A vengeful sun has burnt much of what once was and in the year 2174 the world lives a somber life.

With cities dying and cut off from each other, Erin works as a mercenary for the local crime lord who tasks her to recover an owed debt from a man hiding out in the wastes beyond the city. But what she finds instead of blood money is a lost and resentful young girl. Guided by Erin, the child must face the hardships of the world she inhabits while coming to terms with the true meaning of loss and sacrifice.

Serenity is a blend of post-apocalyptic and dystopian drama focusing on the very real decay and collapse of societies that face extinction not by monsters, games or conflict… but by the very erosion of failure and life itself.

Hayley Faye is a Mexican-American writer with a passion for games, comedy and all things awesome. Originally from Mexico City, she came to the United States at a young age as her family seeked out a better life for themselves.

A fan of everything from sitcoms to science fiction epics, she found comfort in all the magical places she could escape to. She especially admired all of the people behind these productions as she knew how much effort even the simplest of projects could take.
