Largely geared toward photographers who work with specific clients, like family portraits and weddings. Lots of introductory information on choosing a specialty, style and where to get training. A bit dated, but there are a few helpful ideas.
Walks you through all sorts of photography business scenarios by interviewing pros. Helps you understand what to put in your business plan and what to know about (like "use tax") before going pro and becoming your own boss--there's more business to this than just shooting photos! (This is good to know info for me but I'm not wanting to go pro right now.)
This book was GREAT! For any photographer new to the business. Has a lot of great suggestions (some of which I already knew). This is definitely one to keep in the library for future reference. I highly recommend it!
Really solid advice but at this point slightly out of date. Much still holds true and I gained a lot of knowledge about setting up a business but what a digital photographer is now is difficult to be captured in the bounds of this book.
