I needed more information and reactions!!😂 I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much I love this fantasy series!! This is a definite must read!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
inamorata Series is Emilia’s most brilliant piece of work yet
I never thought I would enjoy this series, because it was fantasy based and so different from all Emilia’s other works, but I am so overcome with feelings. I believe this is her greatest work yet and I have read every single thing she has ever written. I have laughed, cried and fell in love over and over in this series. My heart was yanked from my chest more than once. And I seriously considered writing her a nasty email asking how dare she do this to me. But as always love prevails and Emilia weaves her magic. What a wonderful ride. Thank you, Emilia Finn
I cannot say it enough, I absolutely LOVED this series. I laughed, I cried, I was angry and I was sad but most importantly I was happy to read these books! I read so many books and there are so many that just disappoint in the end, but these are not those books. Tully, Kai, and Rome bring so many emotions. There is so much depth to this story line. So much happiness. So much hurt and pain but in the end it’s so much more than you could hope for. I cannot recommend this series enough!!! Read it, you won’t be disappointed!
OMG I just finished this trilogy and WOW. I am stunned. I have never read anything like this before. But I read it bc I have loved everything else by Emilia and this was no different. It was everything I didn’t know I needed. It kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. It is just so much more then just a series. The message it gives of love, life and destiny is truly magical. I can’t believe it’s over but I am so much better for reading it. Thank you Emilia for giving us another masterpiece ❤️
I have yet to read a book by Emilia Finn that doesn’t blow my mind and make me want to jump into the world she created. This genre is not my usual, but I jumped in with both feet at book one because I’m a die hard author fan. And true to form, each of the books in this series wrapped me up and held me captive to the very last sentence. I laughed, I cried, I tried to decider the hints, and oh my gosh, the finale was beyond what I imagined and so much better! Definitely a must read book and series.
There isn't anything Emilia Finn has written that I don't love! She has this way of writing that just impowers you and encourages you. This series keeps you captivated and going through the emotions with them. Watch Tully and Kai have everything thrown at them, get pushed to the limit, find out more secrets than anyone could handle, and keep their Love strong and alive.
I have never read a book in the “fantasy” genre, but Emilia Finn will never write a book, in any genre, that I don’t read. I was almost terrified to start this one, knowing what had been spoken over the main characters in Book 2. Intense would be an understatement, but so would freaking amazing. I love so many of these characters and am super hopeful we see them again and this isn’t actually the actual end! Amazing job, Emilia! You did it!!!!
I feel there could have been a little more to the end. A little more time happy and free, but it was still excellent. We needed some Rome at the end though. That was poorly done. There should have been something with him and Tully, but with his brothers too. We got zero reaction about that reveal. Kinda a big deal to just gloss over. Zero spice in this book. Very little in all the books, but the love was written well.
Wow! What a book! What a series! This is the final book in Emilia Finn's "Fiera" series and I loved it every bit as much as I did the first two! I can't say too much without giving anything away, but the relationships between each of the characters are just spectacular. There's humor, mystery, heartbreak and so much love. I am sad to leave the world of Kai and Tully behind.
This has to be one of THE BEST series I've ever read. Emilia Finn points you in one direction then at the last second changes it up like only she can do! And the ending...I sincerely hope she has another book or a spin-off to this planned because that was one belly a cliffhanger!
Emilia is so incredible with her ability to pull you into a world so unlike our own. I can feel the emotions as if I'm in the story myself. Kai and Tully have such an incredible love. Tully is so strong and knows exactly what she wants and isn't afraid to go for it. This conclusion ends in the HEA that had me swooning and wishing for more.
I shouldn't be shocked that Emilia did it again but she certainly pulled off another amazing series. I laughed, cried and literally had goosebumps throughout this story. I can only hope this is a start to another series. I'm invested in all these characters and would love to hear more from them!
This better not be the ending, because all those wonderful characters I need more. Tully and Kai were something so unique, Tully's strength and love carried them through every crazy step and in the end love prevailed. This might be Emilia's first fantasy book, but she's a pro and clearly needs to write more.
This series was awesome. It kept you guessing on what you thought was true but it wasn't. The suspense and mystery will keep you intrigue. The passion of the two main characters you will love. You will also love the drama as it unfolds as well as the action. Excellent reading and writing.
"Because love is always meant to be about the one you live for. It’s supposed to be about doing the right thing for the other half of your heart. To choose selflessly, even if that means sacrificing your life in exchange for the other who is so much more worthy."
Gah! I don't know how to put into words how good this finale was and how much it broke me. It put my emotions through the tests of time. You felt everything Kai was feeling. It was about love and sacrifice. I absolutely loved this trilogy!
I love the conclusion of this series so much. It answer so many previous questions and shows Emilia Finn's true expertise in a happily ever after in a most unexpected way.
So glad Emilia changed up her style. Everyone was worth waiting for, and Destiny is a beautiful force to work with and live in. Be sure to start at the beginning, and read the whole trilogy. Art least once.
I sit here in tears as I go through the range of emotions from this finale. From happy to sad to anger to sorrow and finally relief, this book has it all. Emilia Finn knocked this ending and the entire series out of the park.
Action packed, high drama, suspense, and ALL the emotions for Kai and Tully's highly anticipated HEA. This book will have you reaching for the tissues and on the edge of your seat until the very last page!
What a beautifully woven tale. Your books never disappoint. I fell in love with the characters and Lumea’s respect for nature in all its forms. If you keep writing, I will keep reading your work. Thank you.
Emilia Finn made me like reading fantasy. The Fiera series was very well written. It had a lot of twists and turns. I hope that she continues this series or starts a new one with some of the supporting characters.
I really struggled to start and finish this book. Partly because I knew it was the last and partly because I knew Emilia was going to break my heart in a really good way. Damn, just damn. I am not OK! I repeat, I am not OK! Phenomenal as always Emilia. #tattooedbishesdocry
I so very much enjoyed this conclusion to the Inamorata Trilogy. Tully, Kai and the cast of their story have captured my heart in a story of magic, betrayal and most of all love. I’m so happy that I stepped out of my normal reading genre to read these books.
I never read this kind of book before. But once I started reading i couldn't put the book down. I read all 3 books in 2 days. I didn't do anything else I couldn't stop reading this story!! Emilia Finn you are an amazing writer, person and mum.
