Twin Flame souls bound across centuries must overcome their greatest challenge yet.
Newlyweds Cara and George Cavendish have finally reclaimed their Tudor ancestral home, but their hard-won peace is short-lived. When Cara discovers a mysterious gateway in the house, she realises their Twin Flame journey is far from complete.
Suddenly transported to 1729, Cara finds herself a penniless governess at Willow Manor, where Earl George Cavendish —bound by duty to his noble bloodline—fights their overwhelming attraction. Despite their instant connection, their forbidden love across the class divide threatens everything George holds dear.
As George battles between love and duty, a sinister nemesis shadows their path, determined to separate them. When this evil adversary wins Willow Manor in a fateful card game, George contemplates the unthinkable—burning his ancestral home to the ground with himself inside.
With time unravelling around them, Cara must convince George of their eternal destiny before their nemesis destroys their past, present, and future.
A spellbinding tale of destiny and sacrifice where love must triumph over an evil that hunts them through time.
“Love this series about the same couple across the centuries. Another great read in the series. I find the past life element combined with time travel fascinating and love how the books stay with the same couple which is rare.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Fascinating. Great story as always. The idea of two people destined to always find each other has always fascinated me. Great series.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Addictive. Absolutely loved this series of books and eagerly awaiting the next one in this series.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rachel Henke’s novels are historical romantic adventures about strong women and tortured heroes, destined to be together against all odds.
She dreamt of being a novelist since she was seven years old and her dream came true at fifty!
Rachel lives with her real-life romantic hero in the beautiful Surrey town of Weybridge, where the Rivers Wey and Thames meet. She spends her days drinking excellent coffee, telling tales, and meeting the incessant demands of their bossy toy poodle.
Rachel also writes as R.A. Henke where she crafts captivating contemporary billionaire romance novels in the Rochesters series, delivering intensely emotional stories that explore the redemptive power of love.
It was nice to see Ralph Knight get his comeuppance as such in this story. I have to say I hope that is the last he is seen but not sure. George and Cara's story continued to unfold and it seems they might not be the only time traveller in the family. It is going to be a long wait till December for The Covenant. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading these books so far.
For sure gives off Outlander vibes but obviously in its own way. Time traveling with Cara and George is a lot of fun. You just never know what will happens or what will bring them together.
