After years of separation and mutual longing, Vanessa Hughes and Emma Bradley are blissfully engaged. Everything about their new life together is wonderful, until Emma learns the children’s sport agency that sent her to Africa has gone bankrupt. Back when she was pining for Vanessa, Emma’s work was a godsend, both for her and for the kids who had nothing else good in their lives. The thought of those children losing that vital support is heartbreaking—but how can she help from so far away?
Vanessa loves how Emma cares for others, but the thought of losing her to Africa again is almost more than she can bear. Despite the insecurities from her past still clinging to her soul, Vanessa can’t sit by and watch the woman she loves suffer, much less the children. So there’s only one thing to do—call on an old friend for help.
Philanthropists Eve and Lainey Sumptor are eager to come to the rescue. With the help of their pooled resources (including an erotic meeting with Mistress), Vanessa and Emma embark on the journey of a lifetime. A journey that will finally heal the last cracks in their wounded souls.
Follow the ladies from Melissa Tereze’s bestselling Mrs. Middleton and Jourdyn Kelly’s critically acclaimed LA Lovers series as they join forces for a wild journey to explore the deeper sides of themselves.

Teach Me is a crossover story with books by Melissa Tereze and Jourdyn Kelly. It is the post-HEA book of a couple of great love stories, including Tereze's Mrs Middleton and Kelly's 50 Shades of Pink (novella) and Becoming. It also falls in the same universe as Kelly’s LA Lovers series and Eve Sumptor series and the characters form part of a friend group. They look like they lead exciting lives so I’ll definitely be going back to reading those books later.
I was elated to see Vanessa and Emma again. Mrs Middleton was one hell of a forbidden romance novel and they are now deeply in love and engaged. The problem though is that the recurring issues that they fought hard to grapple with since the first day continue to plague them. I was kinda bummed about it at first, but who knew that one trip to L.A. would change all that? It's a spectacular vacation that leads the couple to meet some really kind and generous new friends (Kelly’s characters) who would end up helping them in more ways than one. I’m in love with this friend group. Every single one of them. They are unrealistically nice and filthy rich and I need these people in my life. Where are they?
While this book doesn’t break your heart like Mrs Middleton did, it certainly tugs at other body parts. And the heat goes up a few notches when Mistress comes along to teach the couple a thing or two about communication and trust with a sexy mask and... other toys.
If this is the result, Tereze and Kelly need to co-write more often. I think they complement each other really well and I'd love to see more of Vanessa/Emma, Cass/Rebecca (Mistress) and the rest together again.
I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I was in love with Mrs. Middleton and now that the novel Vanessa is out, I had to prep by reading this crossover book. Enjoyed it a lot, though I haven't read any of the Jourdyn Kelly books. So while the focus here was on Vanessa and Emma, I got a glimpse/teaser of these other characters I'd like to check out in the future.
It makes sense that Vanessa struggles with insecurity over her age difference with Emma and I'm glad they're having honest conversations about it. It's something that must be overcome if the couple is going to work in the long term. Interesting how they decided to take that on in this story.
A quick, sexy read to whet my appetite for Vanessa!
When I heard about this co-write I got so excited. I mean I just love both authors. Vanessa and Emma and Rebecca and Cass are just my favourite couples ever. So the prospect of them meeting each other was almost too much for my lesbian heart. And my whole expectations got fulfilled. Not that I ever had any doubts. ☺️
When Vanessa is looking for a way to help the agency that means the world to Emma, she remembers Eve. For everyone that doesn’t know her I definitely recommend to read Jourdyn’s series. Of course Eve comes up with the perfect idea and also has another idea how she can help Vanessa and Emma as a couple. Then as great as their relationship is (especially in the heat department) both still have their insecurities and struggle to talk about them to each other.
But who is better to help there? Of course Mistress (Rebecca) 😍 Teaching them to opening up and learning to trust with your whole heart it’s where Mistress just excels in. I won’t reveal too much about what happens here then I don’t wanna spoil the whole fun. But I promise there is lots 🔥🔥🔥 and you better prepare yourself for a cold shower.
Besides the teaching part we also get to know much more about Vanessa‘s past. A part I enjoyed so very much. You get to see a side of Vanessa you didn’t know before. And you also learn why she did some things the way she did. And wow my heart just went out to her and my admiration grew even more. Just wow.
