I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

Fairy Magic is a beautiful handbook that gives a base line of information about the fae, different types of fae, rituals, spells, potions and more.
This book is a book I definitely would have had as a child and really enjoyed as an adult too. This book is formed on the light areas surrounding the fae and not dark areas.
If you love fairies, fae and magic this is definitely a book for your shelves.

This is a real shame because I was looking forward to reading this book but I can’t open the download. I will review it on the front cover. I love the colour purple and fairies so I really wanted to read this . I am giving it four star just because I can’t review properly due to it not opening.

Firstly, this book is beautifully done inside and out. Like if you were into fairies as a child, this book sings to them. Its very fun and light hearted. Kid me would have loved this book dearly.

I personally know that there are dangers to messing/crossing with the fae or entering the fairy realm and this book doesnt focus on that aspect of fairies much. Personally I would have liked a section dedicated to that. If you buy this book you absolutely should do more research on the fae and not totally relay on this book alone. That being said the spells and info you do have is cute. I guess the book has a childlike feel to it, which isn't bad in my opinion. Maybe I've healed a small part of my inner child reading this book! It's worth a read if the fae are your thing.

As a native Hawaiian, I can tell you that the part about menehune was inaccurate. Still, I really enjoyed this book and found it super fascinating! I love fairys 😭

I did receive a ton of inspiration from this book that I will use for my future offerings and rituals. However, this book does not delve into the dark side of fairies and a lot of the “spells” seem to be the authors own personal twist on communication with fairies. I do respect her vision but feel it doesn’t accurately portray how to properly go about speaking with the fae directly. I will say the artwork and pages are done very meticulously and are gorgeous to look at!

I was skeptical of this book when I saw it in stores, because the art inside is very secular and I thought that it was trying to appeal to a wide audience outside the witchcraft community- pop culturey if you will, but I love this book. It's exactly what I was seeking out when I was first learning about fairy witchcraft. I would definitely recommend this to a beginner and I'm definitely keeping my copy and will certainly reference it. Some of it was very much dumbed down for a non-pagan audience but that's fine given that it's probably meant for a beginner.

Honestly what a beautifully enchanting book. Not only was I submerged into the world of fairies but it reminded me to stop, breathe and take the world in. I loved the images and colourways in the book, loved the wording and the tips and tricks of things to make (would make great presents too). I've loved both of the books I've read by Kane.

Very interesting book about the Fae. Although, it doesn't talk much about their dark side. There are a few good ideas but I will surely adapt them to my own practice.
