Whether she is walking down a busy street or sitting by the ocean, a mother always has just the special touch to let her little one know that he is loved, in a touching tale with full-color illustrations.

My 19-month old daughter requests this one by name, every night, to be read multiple times. So yeah, I've read this book. And since it lulls her to sleep by the middle of the third iteration, I'd say it deserves 5 stars.
A sweet book of adorable babies and the loving way their Mamas care for them. I'm not sure if this book is more for the child or the Mom, but it's nice and soothing to read at bedtime.
My ovaries! 😭😭😭 Totally charming with nice life drawings of babies doing baby things and mamas doing mama things. Felt a little dated, but still completely lovely. Happy Mother's Day!
This is a very cute and simple book. I think the book is very diverse in the way that is resembles a mother which is very nice considering our growing diverse population of students.
In this book there were different mamas and different babies. One mama was taking a baby out of a crib. One mama was brushing crumbs from off a baby's bib. One mama was holding the baby in the lap. One mama was playing games with the baby and making music and theaching the baby to clap. One mama was taking the baby to the ocean. One mama was giving the baby snacks. One baby was in the back of her mama. One mama was giving the baby a bath. ONe mama was rocking the baby in the chair and reading a book. I liked this book because it had babies.
The love between mother and child is celebrated in this picture book written in rhyming verse. The author makes it clear that mamas spend a lot of time taking care of their little ones, from the moment they awaken to the time they shut their eyes at the close of the day. Maternal love permeates the text and the pencil and wash illustrations, and the illustrator has taken care to show babies in various shapes and sizes, all spending time with their mothers.
Nice text about all the things that mamas do while loving their babies. Jan Ormerod's soft illustrations compliment the text nicely. A bonus is that the babies and mama's are of all different culural backgrounds. This one be a nice one for toddler time, I think.
The book is a good book for mama's. It reminded me of how I used to be when my children were just babies. I was with them at all times. When I went to work, I missed them so much. I can totally relate to this book. It made me miss the baby stages that I went through with my kids.