Another part I loved was to meet again so many great characters from Jourdyn‘s former books. I fell in love with them all over again and can’t wait what’s coming next there.
Besides omg the end will leave you breathless and speechless. And it will leave you wanting more. That’s at least how I felt at the end. I WANT MORE OF THEM. 🥵😍🥵😍
Jourdyn and Melissa I can’t thank you enough for this masterpiece. Please never stop doing what you’re doing because you’re both brilliant. And whoever is reading this right now instead of already reading the book, I suggest you go and change that right away. 😉
I received an advance reader copy from the author and voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.
This was a quick and satisfying read. Although Mrs Middleton couldn't hold my interest as much, this book gives more perspective into Vanessa's character which helped me understand and like her a bit more. Also Rebecca is one of my favorite characters by Jourdyn Kelly so that was an added bonus.
I read a couple of reviews to help me write mine. I can't expand on those 2 reviews. Having not read the LA series or the Eve series, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to follow the story, but I had no problem. This story is exquisite and hot. I won't go into the details as others have . If you read Mrs. Middleton you're familiar with Vanessa and Emma and how their relationship began and grew. It's a love story for the ages. But Vanessa is having doubts as to if she would be enough for the younger Emma. Eve introduces Vanessa to Mistress, who helps take Vanessa and Emma's relationship to its heights. I'm not a writer, so my review isn't doing this book any justice. This is a delicious read, and did I say hot. It flows smoothly and you get to know all the characters and love them without having been introduced earlier, but it peaks your interest enough to buy the series of books to know them better. Melissa and Jourdyn did a masterful job in co writing this book.
I looked forward to this co-write by Ms. Tereze with Jourdyn Kelly and figured I would get a hot storyline with cross-over main characters. Whew, Teach Me did not disappoint. The leads in this plot with layers of emotions and torrid sex are Vanessa and Emma with Rebecca and Cass a close second pairing - Rebecca helps Vanessa and Emma to better communicate with each other among other things. Dare I hope for more co-writes between these two authors?? Read without stopping to a very satisfying end. Nothing more to say other than wish it was longer, read it then have a cold shower!!
I rec'd a copy from the author and this is a completely unbiased and voluntary review.
This book connects the stories of many couples introduced in books by Melissa Tereze and Jourdyn Kelly. I got familiar with Vanessa and Emma in Mrs. Middleton, which I enjoyed very much. I can remember I read that book in one go because I was so drawn into the story. This one was not so enticing.
Vanessa is worried that Emma might leave her because of either the age difference, bedroom boredom or going for another mission to Ghana. There is a lot of angst. Using a neat trick, Vanessa makes both women go to LA for a vacation. At least Emma thinks it is such a kind of trip. In fact, Vanessa uses her connections to organize charity for Emma’s children’s sport agency, which went bankrupt. Also, it is a perfect opportunity to bring some diversity to Vanessa’s and Emma’s love life. And here it is when the fun begins.
I enjoyed the picturesque language of both authors. The LA adventures were also entertaining. Nonetheless, it should have been hot, but it wasn’t. There is just too much talking. I would like to recommend this book as a pleasant read which provokes to reach for other titles by Melissa Tereze and Jourdyn Kelly to get acquainted with all the characters.
What an amazing, steamy journey Vanessa and Emma were in LA. It was great to see them again, navigating their relationship and learning new things about each other and as a couple.
I loved to meet new couples from the L.A Lovers series and I can't wait to dive into those books. Also, I need more Vanessa and Emma.
I got an ARC for an honest review but I'll be rereading this on Kindle Unlimited as well.
With their powers combined, Jourdyn Kelly and Melissa Tereze wrote an amazingly steamy romance that combined both the storylines of LA Lovers and Mrs. Middleton. This can be read as a standalone but was a fantastic addition to both series. I was upset when the story ended.
Teach Me has the emotional storyline that drives a plot in a way that makes you invested in the characters. (If you only read this book it will probably make you interested in the other book series.) This is was a hot story with a lot of heart.
