I tried…I really did! I made it to 40% and for the life of me I don’t know what these guys see in this girl. Nor do I know what any of them really look like.
The heroine doesn’t have any other expression besides blushing at all the dirty words some of the Heros say to her (no clue why or build up…just “I want to fuck your right cunt”). Also, I’m going to venture to say there’s been emotional cheating from the heroine for quite a while. 3 weeks (!!) after breaking up with the “love of her life” she tells her stepbrother this:
“I want you. All of you. Your heart, your compassion, your desire.” I place my hand over his heart and watch as he frowns. “Your love. I want all of it.”
We’re not taking about just wanting to sex him up…she’s talking full on relationship
Overall, just not for me. Didn’t like any of the characters

Absolutely loving the SCU series! So much fun to read! Freya finds out her boyfriend has been cheating on her when she decides she deserves a night on the town. She ends up meeting Nyle who she uses as her fake boyfriend in order to get back at her ex. However when she starts to fall for him as well as her stepbrother and his best friend, even though she is still in love with her ex, she is conflicted on what to do. Will they make her choose?

I finished this book so fast, kinda sad that it had to end.
Dumped is part of a series but can be read as standalone (I did).
We meet Freya who has a boyfriend Beau (kind of hard cause he cheated).
Beau has a voyeurism and share kink.
Then there is Octavio who is her stepbrother (kinda taboo, love it), who has been trying to get her attention since they were kids and who is always trying to get a reaction from her.
Andre who is Octavio's best friend who caught her doing ...
And last but certainly not least (in my opinion) Nyle (fake boyfriend)

Dumped is part of a series but can be read as standalone, which is what I did. I am tempted though to read the other books in the series now!
Freya is trying to get over her boyfriend, it has been three weeks and she still isn't ready. Her best friend takes her out one night to get her to have some fun and that is where she meets Nyle. Meanwhile, her stepbrother and his best friend are trying to make her feel better, and her ex is still coming around professing his innocence. With four men not letting her alone, and hot as sin there is no doubt that things are going to get hot and fast!
This was the first book I read, not only in this series but also by this author. I found that it read really easily and flowed pretty well. Yes, it was fast-paced and things got heated pretty quickly but all in all, it was a fun read. It will definitely leave you fanning yourself! Really detailed- without being boring, and all the characters worked well together (personality-wise and individuality).
There is a bit of name-calling, and shaming in this book; as well as the taboo situation of step-siblings being attracted to one another (normally I steer clear from that situation but the blurb was so good!)
A definite 4-4.5 for me, things resolved themselves pretty cleanly. I found a couple of issues with reactions in the book a little hard to believe but other than that a really good book!

This is a fast paced RH. There were some parts that almost felt like it was insta love, but I think most of that had to do with the history she shared with some of them.
There wasn’t a whole lot of angst when it came to the forbidden aspect of her relationship, but I found that it just kind of worked especially after learning that there were feelings that had been growing for a long time.
& omfg the dirty talk 🥵🥵🥵 I loved the way Andre & Tavi would just say the dirtiest things to Freya to make her blush.

This book was fast paced, full of amazing dirty talk, spice and hilarious comebacks when dealing with the college mean girls. My only issue was I think the ending was a little rushed.

Although this is the 5th book of this series, it is the first that I’ve read by this author. You can read all the books in this series as a standalone but I want to read the other 4 now that I’ve read this one.
Freya was cheated on by her ex Beau. Her step brother Octavio never liked Beau and he’s trying to prove to Freya that they can have a relationship and he will treat her the way she deserves. But there’s also his best friend Andre as well as her fake boyfriend Nyle. All guys to completely swoon over. I love her relationships with all of them as each one is so different but it works. When you get to the spice oh it’s so worth it.

I honestly loved this book! If you're looking for a fun standalone read for your next book this will be perfect. You don't need to read the previous books in order to follow along with Freya's story. We get a little bit of each trope, fake boyfriend, step-brother, step-brother's best friend and second chance romance. At first reading the blurb, usually cheating is a hard pass for me but after realizing what happened I was glad it was a second chance romance.
The dirty talk was off the charts with these guys, whew pages could melt. I love that even though it's a shorter book we still learn about her guys and the different ways they interact with Freya and are able to support her.
There are two more books and I can't wait to read Elowen's story next.

