In a world of darkness, who will help a young girl find herself and let her live her life again?
Shay and her twin sister are in Jamaica to celebrate their sweet 16th, and her birthday is one to remember. Shay experiences elation, disappointment, and traumatic loss.
Shay
A horrific attack leaves my world dark, and as everybody else’s life goes on, I need to learn to live a different way from Sasha, and she leaves me behind. She parties, I stay home. She loves freely; I read about it in a novel. I experience life through her now.
Four years later, Sasha throws another big bash for HER birthday at a club, and she insists I come. Tonight, I meet someone who lights up my world and makes me feel that it’s possible to be Shay again, no matter what.
Find Shay is a short intro to a taboo age age gap romance new series giving you the background of the main character. The intro is intriguing and I'm looking forward to reading the first book in the series.
This is just a short piece, setting the scene for subsequent stories. Shay is one of identical twins, but she and Sasha are not the same on the inside. Shyer and more thoughtful than Sasha, Shay, even at sixteen eschews the gregarious life favoured by her sister. An interesting story full of promise for the future.
Shay is 16, in Jamaica, with her family and boyfriend, and it's her birthday. Well not just her birthday but her twin sister Sasha. On what should be her happiest night turns to tragedy and her life forever changes...
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this engaging, entertaining, and compelling story. Shay's personality really hooks a reader into the story, creating empathy and compassion for her, how her life changes and the twin sibling rivalry. There's an HFN. Recommended!
A short introduction to the series about Shay and her twin sister Sasha that celebrates their 16th birthday in Jamaica with their parents and boyfriends.
A tragic horrifying encounter leaves Shay blind and closed off from men.
Four years later at their 20th birthday party at a nightclub Shay meets a man Nathan who mistakes her for Sasha by passionately kissing her which leads to her wanting a man again......
So ends the intro to Shays dark days with a glimmer of light when she finds her passionately self again!
Just take one moment to remember your life is worth living with the good and the bad. Shay begins to bloom and it is wonderful. Can’t wait to she the beautiful flower she grows into.
This is a brief introduction to the cast in Zoe Adams’ upcoming series. I am excited to see where this goes, as this is so different from what we have gotten for Zoe in the past. I love how similar and different Shay and Sasha are. And I look forward to seeing how their stories unfold.
Merged review:
Published: June 14, 2021 Zoe Adams I received a copy of this book for free, and I leave my review voluntarily.
Zoe Adams is an audacious author exploring the layered ups and downs of love. A passionate writer, she draws her inspiration from a variety of sources. Her admiration for romance books, her understanding of human character, and her observing eye for exciting scenarios are a few of them. But above all, her greatest writing gift is her bold, unapologetic love for love itself.
“We can do this together.”
Shay can’t stop thinking about the stranger she met at her sister's birthday party. The kiss they shared. The ride was too short, and he has consumed her mind most deliciously. When fate intervenes again, Shay is surprised Nathan is in front of her again. As their relationship blossoms, Shay slowly starts thinking about how Nathan and her sister knew each other. What was their relationship? Should she be worried?
Whew. Steamy is an understatement. This series is sure to be filled with drama and insanely steamy scenes.
I like Shay, and she is such a well-thought-out and developed character. I am enjoying her. I’m not sure about Nathan yet, and he is still a mystery. I want to like him, but I still am not clear about his connection to Sasha.
I am intrigued by this series, and I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book!