Jae's SRC character is a teacher or professor age gap romance road trip (there's a trip) part of a series

SAPPHIC BOOK BINGO: established couples, different orientation, erotica, full-time writer, favorite trope: UNICORN: character over 50, second generation, more than 2 POVs (possibly other categories)
The continuation of Vanessa and Emma's story in the UK connected them with the characters in the LA Lovers novels. I read Mrs Middleton, but not the series set in LA, and it wasn't necessary to do so for the book.
After disappointing news, Vanessa set up a generous surprise for Emma that directly involved two of the LA women. The trip across the pond ended up including help from several of the women from the series, especially one with a lesser known talent. The age gap between the Brits led to frequent insecurity of the women maintaining a forever commitment, even though they were engaged. The jaunt ended up leading to an awakening that neither women knew could bring their relationship to a whole new level.
I loved the original Mrs Middleton story and characters, and I'd like to read the LA Lovers series after reading this sequel (of sorts.) There was one fairly annoying issue that bothered me, though. When Vanessa and Emma were together, they were frequently referred to as "her fiancee." There were many other options to use in reference to each other: lover, future wife, wife-to-be, partner, future spouse, betrothed, bride-to-be.
I was well pleased that the engaged couple discovered another element to their relationship because we all love a HEA. It brought more trust and excitement to their union and resolved a big part of their insecurities with each other. It was a good novel.
This book is like an exquisite fine dining experience. So much variaty and deliciously, hot delicassys! There are all the wonderful characters from Jourdan Kelly's , LA Lovers world and the mindblowing thing about is that this fantastic world full of incredible and beautiful women collides with the masterpiece of Melissa Tereze - Mrs Middtedon! The focus is of course on Vanessa and Emma in this story, but all couples get their very own moment in which they can shine again and I personally am so happy that Rebecca and Cass are on focus in their element again. These two are my absolute favorite couple from LA Lovers ans always so hot! Yes, "Mistress" teaches Vanessa exactly what she needs to know... I don't want to reveal much more! Except maybe that it is extremely hot, steamy, passionate and sensual. A MUST READ for all Melissa Tereze and Jourdan Kelly Fans and everyone who loves a great steamy romance!!! It helps of course with the story, to know the other books of both Authors. They are all fantastic!
This crossover with Jourdyn Kelly and Melissa Tereze was phenomenal. I loved seeing more of all the couples and getting an update in their lives. It was a great read.
First of all - a warning: do not read this book without reading Mrs. Middleton (by Melissa Tereze) first. It is also recommended to read at least one of Jourdyn Kelly's novels from her LA Lovers series. If you don't know the characters, it will be less enjoyable, and that's a shame. Now, after that warning, let me say that I enjoyed this book. I believe that most of my enjoyment stems from meeting the characters again after getting to know them in previous books. The book cannot stand on its own, in my opinion as none of the characters is developed enough for a novel and though there are many hints about the background stories, we don't get to fully understand what's going on (unless you read the previous books). This is typical of sequels, and that's OK. I expected it. In this book, however, it has reached a whole new level. Maybe because it's 2 authors and, therefore, many characters are being introduced to each other, it becomes like one big introduction party instead of a slow friendship being built on a steady foundation... As I said, it is OK for a sequel to be like that, but unfortunately, it is also the reason for the low rating. As opposed to the previous book, Mrs. Middleton, this one has less angst, and it is covered by lots of sexy scenes and sincere and open communication. To summarise - I recommend this book but only if you've read some of the previous books by the authors. Get to know the characters before you read this sequel.
T&T: Tropes: Age gap, BDSM, insecurity in the relationship. Triggers: Unsupportive family, BDSM, open-door sex scenes, violence (off-page).
Rating: I gave it 3 stars because it is not a stand-alone novel. The authors rely on the readers' previous acquaintance with their MCs, and therefore the characters are not well-developed, and the story jumps through many points of view without proper justification. It feels like a bunch of epilogues were told together to give us the closure we wanted with all those lovely women...
felt like i had to read this because of mrs.middleton but i actually enjoyed it, at first i was annoyed at hearing about characters I didn’t know their backstories but by the end it had me adding all of their books to my tbr.
