A missing person case turns out to be more complex than they could have imagined, and with the lines between life and death becoming blurred, they both have to confront their own feelings about what happened to them in Paris. With a trip home for Christmas impending, and the invitation to the mysterious Black Dragon still looming, Ram has a lot on his mind. But with Harry and Alex both having their own reasons for staying quiet, Will has to find a way to keep him steady on his own. What’s awaiting them will make them wonder – and rattle some of their core beliefs to their foundation.

The Best One Yet
This was the best story of the series so far. I can't wait to get to the next one to see what happens.

Lots of unsolved issues left after the murder of was "solved". There are so many longer term plots running through this series now that I'm beginning to wonder if there will ever be a solution to any of them. Christmas with Ram's parents and helping the "missing" trans person were both unexpectedly lovely parts.

I knew this was going to be a messed up story. I knew it! Everything else was just a little too neat. The ending was and wasn't what I expected. I knew something was going to happen because of what Ram got, but I wasn't sure it would go as far as it did. Wooooo. What a mindf**'
