I’ve reformed myself, I’ve sacrificed myself for the greater good, and now I’m in the devil’s playground.
It turns out my father isn’t Satan afterall.
No there's worse monsters out there than him.
Wolves from my father’s pack have gone missing, and there's a big possibility my father is behind the whole thing.
I shouldn’t be surprised, he did sell me, his only daughter to Axil Bloodmoon after all.
Axil wants to break me, kill my mates, and make me his.
Silly wolf.
He will soon learn that I’m not the little lost girl with a red hood in this scenario but the one and only

Intense

This book hurt my heart so much. The rape and sexual abuse is very vivid. I don't think she was also able to process all of the trauma before she jumped back into sexual relationships. That was hard for me. This was very dark and action packed then the first. Somewhat of a HFN ending. Looks like there will be a final battle. Read at your own caution if you have triggers. Lots of non consensual sex and assault.

Diary of a true alpha exceeded my expectations!! When we left Aspen, she had sacrificed herself for her mom and was headed back to her old pack with her a-hole dad. So now she’s living her nightmare of being back there, but that’s not the cherry on the pie. Her dad has sold her to another Alpha, Axil, and he is the devil himself. Axil is PURE EVIL, and I loved every. Single. Moment of time with him. Now, I know Ms. Jones gave us Axil to hate, but I love all things dark, depraved and seriously twisted, so I find myself thanking her for giving me this gloriously vile man. And on that note: if you are triggered by nonconsensual sexual acts, you should NOT read this book. Now, while our dear Aspen is a victim in every sense of the word, she is a SURVIVOR AND FIGHTER and she doesn’t find herself in that self pitying, a shell of her former self victim state. No. Aspen is a true role model who places blame on those it should be placed on and she comes out a stronger woman than anyone could have predicted. This warrior queen kicks butt and manages to pull off a happily ever after. Or does she... I guess we will have to wait for book 3 to truly find out! 😱😱

Such a shame

I can't deny that this author is a great storyteller, but I'm getting fed up with her constant use of rape as a plot device. Every single bad guy is a sadist with a sex dungeon that he take the FMC to and abuses her. Find something new to write about!! It's especially frustrating because this author has some serious talent. I've read 5 books by her and they all have rape as a plot device. I don't think I can take much more. I was considering reading a different series by this author, but I think I'm done. Maybe I'll revisit her in a few years when she's, hopefully, gotten out of this writing rut.

True love wins!

OhmyCy!!! What an amazing story! I love these books so much. I love how you get the story from different point of views. There are definitely some triggers in this one, but as a survivor of domestic abuse I can attest that they aren't bad. Aspen is a survivor. Those men of hers are fighters and will never give up on her no matter what. She is super lucky to have a best friend that's a witch too. Once again an awesome story with some crazy twists that I definitely did not see coming. I cannot wait for the next books!

This is the second book in the Reformed Series and OMG...this was so good. I didn't want to stop reading. This book really does give you all the feels you could want. The things Aspen had to go through are a bit of trigger warnings, however I think CY did a great job at keeping it minimal, but yet amping up the intensity of the situation and the story. I absolutely recommend this series and if you haven't started you are really missing out on a great shifter series.

This book started right where the first left off and let me just say, holy crap! This book was amazing. We see the darker part of Aspen's past and present which will probably be a bit triggering for some, but I thought it was amazing and added to the true testament that Aspen is NOT one to give up or pity herself. She came out stronger because of her experiences in this book and I thought the character progression was fantastic. I am anxious to see what happens next!

Satisfying Conclusion...!

I’m a huge fan of CY Jones work and the writing style in this doesn’t fail to disappoint however I was only able to give 4 stars instead of 5 though as I felt there was no bridge between the light and dark sides of this story compared to some of her other works. Still a very enjoyable read and satisfying conclusion to this duet with possibility for secondary characters getting their own stories.

This book is absolutely amazing. It starts where the first left off and you get to see the characters grow right before your eyes. There's twists and turns along the way some of which are definitely unexpected. Some of the scenes may have some triggers for some but it doesn't take away from the story itself. This book is very detailed and very easy to read. I very highly recommend this book.

She has done it again ... Another 5 Star book !!! Aspen is so amazingly strong and what a true Alpha is in my eyes..she gets some very heavy things thrown at her in this book ..instead of rocking back in fourth in a corner like alot of ppl would be, she endures and comes back stronger then ever!! Cant wait for book 3 !!

This book has a lot of triggers (sexual abuse and other things)So if those types of things bother you don’t read and leave bad reviews about it having triggers and how you can’t handle it. That being said this is one of the best books I’ve read this year . The ending is making Anxious and excited for the next book.
Thank you

Aspen and her mates have one wild ride in this book Aspen gets abducted not once but twice. That's not even the half of it the whole sup world is in danger and lets just say the past may come back to bite them all in their last book. That was one intense ride no wonder Aspen demanded another book.

This book is a total page turner. Aspen is a total bad agirl. She goes through some really tough stuff but she never breaks. If anything else she comes out stronger then before. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book.

CY has done it again! Aspen is so strong and I can't wait to read more about her! I'm so glad CY isn't stopping her story yet. This world is one that you just want to dive into and not come back for a while. If you liked the first book you will love this one!