This has been like a trip back home to see old friends and although is centric on Vanessa and Emma is nice to have a glimpse into what the ladies from LA Lovers series are up to, I just wish there was more of everything . Is Jessie’s story next from Jourdyn? I hope so :) Will we ‘attend’ Emma’s and Vanessa’s wedding and everyone is invited? Will the Brits will go back to LA at some stage? So many questions. It was a joy to read this book!
It was sooooo good reading about these 2 worlds in one book. I loved Mrs Middleton so when this book came out I had to go and read the LA Lovers series so I could enjoy this book. This book was sexy and loving and full of all the feels. Fabulous
What I loved about this title was that the two women at the centre of this story showed so much love and care for each other. The major trope of Teach Me is the age-gap of the main characters, Vanessa and Emma. Due to Vanessa’s fear of not being enough for Emma and due to Vanessa’s connections to some other wealthy women they end up being in Los Angeles. There they experience some great moments. Because of Vanessa’s fear to lose Emma, she wants to find ways to make things more interesting for them and to reach a deeper level of trust and openness. This is why they begin a journey into (very light) bdsm. The story was a fun read, and actually there was almost too much harmony in all of this. The major driving force behind the developments between Vanessa and Emma is Vanessa’s fear of losing Emma. This fear is not based on anything but Vanessa’s age. Reading about several couples of women who were leading successful and rather fulfilling lives was lovely. I enjoyed this a lot. What I also like is that this is one story connected to a whole series of other books where you can learn more about other characters appearing in Teach Me. The only thing I disliked was how Vanessa and Emma are introduced to bdsm. They have a kind of tutor for a short introduction, which is ok, however their talking about limits and boundaries while exploring bdsm is left to the imagination. It simply doesn’t work that way when neither of the two women has the slightest clue what you can do and what you cannot do when you want to play with something like a flogger, or even just a blindfold. This is where some additional lines would have been nice to make clear just how much this is about trust and just how easy it can be to hurt someone if you do it the wrong way. However, this is not enough to influence the overall good impression much. So, if you enjoy reading about successful, independent women who have wonderful and meaningful relationships, a few rather short sex scenes and couples’ relationship even though there is a major difference of age, this might be just the right title for you. 4.6 out of 5 stars.
I can’t even put into words what this audiobook did to me… hearing Kate A Walsh perfectly narrate Vanessa & Emma, while Tessa Stavers brings to life all our favourite characters from the LA Lovers series, it literally blew my tiny mind!
Eve & Lainey in a perfectly narrated scene with Vanessa & Emma in Ellie’s Diner was just everything! And that’s BEFORE everyone’s favourite Mistress entered the book… 🤯 Throw in a little light BDSM and I was officially and fully sucked into this world.
Melissa Tereze Author, Jourdyn Kelly, Kate & Tessa absolutely nailed it with this book. They brought together two of my favourite worlds, all of my favourite characters and yet somehow still managed to take us on an emotional journey, with a healthy dose of spice!
I have this book on my book shelf but this audio is going straight to my favourites list! Thank you ladies, not only for putting in the hard work to bring us this book but to do it in the right way - with Kate & Tessa!
If you haven’t listened to it yet, go get it and thank me later! 🔥🙌🏼
This is a wonderful collaboration of two great authors, Jourdyn Kelly and Melissa Tereze. It brings together Mrs. Middleton and the LA Lovers (& Eve Sumptor) series.
Emma & Vanessa from Mrs. Middleton find their way to Los Angeles and first meet Eve & Lainey, and then most of the LA Lovers group. Vanessa showed an incredible act of selflessness by contacting Eve Sumptor to begin with, knowing doing this could take Emma away from her again. Once they arrive in LA, both are blown away by everyone's kindness.
Rebecca has a couple of hot scenes with Emma & Vanessa where she is teaching them the ways of Mistress!
Jourdyn always has her characters build each other up and brings out realistic scenarios with real emotions. Melissa's Vanessa & Emma were made to feel welcomed and part of the group immediately. We all could use friends like the LA Lovers group!
I can't wait to hear more about Jessie!
I really hope Jourdyn & Melissa will continue the collaboration!
