The heroine entered a novel as the saintess that walked a thorny path. However, she did not desire the bleak road, instead opting to walk on a flowery path by abandoning the frustrating original timeline and adopting a father.
“You, be my daddy!”
Turns out he’s the final boss and villain which worked out just as well.
“Daddy, why is name daddy? So cute. What did you eat for breakfast? Handsomeness?”
As she dreamt of a happy ending with her daddy, a huge obstacle stood in her path: the existence of the hero destined to annihilate the final boss. Since it’s come to this, the heroine decided to save her father and the hero, too. Maybe the world, too, if she had the time.
“If you come near my daughter, I’ll kill you.”
But her daddy is being a pain… he keeps raising death flags and now the hero’s obsessed over her, asking to take responsibility for taming him.
Overall: 3.5/5 stars Plot: 3/5 stars Characters: 3/5 stars Writing: 2/5 stars Engrossing: 3/5 stars (Note for my rating system: 1 is awful, 2 is bad, 3 is average, 4 is good, and 5 is perfect)
This is a slightly above average, trope loving, lighthearted light novel. It plays on its tropes well in my opinion. Some could find it annoying, but I'm not the kind who did.
There are some spelling/grammar errors, but they're mostly only in one part of the first half of the book. Aside from that, the writing (or the translation, I'm unsure) is alright. Not awful, but not too good either. Left me wanting more out of it. That sums up the book pretty well too. It's a read that can easily be done in one sitting for the quick or avid reader.
I'm in the process of rereading books one through three so that I can read 4 and 5 with a fresh recap. As a result of my reread, I have dropped it from 5 to 4 stars. I have read a lot of books since I initially read this book so the genres become a lot more known to me. When I read this I was still new to the genre and everything felt really fresh and original.
This is a very cute series. It capitalizes on the appeal of a tough / villainous male character that is utterly transformed by the introduction of a young female child. It's your classic tough guy turned daddy kind of appeal story.
More specifically, the main character is reincarnated into a character from her favorite book. Through her knowledge of events to come and the convenience of the placement in the timeline that she is awakened, she is able to change the fate of her character role so that instead of being adopted into a tragic family she is adopted by her all-time favorite character.
There are lots of moments of absolute adorable ridiculousness as the little 6-year-old fangirl totally flips out and gushes over how much she adores and loves her new daddy. There are moments that it's a little weird because you have an adult and a child's body but for the most part she usually acts like a 6-year-old. Her interactions and dedication to absolutely adoring her favorite character now Daddy is the saving grace for a character that would normally become the villain. Through her influence and love the villain starts to learn how to be human.
I feel like a lot of what's in here isn't particularly write home about level of creative, but the characters really are charming. I enjoy every moment of the story, and the only reason I dropped a star from the review is because it does have a small pinch of generic in the storyline itself. As for the other aspects of the book, I do have to point out that this book is translated from Korean into English. As a result there are numerous locations where the pronouns are not correctly translated. Due to the nature of the source material, genders not really assigned to a lot of the Korean pronouns (this information has been told to me by a friend who is learning Korean, may not be 100% accurate but is to my understanding.). This inconsistency of correct gender pronoun use in the story leads to several moments where you aren't really sure who's talking. One other thing that bothers me as a grammatical formatting thing, there are parts where the POV shifts between characters. This shift can be very confusing as the story is primarily told in first person from the main characters perspective and then it'll randomly go into third person because it's in somebody else's perspective. This constant shifting of back and forth between voice perspective is very jarring to me as a reader.
Overall a fairly good read, definitely room for improvement.
This was okay. It was fine. It had some cute moments and characters I enjoyed reading about. It however lacked...tension.
The first time Amelia runs into trouble, an attack while she's traveling to Rahel, her knowledge of future events in the book make sense and comes in reasonable handiness. Save the future male lead's brother so that he doesn't have a grudge against her new adopted (future villain) father.
Then the next attack happens. And rhen another and another. Plus minor things that she "fixes" to make things easier.
At no point does she seem to be in danger. Every instance her criminally powerful Saintess powers manifest (much earlier then in the novel), making short work of life threatening moments.
Added the creepy fascination several of her father's subordinates have with her and the religion being utterly corrupt, ut didn't always make for interesting reading. I found her constant "Daddy is the best!" routine annoying.
