A sweet Christmas romance will fill any reader’s heart with joy and remind them of the beauty of the season. This wonderful story will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy all over. Grab a cup of cocoa, load it up with marshmallows, sit in front of a crackling fire, and follow along as Sylvia McDaniel transports you to the wilds of Montana and the journey of two twins who flee all that is familiar for the wilderness, and into the arms of the men who they are destined to spend the rest of their lives with.
The best for last! I have loved the series. This is the last book. I loved the plot. One mail order bride arrives at her destination with her twin sister. The twins left Charleston with fear Cora could hang. They end up in Montana meeting brothers. Great characters and writing
This story was great. It was fast paced and kept you engaged in the story line, I thought it was a great ending to this series. Mack and Cora, and James and Beth made this story the perfect end to this series. Received an advance copy from the author.
When I read a story by Sylvia McDaniel, I know that I am going to fall in love with the characters. Always giving her readers great moments with drama and romance, her book "Cora" is no exception. Mack has run an ad for a mail order bride after he lost a bet with his brother that is answered by Cora. But when she arrives it is with her twin sister after an incident in their home town that caused them to flee. With so many great moments in their story, it was difficult to put down until the last page was read. "Cora" is a great addition to the Angel Creek Christmas Brides' series, but I am a little sad to see the series end.**I was gifted "Cora" via the author, leaving my review based on my reading.** 5 Stars!
I received this as a free kindle book. Absolutely loved the storyline. It is a quick, fast paced story. I read the book in an evening. The story is a Christmas romance, a story of love and trust. Twins, Cora and Beth, answer mail order bride ad to Mack and his brother James. Both have secrets and learn to trust each other as they fall in love.
Omg! I have thoroughly enjoyed each one of these mail-order bride books, but if ever there was a great read and one of the best endings to a book this is absolutely it. I found myself with happy, sad and tears of ruminating. Cora, Mack, Beth and James were the best characters that were so easy to love. A must read! Book gifted to me.
The bond between twins is exceptionally strong. This bond is fully tested when Cora kills her twin sister’s attacker and they are forced to leave South Carolina. Montana should be far enough away so Cora answers Mack Lawson’s ad for the mail order bride that he doesn’t want. Prepare yourself for an interesting “courtship”. I enjoyed this book by Sylvia McDaniel even though it was bittersweet since it is the last in the series. I have enjoyed visiting Angel Falls. I do appreciate the epilogue and putting a bit of an update to these families.
A beautiful story of twins on the run. One seeking a grumpy old man and the other finding out he has a brother. And they may be a bit on the grumpy side of life, but they're definitely not old. Unfortunately the girls past catches up with them, but this time they have backup, and they have love.
This book brings the series end but in itself is a wonderful story of learning to trust and love. All the mail order brides had to put faith in the adventure and hope in finding happiness and love. An excellent series to the town of Angel Creek.
This book has a very nice story line. It is about twin sisters after the Civil War trying to survive in a southern town. There parents had left them an inheritance and the girls were being pursued by men wanting there money. This story is how they survived the bad guys.
The south was ravaged by war the sisters needed to leave and find a safe haven. Mail order brides was the answer and Angel Creek Montana was the place they went. An entertaining story
I’m sad to see this emotional, moving series end. So many beautiful stories and adventures for these mail order brides. Mack and Cora along with James and Beth bring us the perfect ending.
I absolutely fell in love with this story. It just shows how true love can overcome anything. It's warm-hearted, positivity breathtaking, with a dash of whimsy thrown in for good measure. I definitely recommend this book, especially for those that haven't given up on the miracle of love.
Loved these books. Hated to see them end. Makes you appreciate what women went through and how strong they were. Was one of the best series I have read!
A sweet and simple story. Drama at the beginning and the end with the middle just trying to get to know each other.
This is a clean story with only kisses. It's a standalone and the last in a long series. Little on romance, no cheating, HEA, and an epilogue 50 years in the future. (ljb)
I loved the book! The romance between Cora and Mack is very sweet! I’m sad to know that the series is ending - I highly recommend reading the entire series!
I have to honestly say I loved reading this story. Well written, fast paced, exciting and romantic all in one! Go get your copy fast to see what happens to everyone!
Truly enjoyed this series and this particular story was well written with great characters. If you like a story with a strong heroine you will like this book.
When Cora and her twin sister Beth have to flee for their lives they head to Montana as mail order brides. Mack is not happy about having to get a mail order bride due to a bet with his brother James but when he meets sweet Cora she just maybe the one his heart calls for but he knows she is keeping a secret from him. Loved this sweet story with suspense and romance that kept me reading.
