Troubled teen Winter is seduced by Petros, off to the Never Never – where no one dies! Fun lasts forever. At least, that’s what he told her. Hunted across an island of immortal, cannibal’s, Winter must unravel the secret of the Never before she becomes its latest sacrifice.
Peter Pan and Hunger Games meets Lord of the Flies in a survival horror for the new age.
Winter is seduced by the boy-sprite, Petros, off to the Never, Never. A place where children never grow up and adults are the enemy. What would such a place look like? Where resources are scarce. Time passes, but age is obsolete. War with adults, starved and insane from constant battle, is the norm. What would age-less boys free of civility and role-models be willing to do to survive. To live Forever. A young girl will face her greatest test; an island full of immortal cannibals with a dark secret that sustains its existence, in the most unnatural and awful of ways.
Eh, it was ok. Every issue lost points for typos though - I will judge you hard if you publish something using "your" instead of "you're." Typos and grammar mistakes seem to be a common theme with this imprint.
oh, this one is extremely dark and fucked up, in the best way. it's like 'the call' meets 'lost boy' but with the most boring protagonist imaginable. the story is essentially a nightmare version of neverland, where a girl peter (petros) took as sacrifice for their creator becomes the one who could end neverland and bring peace to all who live there. the entire thing is very bloody and dark and violent, and absolutely engrossing. the art is gorgeous, a great mix of dreamy and rough, and the chapter pages especially are stunning.
i wish the story hadn't centered around winter though. she was so so boring. she had no personality and her boringness took away from how exciting everyone else was. also, just not into the blonde-haired, blue-eyed savior, especially in a book that does not treat indigenous people and people of color well.
an original take on Peter Pan. Violent and graphic, with wicked cool art. The story itself is a bit lacking, but that didnt stop me from enjoying this dope graphic novel.