What showed promise is when she had to think on her dainty feet. Much like others who find themselves reincarnated in this genre, as she changes things some events happen quicker or for a different reason or from a different source. While she's able to predict matters to a certain level of accuracy, she's not always able to predict the consequences of her interference and thus has to use her brain.
In all, it took me longer than it should have to finish, but was moderately enjoyable enough to want to read volume 2.
This book is hilarious. I love the saintess and how she is enjoying being a kid again in the world of her favorite novel. She is living her fangirls best life. I also liked that for once in a story where the character ends up in a novel that they're not worrying about the dangers of changing the story. Instead she's doing everything she can to change the story and make sure the characters she loves even those that are villains live happily ever after. And that poor villain doesn't know what to do with that love bomb that's been dropped on him. Aside from the humorous situations there is a really good storyline to this of a world plagued by evil magicians and beasts as well as corrupt leaders. I like that while she knows a lot because of the book this world still holds much for her to discover so she doesn't have a lot of spoilers on what's to come especially as she has changed the original so much.
I honestly can't believe people find her 'annoying' when her every move is calculated. Her words, her weaponizing her cuteness. She deliberately makes it so that people will like her enough to do anything for her. She literally says, "In other words, be a pushover. The weaker people see you as, the more vicious they can become. This was a means of filtering the rotten apples out of the batch."
While doing all of these, she maintains a childlike innocence and hope for both her future and her favourite character, Miltiades.
Writing is obviously like any other light novel... lacks detail and proper timelines. But it doesn't take anything from the enjoyment of my tired mind🤭
The writing is not the best quality and you can get really confused on what is happening, especially in the beginning. There were a few times when it felt disjointed and like the author was writing about one thing, but they started writing about something else at the same time. But the plot is still fun, even if it’s not all that exciting yet. It’s not the greatest piece of literature, but it is rather light hearted and fun. If you’re okay with that, then I recommend.
A very cute and comedic story following a fangirl (of the villain) who finds herself reincarnated in her favourite story, as the tragic heroine.
Changing the fate of the heroine, she chooses the villain as her father, and thus begins her story, as she not only changes her fate but also of the other characters around her. Using her 'cuteness', she has many people wrapped around her finger and knowing this, uses this to her advantage in such a comedic way.
Very cute, and looking forward to the next volume!
i’m so glad i decided to pick this up. initially, i didn’t want to because when it comes to stories with a young mc, i usually prefer it in manhwa form—mostly because it’s a lot cuter and more enjoyable when you get to actually “see” them in action.
but i was wrong. i had such a pleasant experience reading this one. amelia was so cute and it made me smile seeing her doing her best to wrap her daddy around her fingers. i’m looking forward to seeing more of her antics in the future.
i liked it, i was hoping for a meh book or a hum book. Didn't dissapoint me. Sometimes i just skipped some paragraphs because they were unnecesary but overall it wasn't boring and there weren't that many pages i skiped. i love the humour of the protagonist. I think it's what makes the book so wholesome. I just read it in hours.
3.5* I quit enjoyed this. I honestly didn't know it was translated in the first place so finding it on kindle unlimited was a pleasant suprise. This book was so sweet I think it gave me cavities I swear. Main charater is kinda overpowered but I think it was a nice palet refresher.
Niedlich mit einer ziemlich durchgeknallten Protagonistin! Bin schon sehr gespannt, was sie noch alles für Blödsinn macht. Obwohl sie eigentlich eine Heilige sein sollte. *gg*
This one is meant as fluff and it delivers on some father-daughter cuteness. Given that the lead is 6-8 years old she is given plot armor and Mary Sue like buffs. Readers don't want to just bully children for no reason. Still, the world building is done in heavy exposition dumps which are repeated to add a bit more history or revelations in time. The main plot points are drawn out. The character choices are bonkers. Sometimes I can't tell if something is exaggerated for comedic effect or if it is just a poor translation of the original material. If you enjoy the genre this seems like an effective execution but it is not for me personally.

Volume 1 was pretty good, I enjoyed the cute interactions with the protagonist and her new father. As the story went on, the cute interactions between those two was really wholesome.
I gave this a four rating because they have been a few typos which didn’t make it too bad but I still understand what was going on in the story. Hopefully when the next volume comes out, it’s all good!
