This is an easy read that can be done in one sitting, and is not academic nor theological in nature . (The author does have several workbook pages that will require a larger time commitment.) It feels as if it is written with women in mind as the target audience, but that is not to say that men will find nothing here.
If you find yourself lost for direction in your life at the moment, give this little tome a read. You will not find your answer here, but maybe you can locate a sign post.
This is an encouraging book that nearly reads as an autobiography from a wonderful woman of God. The stories here are a relevant as well as a prescriptive look at how to find your identity, your calling, and your assignment. I enjoyed every page!
Susan expresses such vulnerability in her writing from a place almost everyone has found (or will find) themselves in. The ever lingering questions of “what does it all mean” and “what is my purpose” are universally asked, and Susan provides anecdotal evidence as well as tangible steps to answer these questions. Highly recommend.
I loved how reading this book feels like getting worse advice from a friend. The way the author explained the process of identifying your calling and assignment was easy to follow. So glad to have read this.