This is one good and steamy little standalone! Dumped is part of the Santa Catalina University shared world. This is the story of Freya. She’s just a regular ole college student who just had her heart broken by her cheating boyfriend. But, wait…was he really cheating? In enters Nyla, the well to do son of a famous actor. He’s posing as the new boyfriend of Freya, to get her boyfriend to stop bugging her. But Freya also has her eye on her stepbrother Octavio and his best friend Andre! Sounds like a lot? I assure you, it really isn’t. While a quick read standalone, the character development was on point and the steamy scenes delivered!

This book makes me sad. I want a harem, who talk dirty to me. & I now need to go read the previous 5 books in this series. A great, quick read, stand-alone, that’s full of Instalove & spicy goodness.
This was incredibly fast moving, which I appreciate & it didn’t skimp on the plot or details. The tidbits of back story - were great in helping it all flow together. Y’all, Nyles is such a gem. But Andre is where it’s at.
Spice factor for me personally was a 3.5/5. While there’s a lot dick & seggsy time, it wasn’t as intense or detailed (it was detailed, but not enough for me) as I prefer. But that’s my opinion.
Will I read the next one? Yep. Yes ma’am, yes sir, yes please.

Can her step brother Octavio and his best friend Andre put it back together or maybe the new guy Nyle that is so sweet and listens when she needs to talk. Did Beau really cheat or is someone out to destroy the relationship that they had.
They are all enrolled at SCU hopefully Elowen , Freyas BF since elementary school can help her sort out her feelings and find her place does she really need to choose of they all have a piece of heart.
This was a great read with lots of steam. I highly recommend.

This was a great quick read after a stressful day. A beach read that hot and dirty! I really liked all the guys, i enjoyed the banter with Freya and how it all worked out.
It was almost to short. There was so much more that could have been done with the story to keep it going.
Love how supportive Freya‘s bestie and parents were and really enjoyed when she had memories intertwined.
Its been 30 mins and I am still smiling. Sweet story and i have no regrets! I will defintily be reading more of Kira’s books.

“What an incredible story. It had everything I loved… short story, fast burn and RH romance. The kind of story that completely enamored me with their characters and bonds. Freya is without a doubt a lucky girl. Her men couldn’t have been more opposites even if they tried to lol. Like the beginning of a joke that turns out to be a life changing advice. This reverse harem is fast paced and super steamy. Freya owns her life and while she fights her attraction to the 4 different guys at first, she finally goes after what she wants. There's some drama with mean girls and a totally interesting side thread with her bestie. I'm really hoping we see a story for Elowen cause her past sounds intriguing. Overall a fast paced read that is fulls of steamy goodness.

I loved this standalone RH!! It’s not easy to pack that much story into a standalone but this for perfect. It was a great steamy and angsty read and with dynamic relationships between Freya and her four guys. Each of the men brought something different to the table and they all had different relationships with Freya, which I enjoyed. I was happy with how they all came together and how the ex situation got buttoned up. I’d love to read about Elowen!

A fun, fast paced, quirky sexy read. Freya is a new college student who's trying to deal with the aftermath of her boyfriends cheating her. She gets some unexpected comfort from not only a new boy on campus but also her step-brother and his best friend. I was a littler concerned by how shy and demure Freya was at first but you quickly see that she was hurting and learns to take charge.
Can't wait to read about her best friend's story, because that sounds like some fun sexy secrets.

I did feel though that the ending was rushed and abrupt. The last chapter opened up a thought and plan of action for an issue that arose. Then right after was an epilog, to me it felt rushed but overall good story and happy ever after.

This is the first book of Kira Roman's that I've read. It is part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone. I will definitely be reading more of her work.
The book dives straight in to the story, and it's a very fast paced RH which works well as a stand alone. I liked the characters and the glimpses of the back stories. The spicy talk in this book is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️, and i recommend it if you enjoy a quick but steamy read.
The book dives straight in to the story, and it's a very fast paced RH which works well as a stand alone. I liked the characters and the glimpses of the back stories. The spicy talk in this book is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️, and i recommend it if you enjoy a quick but steamy read.

This book had a cute and sexy storyline and it had good spice.Its not a whole lot of spice but the scenes we do get are DAMPENING!!

I thought this was a great read for being a shorter story. It was medium to fast burn. So the angst was there from the beginning and definitely ramped up in the end to some delicious smexy times. I love how the guys all came together at the end. I also want to say how much I loved Elowen. I have a feeling there is definitely a good story there as well.

This book has a lot going for it. Stepbrother, best friend of stepbrother, crazy ex and a famous guy who's a fake boyfriend and they all are in love with the same girl. However accepting the stepbrother isn't easy and admitting you want his best friend isn't either. Your ex trying to get you back? Do you believe him or not? Choices. I wish this book was longer though but I loved it very much.