What can you say about two really brilliant writers who combine their talents to produce a remarkable story. Being a fan of both Jourdyn Kelly and Melissa Tereze , I was excited but nervous. First, what a OMG ending. It just was that good! To get Mrs. Middleton’s Vanessa and Emma and introduce then to LA Lovers cast of great people Eve and Lainey, Blaise, Piper and Greyson, Rebecca and Cass, Ellie, Jessie and Hunter, Aunt Wills, Patty and Mo, Kiara and Lauren and Dani and Claire. This is just a dream gone wild. The story that weaved from one couple to the other did it’s job to pull you in. What I liked was that a few things were left unsettled so possibly more coming. 🤔 All in all, a great collaboration of two writers who have control of two stories that interweaves and has made fans very, very happy.
I love how a book can take up right where the last one ended. It can be a stand alone but reading Mrs. Middleton you where able to fully understand what Emma & Vanessa were going through. So they land in LA and have the adventure of lifetime. With dining with the elite, learning about themselves sexually and finding delicious pies this book does not disappoint. The trust they put in each other is genuine and even relatable. The book does go into the world of BSDM but not to make the reader uncomfortable. I've become a fan of Melissa and with this being a collaboration with Jourdyn Kelly I will be reading her books next.
Although I'd only read Mrs Middleton by Melissa Tereze prior to reading Teach me 😬, I found this crossover to be excellent! I'm working on getting the Eve Sumptor book series though, because I'd love to get to know Eve and Lainey's whole story. And all their friends' stories!
Catching up with Emma and Vanessa was wonderful, I didn't even know I desperately needed this follow-up until I actually read it!
This entire crossover was brilliant. Melissa and Jourdyn both have remarkable talent, and it shows in their work. I'd recommend their novels to anyone who enjoys sapphic romance! Saucy sapphic romance that's a little beautifully sappy too.
I love cross overs. I love them even more when they help me discover new authors. I was on a binge read on all Melissa Tereze's books because, well, my queer heart was in need of wlw romance. So when I reached the Mrs Middleton story and saw there was a second part that consisted of a cross over, I just HAD to get on reading it. This cross over was fun and cute and sexy in all the right places. I can always use more spice, but this had the right amount for a great story to develop. I love story lines that emphasize friendships and building strong relationships. I love how whole hearted this was and how much good heart feelings this gave me. My queer heart was definitely satisified.
Was so happy to get more of Mrs Middleton (Vanessa) and Emma! It was also cool to see Jourdyn’s and Melissa’s worlds collide! I’ve not read anything by Jourdyn before but I definitely want to after this. I won’t lie, there was a couple times I was a little confused as I don’t know Jourdyn’s character dynamics. But I still enjoyed it and it was fun watching Emma and Venessa discover and explore BDSM.
Written in third person with multiple POV’s. Narrated by KA Walsh & Tessa Stavers, in duet. Established Couple’s, Age Gap (17), UK/US crossover, BDSM, Dom/Sub Dynamic. 8x Spicy Scenes. (Two are F2B)
The 2nd book in the series was probably my favorite one. I loved how Emma and Vanessa’s journey took them to LA so that Vanessa could help the charity that Emma held so dear. The friends that they made with Eve, Lainey, Cass, Rebecca, Ellie, and others was amazing! I loved having the additional characters brought in and see how the relationship with Emma and Vanessa grow. The intro to the BDSM world was fantastic and I loved how it helped Vanessa find that piece of herself that she had lost. So goo!

This book was hot and an easy read. I have never read any of Jourdyn Kelly's books, but I think I will now. I liked all the characters from LA, and they seem to have some interesting sides to them. The only issue I had was Vanessa worrying about her age and that Emma wouldn't want her. She picked you. She wants you. It was a lot of coverage over them tip toeing around their feelings that it was almost too much and slightly whiney. Other than that it was a good book and I'll be reading the next one.
I loved Mrs Middleton so I bought this book when was released but I was keeping it for later, not to waste it, and now with my Summer Holidays I started it and,OMG what an amazing story building their future together and then mixing their story with the LA lovers books characters what a great idea. I loved the book and the stories of all the characters are so nicely combined creating a very interesting book that I couldn’t put down.
Great story about coming to the realization that you love an older woman. Emma has always admired her best friend’s, Ellie’s, much older, lovely, sophisticated and rich mom, Vanessa. Little did she know that Vanessa has always felt the same way, too. So, how can they be together as a couple when they each find it difficult to express their feelings to each other? And to their families?
