Robin Baines, a police officer known for her tenacity and no-nonsense attitude, is on the brink. After two gruelling assignments where she took down a drug kingpin and a stalker, she feels like she has nothing left to lose. Can Robin set aside her anxiety and fears and accept love once and for all?
This episode in the series is tough emotionally and shows Eddie still has lots of power. I feared this was the end for Robin. She is still suffering physically and mentally, unable to properly express her feelings. Misha's art sales have dried up during the quarantine so she's strapped financially. Dealing with her own pressures she's unable to properly process Robin's mental stresses. So much to deal with on both sides, emotions are stretched thin. Will the two connect again? I can't wait for the next episode to find out.
I rec'd a copy from the author and this is a voluntary, totally unbiased review.
Wow so much has happened to Robin. The story is really getting interesting and I can’t imagine what else these characters might have to go through. Poor Misha seems to be getting lost in all that is happening. I will keep my fingers crossed that book 4 will answer more questions.
